Cang Yue fluttery broke off from Luke's face with a scarlet look of her own. While her hand didn't let go of Luke's, she did shoot her head to the ground, obviously too embarrassed to meet the divine Phoenix eyes.

"Ah...Senior Divine Phoenix, I didn't think you would come for us so early." Luke, however, kept a natural professional tone. Though he was slightly grinding his teeth from the sudden interruption.

Just only one second, and he would have felt bliss…

"In my countless years, only a few managed to pass my trials this quickly and with relative ease. But would I rarely encounter one who would have as pure of characters such as yourself."

Currently, the three were still in the white space, though, Luke and Cang Yue's copies had disappeared.

The Phoenix eyes had slight astonishment in them watching the duo awkward faces. Even for the rarest and talented of geniuses, nobody would be safe from a negative in character.

Yet these two souls represented everything about them. A pure soul that can never be tainted by mortal hands!

"We thank Senior Divine Phoenix for the praise." Luke could still relish that Cang Yue was holding his hand, so he wasn't too upset now.

Luke and Cang Yue had to close their eyes for a second from the brief flashy show. And opening it up, the two notice they were back in silent black space.

"For flawlessly passing a far more difficult version of my trials, as promised before, I will grant Xueruo with one drop of Phoenix blood and Phoenix heart blood. Along with this, you will also receive a Divine Phoenix pellet, which will increase your cultivation after infusing with my bloodline. And lastly, you will have a month to cultivate the Phoenix arts, World Ode of The Phoenix."

At first, Luke and Cang Yue were happy to hear that she would receive such rewards. But then they realized they would be stuck here for a whole month!

The dark space was lit up like a sun thanks to her. Moreover, watching Cang Yue, who closed her eyes during this process, made even Luke stunned by this sudden transformation.

The paramount thing he had to do was let go of Cang Yue's hand and back up. Her body, quite obviously, dramatically increased in temperature!

Luke could confidently say even without his blue lightning aura, his body alone can handle fiery heat. But Cang Yue was now on a whole other level.

Furthermore, the changing appearance of Cang Yue left the boy in small awe.

Already before, Cang Yue could be considered a top beauty anywhere on the continent. But now, under the bloodline transformation, her appeal started to enhance.

There was something otherworldly to her appearance now. Her gorgeous face became even more radiant under the luxurious Phoenix flames. Her natural, elegant charm flourished like flowering roses.

However, unknown to the Phoenix Spirit and Luke, a massive change took place in Cang Yue's soul.

Like Spooky said before, the Phoenix bloodline would jump-start her soul to fully awaken.

But something that would even be unexpected for her was taking place.

The crackling lightning soul mark began to shine! A spectacular mix of Phoenix flames and a stunning white color soared all throughout Cang Yue's soul.

And on the outside, a blinding white flash assaulted Luke and the Divine Phoenix Spirit eyes!

'This...this aura! I-it can't be?! Over millennia of years, but now suddenly someone like this also appears?!' The Divine Phoenix mind was rocked once again by not Luke but Cang Yue…

Readjusting his eyes after the light went down, Luke found the graceful Cang Yue pleasantly smiling at him.

To her more attention-grabbing white-orange mixed eyes that suck your soul into her. The fantastic slight upgrade to her exquisite face, which now had gained a hint of bewitching.

And the delicate charm of hers that was only amplified, Luke had to say, there must not be a limit to a woman's beauty!

"Hm? Is there something on my face?" Luke said with a smirk since Cang Yue just didn't take her eyes off from him.

"Oh, it's nothing~. My eyes have just really been open. Senior Divine Phoenix?" The pair of divine eyes on her was giving Cang Yue an odd feeling. It was like she was some sort of new experiment to the Divine Phoenix.

"It's nothing. Now that you officially inherited my legacy, I will grant you the divine Phoenix pellet and our Phoenix arts." Without a change of tone or a hint of emotion, the Phoenix Spirit willed two items to appear.

One was a small red pellet that exuded extreme fire. And the other was a jade tablet that its mere appearance would burn your eyes.

Once again, the items sailed to Cang Yue, who promptly caught both of them. In her hands, each item gave her a warm, soothing feeling that coarse through her mind.

'Luke, before she starts to cultivate, hold her hand. You can speed up this process and won't even need a month to leave this place. Plus, our power will also receive a big boost.'

Spooky informed Luke, who already began walking up towards Cang Yue. As he did, the Divine Phoenix said,

"For one month, you must study the World Ode of The Phoenix up to the second stage. Any other further stage wouldn't be much of help to you now."

As the Phoenix Spirit explained, that overwhelming aura from earlier still ranged in the back of its mind.

Though at this point in her cultivation, it was far too early to tell for sure…

"Say, before you do start, want to cultivate through our soul link? You already saw what we can do in combat, just imagine how regularly cultivating would go!"

Luke offered when the Phoenix finished explaining. He was expectantly holding out his hand to her, making Cang Yue teasingly smile.

"I was expecting you to try something like this. But our results can't be denied...alright, shall we push our mark to the next level then~?" More than ever, Luke noticed Cang Yue had a far more enchanting charm when talking.

It was like she was becoming more natural with her real self. Plus, Cang took a free hand of hers and unhesitatingly interlocks with Luke's hand.

"Fufu~, it is a part of my Phoenix origins. But...I am feeling something..." Swiftly as she said it, Cang Yue put the Divine Phoenix pellet in her mouth.

Through the use of Essence energy, she guided the pellet down to her dantians, which roared in frantic excitement.

All the heat in her body was perfectly accumulating and quickly pushing her dantian to the next levels.

"I trust you won't get bored while I'm cultivating?" Taking out the World Ode of The Phoenix tablet, Cang Yue was looking over to Luke and asking.

"I too have plenty of things to cultivate on. Besides, in this position, it'll be like I'm right there reading with you."

While the two were joyfully talking, the Divine Phoenix Spirit now concentrated on Luke.

Initially, while Cang Yue cultivated, it was planning to give Luke a special gift to cultivate. However, it appears it'll have to do it when they're in the middle of practice.

At this point, it was as if the two truly became in sync.

'How devilish, not much time has passed, yet these two are making repeated breakthroughs. It's time to test.' The Phoenix Spirit watching had suddenly willed an extraordinary drop of blood to appear while its eye flared up!

Invisible to the eyes, and only the Divine Phoenix can see, a unique power slithered its way into the unknowing Cang Yue's soul.

And for the blood, if the duo were to see this, their jaws would surely drop.

This blood was far fiercer and exuded a more significant presence than the previous droplets of blood! In every aspect, this single blood drop can absolutely transform anybody with even ordinary talent.

Quickly by the will of the Phoenix, the blood drop shot towards Luke. And the reaction the Phoenix Spirit was hoping to see... didn't come.

Moreover, something out of its vision happens.

The supreme Phoenix blood drop crashed into Luke's chest, yet it couldn't go into his body. It was like some invisible force halted the blood.

And for the most shocking thing to happen so far. A skinny blue beam oozed out of Luke's chest and wrapped the blood drop up.

Furthermore, the blood dropped appeared to be....shaking?

The Phoenix Spirit couldn't tell for sure since the beam swiftly pulled the blood drop inside Luke. And besides a slight shake of his eyebrow, Luke barely reacted at all.

'Not only his soul...the law of fire would come here more naturally if he so chose to cultivate it. But, just what is he? His bloodline negated changing him into a Phoenix one, and he's for sure...not human…'

The Phoenix Spirit sighed in its mind. Luke could only generate questions and questions, but he seems like a bottomless pit with no answer.
