With no sense of time, days flew by in the Phoenix dark space. During this time, Luke and Cang Yue, besides a few times for chatter, stayed focused on cultivating.

Their minds and bodies were at one with each other, allowing for extreme rates of progression.

And throughout this whole time, neither had let go of each other's hands.

Currently, after what seemed like a long week, Luke was finally nearing the edge to where his soul could go now. From the intense fights and passionate soul mark connection, it brought him to his last breakthrough of the week.

His bright blue lightning aura oozed out in small parts of his body like sparks of thunder. This was signifying his near-completed cultivation.

Similarly, for Cang Yue, she was nearing the edge of her final breakthrough. All in her mind, the sophisticated and elegant text of the World Ode of The Phoenix swirled.

Beautiful Phoenix flames burst out of her like a mesmerizing dance. Her flames tangled with Luke's lightning smoothly, neither one's aura disrupting.

It was like they were two halves of one person and then,

'Bang!'

Their auras erupted in a frantic frenzy!

Blue lightning and purple soul spirit power spewed out of Luke with the same tenacity as a roaring tornado!

And this crazed aura was only matched by the ferocious and powerful Phoenix flame of Cang Yue!

Luke had finally advanced to the ninth level of the True Profound realm and broke through to the late stage of his purple soul Spirit Power.

Cang Yue was just as dazzling as she made it to the tenth stage of the True Profound Realm, the peak of the realm! And as well, her Phoenix flames became even smoother control.

"You know I thought sessions like this would be a bit of a drag. But not only does breaking through feels great. I also get to share it with a lovely Phoenix maiden."

Once breaking through, Luke cracked his neck to sort all of his kinks. And he, of course, didn't forget to boldly comment to Cang Yue while doing it.

"That, you do raise a good point, Luke. Cultivation like this is quite dull. But together, it's almost making we want to stay like this just a little longer.~"

The mesmeric voice of Cang Yue soothed into his ears as she rolled her neck too.

"Is that so? As great that would be, we have some...important business to take care of outside. Though I can't help but notice, you're becoming a bit bolder, aren't you?"

Indeed whenever they talk now, Cang Yue would have a hypnotic angelic teasing voice.

Nearly at times, Luke almost fell under her enchanting charms. Still, because of his soul, he naturally never lost control in any conversations.

"Fufufu~. Is that so?" Was all Cang Yue said to him while she didn't feel much different.

After the Phoenix transformation, it was like a subtle change that happened in her mind. She just wanted to express herself more to Luke and was coming to accept her growing attaching feelings.

No matter what, she didn't have doubts about her actions anymore.

Luke just smirked since he knew he couldn't get her to explain more in-depth once she got like this.

The duo, for the first time in a while, got up on their feet. Letting each other's hands go, they felt somewhat of a loss, though, the new sensation they felt distracted them.

Their bodies felt tremendously more powerful! It was like night and day compared to when they first enter the trials.

Cang Yue's eyes lit up in glorious Phoenix flames as she said,

"Luke, watch this!"

Moving away from Luke, Cang Yue ignited her whole body in a luxurious Phoenix flame aura!

'Whir!'

And opening her palm, a grand orange-red lotus appeared on her hand!

The lotus was luxuriously dazzling, and its mere aura managed to raise the temperature to crazed degrees. Luke even felt beads of sweat pouring down his face!

"This is the first stage of the Phoenix, Phoenix Flaming Lotus!"

With a snap of her hands, the lotus disappeared. The awe-inspiring power she could now wield was already proven by the mere existence of the lotus.

And this time, Cang Yue held both of her hands out. The fire burned the most intensely around her hands, and she willed two oranged-red feathers to appear out of thin air.

'Whir!'

In a glorious scene, the feathers had then burst into grand Phoenix flames! The transformation was instant as two bright Phoenix arrows hover over Cang Yue's palms.

"The second stage of the Phoenix, Phoenix Arrow!"

For this stage, Luke felt the temperature, somehow, increased again. Furthermore, the real prowess of Cang Yue was no longer the same.

'She actually experienced such a shift that her aura now matches a peak Spiritual Xiantian cultivator?!' Luke exclaimed with shock in his mind.

Through his battles, Luke now has the general feel of tiers of power going up to the Sky Lord realm. And right in front of him, Luke just witnessed the birth of another Heaven-defying genius.

With another snap of her finger, the Phoenix arrows disappeared. Cang Yue still felt like this was a dream…

Despite having decent enough talent, she never thought that she'd surpass even the most ordinary of geniuses. Much less, making it to powerful realms like the Sky Lord level.

Yet she accepted it and accepted the role she was born into.

But now? The power she feels, the sensations she has are entirely out of this world!

Her eyes started to fill with gratitude, affection, and fondness all at once, looking into Luke's calming eyes.

Luke stopped himself once the blissful soft body of Cang Yue wrapped him up in a lovely hug.

"Thank you, Luke…" She simply said with a blossoming smile that would cause the world to shine brighter.

Luke smiled himself, hugged her back and said,

"No need to thank me. I was just the jump start that led you to become the maiden you always were."

Her words caused joy and warmth to bloom in her chest. With the way things were proceeding, she couldn't help but ask a specific question in her mind.

Breaking off from the hug, Cang Yue said,

"After all this is done...do you and the others have any specific place you were going to?" There was little doubt in her mind Luke could take on the black demon group.

She knew if he couldn't, then he would be in a more severe state and wouldn't so casually talk about them as only important business.

"No, not really...why? Have something in mind?" Luke held a knowing smile, guessing on the look on her face.

Sighing out, Cang Yue shook her head and said,

"Oh my, you probably already know where this is heading. But...if you and the other girls would like to, you can come with me to the Imperial capital. I have deep connections that can get you four into the Seven Wind Profound Palace."

Cang Yue was smiling on the outside, but on the inside, she was a bit nervous.

She wasn't sure how Luke would react if he revealed her whole origin, and she could never know if they simply have no interest in the Palace.

Although the charming, reassuring smile Luke sent to her, did give her a piece of mind.

"Really now? You know, we were planning on visiting the Imperial Capital sometime in the future. And going with you would make this experience infinitely better."

Cang Yue felt giddy inside hearing his agreement, but she kept it calm, flashing him a teasing smile.

"You can never hold back on buttery words, can you? Fufufu~, I'll be sure to make the journey worthwhile then~."

"Are you two prepared?" When Cang Yue finished talking, the Divine Phoenix Spirit suddenly called out to them.

Throughout this whole time, the Phoenix Spirit was silently watching and founded as a good time than ever to intervene.

Luke and Cang Yue weren't too bothered by the Phoenix's sudden appearance this time. Though they did wish they were alone.

"Yep, we're all done here, Senior Divine Phoenix."

The Phoenix Spirit began to lit up a bit, and it said,

"Xureuo, once you master the first and second stage, you can begin to work on the third stage. I shall open the way to leave now...and when you make it as far as you can. Come see me in the future for a gift."

Luke and Cang Yue were feeling the anticipation of finally leaving! Yet, they did wonder just what sort of gift could this Phoenix have?

"I can't believe it's been a week already! At this rate, Luke and Xureuo truly will spend a month in the trial." The usual bubbly voice of Lingxi now had a hint of tiredness.

Only a few feet away from the Phoenix cave, Lingxi, Qingyue, and Andrea were sitting alone together.

Like Feng Baichun said, he gathered all of the clansmen into the Phoenix ruins after Andrea's vision.

And he did it right on time too as the black demon group was already nearing the village. It was a narrow escape, but he managed to convince the other and led them into the ruins.

The black demon group tried to break the Spirit Formation seal but failed under repeated attempts. With no other options, the demon group retreated to think things out and wait for any of the Phoenix members to come out.

The boss of their group was hell-bent on getting them since this is where the youths' delicious blood and the Phoenix blood are,

All of it led to this dead stalemate, with the Phoenix clansmen getting increasingly worried. Feng Baichun told them they could ask for their Phoenix God protection, but only after a month passes.

The Phoenix clansman had then realized the one that made their Phoenix God come out were the ones in the trial!

Qingyue and Lingxi did go out to see the Phoenix clansman a couple of times, but they mainly focused on cultivation. Andrea didn't really bother at all and invested all of her time in breaking through.

This dedication proved to be useful since they all experience significant advancement.

Lingxi manages to cross the True Profound realm threshold and step into the Spiritual Xiantian realm!

Qingyue was similarly excellent; she was nearing the peak of the Spiritual Xiantian realm being a ninth level Xiantian.

Andrea was the quickest as she made it to the ninth level of the True Profound realm and advanced to the late stage of her purple soul Spirit Power!

Currently, Lingxi and Qingyue were regularly chatting with each other while Andrea still had her eyes closed.

"It's good they are taking this much time, Lingxi. With Luke's incredible rate we'll have a mu-"

"Oh? Done already?"

Andrea cut off Qingyue when she abruptly opened her eyes and stared into the seal cave.

The girls didn't have time to question what when,

'RUMBLE!!'

The whole ruins quaked with ferocious intensity!

"What's going on?!?"

"Is it Phoenix God?!?"

From nearby, the girls heard the confused shout of the Phoenix clansman. But their eyes stayed glued on the cave.

Swiftly, the Phoenix cave opened up and out came walking, where two extraordinary youths.

Lingxi and Qingyue stood up in blaring excitement!

Not having Luke for a week made them realize just how warm and good he made both girls feel. With each other, their souls still soothed, but nothing could ever compare to Luke.

Which is why Lingxi was the first to passionately say,

"Luke!!"

Immediately she ran up to Luke with swift speeds. Just as he got out of the cave, Lingxi threw herself into his arms like a loving girlfriend.

Catching Lingxi, Luke missed her divine scent and the soft elastic feel of her modest breast. Most of all, her cute face was a sight he never got tired of seeing.

Lingxi face had blossomed into sun lighting smiles. She clung on to the left side of Luke's neck, giving his cheek a blissful peck and said,

"Qingyue, are you not coming?"

Behind them, Qingyue was in a small dilemma because it was a bit embarrassing. But hearing Lingxi called to her, she made up her mind.

Swift like the wind, she flashed over to Luke.

"You're finally back..."

On Luke's right side Qingyue cutely wrapped around him with a beautiful smile that blended in together with Lingxi's sweet smile.

And gathering up her courage, Qingyue also gave Luke a swift peck on the cheek.

Qingyue's addicting lips and her heavenly scent was also something Luke equally miss along with the soft squishy feel of her body.

Luke, all the while, was very attentive and didn't forget about Cang Yue, who he could sense was feeling a bit left out.

He ignited his hand in soul power, and from his fingertip, a small blue lightning bind slithered over Cang Yue's hand and pulled her a bit closer.

"Ah?"

Looking at her hand, Cang Yue was a bit surprised. She knew that his girlfriend would take priority, but this small gesture sent waves of warmth and joy in his chest.

A smile bud on her face, and she felt a step closer to him.

This only proves he was attentive to her slight feeling of being left out. And smiling to Qingyue and Lingxi, Luke said,

"A perfect way to be greeted back..."
