Chapter 37: Innocence
Lu Chen hands the clerk a 500 yuan bill. When the clerk gave back his change, she also slips in a piece of paper with it.
He is the most handsome person I ever met. The clerk's eyes shown with greed as she had to shoot her shots with this good-looking man. She thought Lu Chen would get the signal with just the slip of paper. But Lu Chen looks at her in confusion. Why are you slipping something with my change? This is the first time somebody was hitting him like this. There was no discreet in his actions as he opens the piece of paper in front of everyone. There was a giant heart with a phone number on it, and next to it said, "Call me."
Looking back at the clerk, she blushes from embarrassment at how Lu Chen opens it up in front of her colleagues. But she was still giving him a passionate gaze, signaling him for an answer.
Lu Chen blushes instead. This was the first time a female had ever given him a notice during these years. He didn't know what to do to her. He coughs slightly and turns to Elder Wu, "Elder Wu, let us leave now." Lu Chen quickly rushes out of the shop before Elder Wu could say anything to him.
Elder Wu and the other customers spectating this scene couldn't help but laugh. Some of the clerk's colleagues were comforting her. But the clerk couldn't help but remember the image of Lu Chen blushing.
Aww, he's so pure.
...
In the car, Lu Chen is still blushing from the letter he got from the clerk. He didn't expect he would get hit on this quickly. Besides this, he has no experience with stuff like this. Lu Chen's entire life was solely revolved around Liu Fei Fei's life. So he never looked at any other woman besides her. The sudden move from the clerk was like giving a caveman technology for the first time.

While driving the car, Elder Wu was looking at Lu Chen through the rearview mirror. He couldn't help but sigh in tiredness from how giddy Lu Chen looks from one confession.
Young master's face looks just like sirs. No, it might be even more handsome than him. Heh, those days were the most tiresome. Elder Wu starts to reminisce about his past adventures between him and Lu Chen's grandfather. However, he couldn't help but feel pity for Lu Chen. Young master is going to have a lot of trouble with women.
Elder Wu ponders on what to do to prevent anything "bad" from happening to Lu Chen. While that was happening, Lu Chen asks him, "Elder Wu, what do I do with her phone number?"
What? How should I know? Elder Wu looks at him in confusion, "What do you mean, young master?" It was pretty obvious what Lu Chen had to do. So Elder Wu is confused as to why he needed to ask him.
The number of options going through Lu Chen's mind was endless. He lists them, " Should I call her, text her, or should I just throw the number away?"
Elder Wu didn't really care what Lu Chen would do with the phone number as long as he doesn't take it too far with it. He said, "The clerk gave you the phone number, so you can do whatever you want as long as it's within boundaries, young master."
"What do I say to her?" Lu Chen didn't understand how to interact with a girl. He was too lost in thought that he said the question out loud.
Naturally, Elder Wu heard it. His brows started to twitch from how pure Lu Chen is.
If he had to describe Lu Chen right now with girls; he has the purity of a baby. The amount of interaction with other girls is so low that he could be considered an endangered species.

And his reaction towards females could be an even bigger problem. Elder Wu begins to shake his head, remembering how Lu Chen was blushing towards a simple phone number.
The limousine begins to close up to the gates of the Lu Manor. Alright, better ask this now. Lu Chen thought as determination is in his eyes. He asks, "Elder Wu, could you train me?"

As an author, I'd like to interact with my community and get ideas and what I can improve on. I'm not perfect and don't expect a masterpiece. I may have a bit of experience writing as a hobby, I make mistakes and my style is a bit rough around the edges. I hope you stick around and watch me build this story up. I don't have a predetermined schedule and the releases will be slow. Since I got college, my schedule is most likely 1-2 chapters a month but that shouldn't be that bad since I get some time to think about what I can write in the story. Again, my apologies for that. I hope I have your support moving forward and that you enjoy the characters and their journies.
