Lu Chen's eyes twitch from how relentless Ye Meixiu is at tutoring him. He immediately pinches Ye Meixiu's cheeks, "You brat! How could you talk to your older brother like that?!" It was out of embarrassment that he started to pinch the girl's cheeks. As he stretches the girl's cheeks, he begins to pull longer. Lu Chen became so immersed in his actions.
Her cheeks are so soft and smooth. What is with this softness?! Lu Chen starts comparing Ye Meixiu's cheeks to two round white mochis. The softness of her cheeks made Lu Chen smoosh her cheeks into different shapes. As he kept doing this, Lu Chen doesn't realize Ye Meixiu is making a pouting face.
"Uwuwuw, brother Chen! You can do whatever you want to my cheeks, but you cannot deny what I said is true! You can't hide, face facts." Ye Meixiu made a righteous face as if she is like a hero going against the demon lord.
Seeing how righteous Ye Meixiu's face was, Lu Chen chuckles. It confuses Ye Meixiu, but she felt a shutter as something horrible is about to happen. Lu Chen made a gentle smile, “You haven’t changed at all. You still can’t control how relentless you are when you talk to people who are close to you.”
"And brother Chen had always been the first person to give in when we were kids." Every time Ye Meixiu messed around with Lu Chen during their childhood, Lu Chen would be the first person to forgive her instantly. Well, with the help of her secret technique.
Hearing what she said, Lu Chen stops chuckling as he begins to smile like the devil, “Well, this is different now. This big brother here is fresh out of mercy!” He starts to stretch her cheeks even harder, trying to see how far her cheeks could go.

Ye Meixiu couldn't brace herself from the attack as Lu Chen's action was too quick. But the pain from the pinching got her out of the shock. She gives him a face full of determination, “I will never give in, brother Chen!”
The battle between the demon lord Lu Chen and the hero Ye Meixiu spanned for decades. Millions of lives were lost in that battle. However, the war was epic.
Just kidding, it only lasted for 10 minutes.
The car pulls up to the front of Ye Meixiu's home, yet the two continue their battle. Lu Chen didn't let go of Ye Meixiu's cheeks while Ye Meixiu continues to lightly jab at Lu Chen's side. If a random stranger is looking at the two, they'll think the two are little five-year-olds.
“Xiao Xiu, we are in front of your house.” Elder Wu is the one who broke the fight up. At first, he didn't want to. Having the two of them play-fight behind him, it felt like he's in the past again. But good things have to end.
Lu Chen let go of Ye Meixiu’s cheeks, and Ye Meixiu stops jabbing as she rubs her red cheeks.
“Elder Wu, thank you for driving me back.” Ye Meixiu bows towards Elder Wu. She turns to Lu Chen, who thought she's going to thank him as well. But the only thing he got from her is Ye Meixiu sticking her tongue at him. She immediately jumps out of the car before the stunned Lu Chen could retort to that.
That ungrateful brat! Gritting his teeth, Lu Chen yells out from the window, “You brat!! I should have let you walk the way home!”
Ye Meixiu laughs at how angry Lu Chen was and was about to go inside her home,

“Meixiu.” But Lu Chen suddenly calls out to her.
“Hmm? What is it, brother Chen?” Ye Meixiu turns around, wondering what Lu Chen’s going to say to her.
“See you at school tomorrow.” Lu Chen smiles as he rolls the window back, and the car begins to drive away.
Ye Meixiu gives a bright smile as she says lightly, “See you at school too, brother Chen,” and looks at the car driving away.

In the car, Lu Chen sighs as Elder Wu was driving back to the Lu manor and said,
“Elder Wu, just say whatever you want.” He could tell that Elder Wu will burst if he didn’t say anything.
