Chapter 43: Can I flip my table?

Goddamn, am I some sort of exotic animal that's being displayed for the first time! And why are there more people looking?! Lu Chen was about to explode as the gazes around him is multiplying. He wasn't going to stay here any longer. Lu Chen quickly walks to his classroom before the crowd can increase even further.

Lu Chen thought the classroom would be a safe house, but he is totally wrong. His classmates were also giving him a curious look. They wonder why this person is in their classroom. Is he a new transfer student or an exchange student?

Looking around the room, he spots Zhang Jian, who looks to be hitting on girls. But Zhang Jian became with the crowd as he stares at Lu Chen.

He walks up to Zhang Jian, "Morning buddy," and walks back to his seat.

"Yeah....morning." Out of reflex, Zhang Jian greets him back.

A few seconds later, Zhang Jian screams, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!" He couldn't believe how this student was so calm with him. It was like this is a daily occurrence for him.

Lu Chen raises his brows, "Don't you know me, Zhang Jian?"

"Why should I know a person that is only half as good-looking at me?" Zhang Jian retorts with a narcissistic compliment. He thought he would look good by showing off to the girls around him by looking so confident. But instead, the girls look at him like he had a few screws loose.

How could you be so egotistical? The man in front of you is clearly 10 times more handsome than you. All the girls wonder how Zhang Jian has the guts to say that. There's confidence, and then there's foolishness.

"...Dumbass." Lu Chen didn't care about what he said as he took out a book to read, ignoring the flabbergasted Zhang Jian.

'You!" Before Zhang Jian could retort at Lu Chen, Xiao Lao Shi walks into the room.

"Students, take your seats."

As the students took their seats, Xiao Lao Shi looks around the room, checking if anybody was absent. But then his eyes focus on Lu Chen.

Did we get a new transfer student? Why didn't anyone tell me about it? Xiao Lao Shi didn't know who this new student was, but he knew what he had to do as he said,

"The student whos sitting in seat number 36. Please leave that seat. Another student sits there."

Xiao Lao Shi knew with Lu Chen's rotten personality, he will definitely make a fuss. And the amount of bother is too annoying. Xiao Lao Shi didn't want to get into an altercation this early in the morning.

Lu Chen didn't expect that Xiao Lao Shi wouldn't be able to recognize him. Sitting in his seat is a clear giveaway of who he is. He scratches his head, "But Xiao Lao Shi, this is my seat tho."

"No, it's not. Student Lu Chen sits there."

Can I flip my desk? Lu Chen was about to go crazy from how much people couldn't recognize him. Giving them a wry smile, Lu Chen explains, " Xiao Lao Shi, I'm Lu Chen."

"What?!" Xiao Lao Shi wasn't the only person that got surprised by his statement. The other students were making an uproar as well.

This is going to be a long day. Lu Chen sighs in his heart.

"Xiao Lao Shi, I just had a haircut yesterday." Lu Chen explains. But the student is still in shock at how much of a difference Lu Chen looks now.

"Cough. I'm sorry, student Lu Chen. You can sit back down now." Xiao Lao Shi looks embarrassed as he felt bad for calling out Lu Chen by accident.

Sitting back down, Lu Chen went back to listening to the lecture. Even though he is listening to the class, the other students couldn't focus and were staring at him instead. Some of there whispers,

"Is that really Lu Chen?"

"So behind all of that hair is a crazy sexy adonis."

"So what if he is good-looking. His personality is still shit."

“But, I got to admit, he’s super sexy tho~.”

“He may even more handsome than Zhang Jian and Long Shen.”

“Lu Chen is definitely more handsome than Zhang Jian. But we need Long Shen here to compare the two.”
