Chapter 83: Screw It!

The male customers are glaring at him like he's the scum of the earth. However, they aren't the only ones glaring at him. Some of the females are also giving him a disappointed gaze. The girls had thought that Lu Chen was the modern-day prince charming. But from how coldly he treats Ye Meixiu, it turns out he is just another playboy. It saddens them to find out that such a handsome guy has a horrible personality to negate it.

Lu Chen's brows knit as he knew what the crowd was thinking about this situation. Oh my goodness! I'm screwed either way! The options are: either become a playboy through the public's perception and get scorned upon. Or die from the males at school once rumors spread of him feeding Ye Meixiu.

Either one is going to lead to my destruction! If he chooses the first option, then he would probably become the worst person after Zhang Jian. In all likelihood, it will spread to the adult circle! However, if he chooses the second option, it would be like shooting himself in the foot.

While he mulls over the two destructive choices he has, Lu Chen glances at Ye Meixiu. The strained smile on her face, trying to hide her disappointment from him. Cracks start to form in Lu Chen's heart. How could you make your little sister sad, Lu Chen!

"Meixiu here, ahh." Lu Chen picks up a piece of his cake and moves it in front of her face. If he had to choose between making his sister cry or screwing over his plans, he would rather destroy the latter instead. I can just treat her as my little sister. That's much easier!

As he thought about how to improvise his plan, Ye Meixiu looks at him in silence. The next second tho, a large smile is on her face. Her thoughts went blank from Lu Chen's actions. Not letting this chance go, she quickly took a bite with her tiny mouth.

Lu Chen smiles at how cute Ye Meixiu's expression was as she ate it. Pff, she looks just like a cute chipmunk! He asks her, "Is it delicious?"

"Yes! It's really delicious!" Ye Meixiu nods her head quickly. However, Ye Meixiu isn't talking about the cake's flavor. She tasted something way better than any cake. Yes! I had an indirect kiss with my brother Chen! The taste of Lu Chen's saliva was the whole reason why she wanted him to feed him.

"But brother Chen, your hands were really shaky tho! I thought you were going to shove the cake up my nose." Ye Meixiu jokes.

Lu Chen's brows twitch when she jokes around like that. Yah brat! He already knew that his hand shook like a rocking boat. Even he thought he would have shoved it towards his eyes. Yet, he couldn't stop shaking. Just the thought of having an indirect kiss with Ye Meixiu is embarrassing. Curse my inability with women! I'm even having thoughts with my little sister!

Ye Meixiu couldn't help but laugh at Lu Chen's twisted expression. However, she didn't notice there's a bit of vanilla bean cream left beside her mouth. Lu Chen realizes it and chuckles at how child-like she is. Fine, two can play this game. He uses his thumb to wipe the cream off her face. Before she could ask, he licks it off his thumb.

"Bleh, it's pretty sweet." Without the bitterness from the coffee cake, the cream has an overpowering sweetness. Lu Chen sticks out his tongue from how sweet it was. But that isn't the main focus as he turns to Ye Meixiu, who's blushing like a bright apple. His actions were so sudden for her to react.

Lu Chen smiles. Gotcha. He knew Ye Meixiu wanted to make him embarrassed with that joke. He couldn't let it slide as he pulled this stunt to make her flustered as well.

Yet, Lu Chen doesn't realize the effects are much more powerful than he expects! Ye Meixiu felt she could faint at any moment.

"Brother Chen, that was unfair!" Ye Meixiu pouts at him for playing such a dirty move. On the inside, Ye Meixiu could feel her heart exploding in a few seconds. Seeing how Lu Chen is unconsciously following her plan is a godsend.

The crowd, on the other hand, is not happy at all. The two's stunts had made all of them want to gag. But they couldn't do anything about it as they continued to eat the dog food feeding down their throats.

As the two continued to talk, Lu Chen felt a killing intent coming straight towards his table! He immediately turns around to look at who would give off such a thick killing intent.

"Brother Chen, is something the matter?" Ye Meixiu looks at him in worry. The sudden change in his expression had surprised her.
