Hot damn! Are you really going to destroy a flag without it even starting?! Zhang Jian felt pity for Ye Meixiu. Her love interest broke her route before it even started!
No matter, there are better ones for Lu Chen. It didn't matter if Lu Chen didn't choose Ye Meixiu. In the beginning, Zhang Jian wasn't even looking at Ye Meixiu to be the one for Lu Chen.
He suggests, "To be honest, I thought Feng Meifeng would be better girlfriend material for you rather than your little sister."
"Wait? Are you saying that my little sister isn't cute enough to be girlfriend material?!" Lu Chen glares at Zhang Jian. Nobody can be spiteful about Ye Meixiu in front of his face, not even his best buddy.
Zhang Jian looks at Lu Chen like he's a hypocrite. Dude, where did you get that idea from?! And didn't you indirectly say it yourself?!
He shakes his head at this sister-con guy, "I'm talking about for you. Not anybody else, just you. Feng Meifeng is a better match for you."
"...How?" Lu Chen looks at Zhang Jian like he was out of his mind. The two of us don't match at all.
“You do realize if I ask the Feng Meifeng out, it’s basically giving myself a screw myself over card, right?” Lu Chen shivers at the thought of them being together. He could already imagine Feng Meifeng slaughtering him every day.
“Relax, it was just a suggestion. Besides, Feng Meifeng is a pretty good choice. She’s not my cup of tea, but she is one of the more popular girls in the school.” Zhang Jian lifts his arms up in innocence as it was just a thought. However, what he said about Feng Meifeng’s popularity is true.

Despite being a scholarship student like Long Shen, she wasn’t bullied or deemed by anyone. Partially due to her beauty. She even has her own fan club.
Not as big as Ye Meixiu and the others, but it was still well enough in the hundreds. With rankings, she should be at least fourth place, right below the three.
“She still gets a lot of confessions from what I heard. There should be at least one confession from boys each week at the least.” Zhang Jian had gathered a large amount of information about her from what the girls said.
“But all of those confessions by the boys were rejected. So brother Chen, if you actually go for her, then she would be like an extremely level boss.”
“Who would want to ask a gorilla her out?!” Lu Chen looks at him strangely. An extremely level boss? She was. Lu Chen could still feel his arm hurting from her grip yesterday. He continues,
"Whoever her boyfriend is, I pray for their safety. Tho, to have such a vicious gorilla like her to be their girlfriend, the guy is probably an M.”
Before Lu Chen could continue to pray for Feng Meifeng’s future boyfriend’s safety, a dark and sinister voice calls out in front of him,
“Oh, So I am a vicious gorilla now?” Lu Chen’s back starts to sweat as he turns slowly to a glaring Feng Meifeng. The two were just staring at each other without talking.
“Ahhh, class monitor. Why are you doing here?” Zhang Jian broke the silence as he could tell if he didn't, then the gun powder would have kept growing.
Zhang Jian is going to say they were joking. But Lu Chen looked at her straight in the face and said, “Feng Meifeng, why do you keep pestering me about what I do and how to act? It’s getting annoying.” Lu Chen said those words in the bluntest way possible known to man.

What the hell, man! Can’t you sugar coat your words even a little?! Zhang Jian didn’t expect Lu Chen would blurt something that vicious out without any restraints. He knew this whole situation has now turned further south.
And yes, it did. Feng Meifeng was the one who was the most shocked. She shouts at him,” What did you say to me, Lu Chen!” She had never seen such a blunt person like Lu Chen before.
