Chapter 51: An Older Brother
Many people already knew the Lu Corporation is one of the top influential forces in S city. Yet, due to Lu Chen’s new look, the students around him didn’t know who he was and are shocked by what he said.
Kiss my father’s position goodbye?
Gao Jinhai never expects that the person in front of him would say this to him. At first, Gao Jinhai didn't believe Lu Chen's words and thought he is just faking it. However, as he thought about how Lu Chen is consistently talking down to him the entire time, he starts to believe it. Even after his lackeys said his identity, Lu Chen still didn't care.
“You… who are you?” Gao Jinhai shivers in fear. The person that he thought of to be a peasant might be a wolf in disguise. Seeing how their boss is trembling, his lackeys knew they might have messed with somebody they shouldn't have.
“You don’t need to know. And you are not qualified to know. Now scram.” Lu Chen's tone is flat. However, it's like a deep dark abyss that cannot be fandom by ordinary people. The crowd looks at Lu Chen and then back to Gao Jinhai, wondering what Gao Jinhai will do.
Hearing Lu Chen continues to look down on him, Gao Jinhai wants to rip his mouth off. But seeing the indifferent gaze on the man's face, plus not knowing his background, made Gao Jinhai stop that train of thought. The only thing he could do now is grit his teeth. Gao Jinhai made the smart decision and walked away.
The crowd is stunned in silence for a few moments, and then they start to cheer at the sight of Gao Jinhai leaving. Gao Jinhai had always been flaunting his father’s influence over them like he was the one with the power. But finally, he has met his maker.

“Be quiet! This is a library!” Before the excitement could hit the maximum, it was quickly shut down by the scream of the librarian. The crowd immediately turns quiet as they didn’t want to leave the library and miss the sight of their angel.
Lu Chen turns around to Ye Meixiu, who was smiling at him. Seeing her smile, Lu Chen couldn’t help but scold her, “You little dummy. You should have just downright rejected him, instead of giving him so many random excuses.” Even though Lu Chen is lecturing Ye Meixiu, there is no anger in his voice. Instead, there is only worry. It sounds more like an older brother worrying if his little sister is injured or not.
“But even if I did reject classmate Gao, he would have continued to force himself on me in a more direct way, brother Chen.” Ye Meixiu starts to pout as she knew what type of person Gao Jinhai is, and she felt wrong being lectured by Lu Chen.
Lu Chen stops his lecturing and looks at her in surprise, “When did you notice it was me?” He’s surprised that Ye Meixiu can figure out it was him. Even if Lu Chen didn't know what Lu Chen look like with long hair, it doesn't change how age had affected his look. How he looked when he is a child was much different from how he looks now.
Ye Meixiu smiles as she explains, “Of course I knew it was brother Chen. Your voice and stature are really unique.”
How could you figure out it was me from just my voice? There were a dozen other male students in the lobby that had similar stature to him. So the only thing she could use to figure out who he was is from his voice, yet Ye Meixiu hasn’t talked to him in such a long time.

As Lu Chen was lost in his thought, Ye Meixiu pouts even more from how Lu Chen ignores her, “Brother Chen, why didn’t you say hi to me earlier.” She had already notice Lu Chen the moment he had walked back into the lobby with his books, and she had noticed that he knew who she was as well.
Yet, seeing how Lu Chen was continuing to read his book, not minding the problems she was facing with Gao Jinhai, made her feel indignant.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
