Chapter 8: School Part 2

Yesterday, when the bell rang for lunch, Lu Chen got out of his seat and brought with him two huge three-layered lunch boxes. When Zhang Jian saw the two lunch boxes, he went in front of him, blocking his path.

Zhang Jian tries to stop him, “Brother Chen, stop going to Liu Fei Fei. She made it clear she doesn’t like you.”

“This time, it’s different. I have everything prepared perfectly prepared. I got this, relax.” Lu Chen confidently said as he walks out.

Zhang Jian bangs his head on the wall at how ignorant his friend was at his crush’s feelings.

Love really does make you blind and stupid.

As Lu Chen walks into the other classroom, the students there were sighing or looking at him with pity or annoyance.

“Oh, no. Mophead Lu is here again.”

“What is our goddess going to do to him this time.”

“This time, the idiot is carrying two lunchboxes with him. Oh, this is going to be a good one today.”

Lu Chen ignores what the students talk about him and walks towards Liu Fei Fei, “ Fei Fei, would you like to have lunch with me? I made you lunch with all of your favorite foods.”

Are you an idiot? Liu Fei Fei rolls her eyes at Lu Chen as she refuses him, “Lu Chen, how many times do I have to tell you, stop bothering me.”

It seems that Lu Chen didn’t even listen to what Liu Fei Fei said as he gave a look of determination, “ Fei Fei, I won’t give up until you have at least one date with me.” He knew that if Liu Fei Fei gave him a chance to prove himself to her, then she would definitely choose him over others.

Liu Fei Fei’s eyebrows twitch, scaring the other students that were looking at the two. She starts pinch between her brows, “ Just stop, Lu Chen, you already know that I have a boyfriend, and you continue to pester me, stop being shameless.”

When Liu Fei Fei talks about Long Shen, Lu Chen snarls at her a bit, “Fei Fei, what is so great with that dirty commoner.” Lu Chen’s words made the other students look at him with disgust.

Yes, Long Shen was a commoner in terms of status with the other students, but it doesn’t mean that Lu Chen could berate him like that.

And the person that got pissed the most was Liu Fei Fei. Long Shen was Liu Fei Fei’s last straw. Her eyes turn cold as she viciously stares at Lu Chen, “Lu Chen, I’m warning you, don’t you dare talk about Long Shen like that,” she turns to the two lunch boxes on the table.“

She turns to the two lunch boxes on the table, “ I’ll tell you this, Lu Chen. You're a rat. why would I eat something that a rat would eat.” Liu Fei Fei opens up one of the lunchboxes and begins to pour the contents onto Lu Chen’s head, and threw the box to the floor as she threatens, “Lu Chen, you are a rat, know your place!” Liu Fei Fei begins to walk out of the classroom, leaving Lu Chen covered in food.

Zhang Jian came walking in, but when he saw that Liu Fei Fei had already walked out of the classroom, he knew that the damage was done. He walks in, and his eyes turn wide as he never expected Liu Fei Fei to be this angry.

The students start to laugh and murmur while pointing at Lu Chen, and Zhang Jian glares at them, “What are you looking at, scram! ” The students were afraid of Zhang Jian’s gaze as they look away from them.

Zhang Jian walks up to Lu Chen,” Brother Chen, are you-” Before he could say anything else, Lu Chen ran out of the room before Zhang Jian could react.
