Chapter 50: Kiss my father’s position goodbye?

Silence. There is only silence filling the entire floor.

Gao Jinhai wasn't the only one in shock as the entire lobby is flabbergasted from what Lu Chen had said. Damn brother, I can't believe you have the guts to say that. The crowd knew that if they're in Lu Chen's position, their asses would have gotten beat by their parents for going against Gao Jinhai.

"Hehehe." But that doesn't mean they aren't allowed to laugh. Most of the male students felt Lu Chen's words hit the mark with Gao Jinhai.

"YOU!" Gao Jinhai's face turns red with shame. Never in his life has he been mocked like that. He glares viciously at Lu Chen. When he was about to retort,

"Do you know who he is? He's the son of the director of FX construction firm. You should know that it's one of the biggest firms in S city. Show him some respect."

Gao Jinhai was going to yell at his lackeys for interrupting him. But seeing how the two had introduced him properly, Gao Jinhai decides to let them off the hook. Then he turns to Lu Chen as he gives him a smug look. Since his lackey said his origins, he wonders how Lu Chen will appease his wraith.

Lu Chen turns to look at the two lackeys and then back to Gao Jinhai, “So behind the yapping dog, there are the ignorant dogs that blindly follow him because he can yap.”

“How much is your father paying these two to be your little hype men?” Yesterday, Lu Chen had studied the big firms in S city, how they structure their companies, and the children that go to First High. He already knew the two lackeys there were because of wanting to bootlick Gao Jinhai’s father.

Lu Chen looks back at the two lackeys, “You guys can do much better than having a boss like him.”

Gao Jinhai clenches his fist as he snaps back, “You better get down on your knees and beg for forgiveness, or else I’m gonna ask my father to make your life a living hell.”

Seeing Gao Jinhai abusing his father's name to scare off Lu Chen, the crowd looks at him with scorn. This time Ye Meixiu expression changes. She about to step in and interrupt this situation. But Lu Chen smiles at her, signaling to her that everything will be fine.

Ye Meixiu looks at how bright Lu Chen’s smile was, and a slight tint of red begins to form on her cheeks as she nods back at him.

Turning back to Gao Jinhai, Lu Chen continues, “ So not only are you a dog but now you’re a lowly mutt that only relies on others. Did you have your family jewels cut off or something, or are you just not born with them?” Those words were like a ticking time bomb that exploded at this moment.

“HOW DARE YOU TO SPEAK TO ME THAT WAY! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!” Gao Jinhai is madly enraged this time. Every single word that Lu Chen had said to him is to demean and ridicule him. Right now, Gao Jinhai wants to tear Lu Chen limb from limb for embarrassing him like this.

“Why should I give my name to a mutt like you.” Lu Chen said coldly, as he narrows his eyes at Gao Jinhai and his lackeys, “Now I’ll give you 10 seconds to scram or else.”

“Or else what?” Gao Jinhai wasn’t frightened by Lu Chen’s threat and continues to start down at him. He knew that if he walks away right now, then the entire school would know that he had run away like a coward to this unnamed student. It would destroy his reputation and pride.

"Then, your father can kiss his position goodbye." Lu Chen knew if he wants Gao Jinhai to scram, he will have to use his family's influence to destroy him. Using Lu Corporation’s authority, Lu Chen can force FX corporation’s board of directors to change Gao Jinhai’s father in a heartbeat easily.
