In the same moving pace as Luke, Andrea held out her sword towards him, proclaiming,

"My great breakthrough? I think I'm already there, little Luke!"

The outburst of two prowess rivaling the Spiritual Xiantian realm quake everything inside their barrier! Their soul powers amplified their auras to unimaginable degrees!

Black lightning crazily spewed out of Andrea in a terrifying motion. In contrast to Luke, her lightning exuded a daunting pressure. It carried a presence similar to what one called a black demonic figure!

Around her body, just like Luke, her black lightning formed a lightning aura. But while Luke's lightning swayed in a graceful appeal that pulled all of your attention into him. Andrea lightning crazily waved in a constant pattern, of which it'll cause fear by just looking at it.

To top it all of, Andrea's face plaster a sinister smile!

Her mind wasn't influenced at all by Yurei, and she was in complete control over her power. Compare to Luke, she mainly spent all of her time alone besides that one incident with Lingxi.

And it more than shows how it affected her mental state since her presence now could cause a lot more fear than Luke will ever be able to pull off in his uncontrollable curse state.

However, even with Andrea's dramatic change in bearing and becoming ten times more fearful, Luke still held the kindest smile towards her. To him, all he saw was his beloved cousin, who finally found a passion in her life!

"Wow! Didn't you say this will be your first time? This is really impr-"

Luke suddenly cut himself short himself as he saw Andrea abruptly sprint towards him! Her speed far surpassed anything she ever has done before, and it would only take a few seconds to reach Luke.

Although Luke wasn't the type to just stand around!

After adjusting his aura a bit to match Andrea, he blasted off like a blue lightning ball to meet the black lightning, Andrea!

'CLANG!'

Luke's blue lightning axe, and Andrea's black lightning sword clashed with enough force that the ground broke apart beneath them! Their lightning clashed with each other in an elegant dance, creating a spectacular blue and black lightning mix.

Blue eyes met black eyes, and on Luke's face was a warming but excited smile, showing his thirst for battle. Although Andrea's smile was getting more feral as her viciousness was slipping out a bit.

Both cousin's bodies fell into a high adrenaline state, and while Luke's body didn't match the first time he used this form, Andrea's body nearly matched it!

"Well then, Luke, it seems like your perception hasn't dull! But even if you're at a higher level, do you think you can keep up with me?" Andrea expressed no wariness at all over Luke's level.

It wasn't arrogance, she was just that confident to quickly match his level.

"Oh Andy, even as children, we always fight with each other. So I'm pretty sure I can keep up with you." Luke said back, wanting to see the limit of his cousin now.

"Is that so?"

Shifting her body weight, Andrea put more strength in her sword and swiped off Luke's axe with an upward strike!

The strike nearly knocked him off balance, but Luke maintain his posture. Swiftly he jumped back, still holding on to his axe and a dark lightning sword came flying at him!

Andrea threw the sword with precise control and accuracy!

If it was any other early level Spiritual Xiantian cultivator, they would've felt small in the face of the sword. Their minds would've crumble, and fear would've taken over.

Yet in the face of the sword, Luke used a split second to bat away the sword at inconceivable speed!

Landing on the ground from his small jump, Luke knew Andrea wasn't foolish enough to just throw away her weapon. And seeing Luke not rushing up to attack, got Andrea to smile.

"Well, well, only two moves exchanged, and I'm already this excited little Luke!" Snapping her fingers, her sword came flying back into hands like a magnetic pull!

"So it's like that! I had a feeling you were trying to pull something like that." Luke remarked and thought, maybe I could do this too...

"Curse Chain!"

In response to Luke, Andrea unleashed multiple black lightning chains from the tip of her sword. She had recalled Yurei words about using her mind when fighting to create attacks leading to this one.

The black lightning chains shot out with ferocious tenacity!

Streaks of black lightning constantly flashed out from the chains into the surrounding environment. And as well the power of this attack could even destroy any first-level Spiritual Xiantain realm easily!

"Soul Lightning!"

To counter it, Luke imagined bindings strings and, from the tip of his axe, shot out blue lightning binds. His lightning binds carried a calm aura, and they all wrapped around Andrea's chains.

Andrea was surprised!

Not because of Luke's attack but because she couldn't move her sword at all!

To this, it was evident who had the stronger soul as of now. Yet Andrea smile only grew more savage as she felt her body flare-up, and more adrenaline pumped her veins.

Her soul was frantically stirring from trying to fight of Luke's bind, and the Nascent essence energy in the air was slowly coming towards her.

Yurei realized what was going on fused with her Spirit Sense and guided the Nascent essence energy to her dantian, which was as large as Luke's.

From the first level to the second and the third level!

'Pa!'

At the third level, Andrea forcefully broke through Luke's binds as their power cancel each other out. And still, in her high rush, Andrea blasted to Luke like a hawk!

Plus, her level didn't stop increasing as well...

Fourth level Nascent Origin!

'CLANG!'

They collided once again, and Luke realized he needs to increase his soul power once again. Dirt and leaves flew up around them in chaos as their incredible power battled against each other.

Andrea exerted more force on her sword as she tried pushing down Luke's axe and,

Fifth level Nascent Origin!

Luke feeling the increased pressure, finally unleashed the full extent of his strength! The ground cracked like spider webs beneath him, and Luke flung off Andrea by swiping his axe in a circle motion.

Andrea manage to flip herself in mid-air only to see Luke jumping right above her. His blue lightning dazzle like sunlight and holding up his axe he prepared to strike down Andrea!

'Bang!'

Sixth level Nascent Origin!

Akin to a gunshot going off, Andrea finally stepped right into the sixth level. Smiling viciously, her black lightning sizzled like a demon from hell as she grips her sword to clash against Luke!

Luke was now assured she would be able to take this full power strike once sensing her level. He didn't really want to hit her that hard, but now that she was at his level, he held no worries.

In a flash, blue lightning axe and black lightning sword met each other and,

'BOOOM!!'

A blue-black lightning explosion sent the cousins flying in the opposite direction! Luke nearly crashed up in their barrier before smacking hard into the ground.

While Andrea got planted six feet under into the ground from her position.

Luke was feeling pain, but above all else, he felt tremendously enthusiastic and satisfied. An explosion like that would've destroyed everything in its radius in his original world, but here he survived with only some lasting pain!

"Well, god damn! You really are something, Luke!"

Andrea crawled out of her hole, sitting upon the ground. She, too, was feeling pain but a lot of excitement from their battle.

"See? I told you that it would be great!" Sitting up himself, Luke suddenly felt his soul stir! His body was frantically pumping, and once again, Spooky infused with his Spirit Sense.

Nascent essence energy flowed into him like water into his enormous dantian and then,

'Ka-Cha!

Like glass shattering in his body, Luke made it to the seventh level of Nascent Origin! He was happy, but also a bit confused.

'Ok, you need to explain to me how my body works, Spooky, but first...'

"Eh? You honestly advanced again? This surely means you're up for another round?" Andrea challenged while standing up.

Luke as well stood up, stretching out his arms saying,

"Sure, but after this, let's go back to the inn, we still have other things to talk about."

As if Luke given the signal, Andrea blasted off to him without a second notice. Luke couldn't help but wryly smile since it seems like his cousin is even a bit more eager than he is.

"Phew...now that was a better workout, unlike anything else!" Andrea tiredly said as she relaxed on her bed.

"It sure was, and we also gain quite a lot from fighting." Luke also remarked, relaxing on his bed too. As it stands right now, both cousins had broke through to the eighth level of Nascent Origin!

From fighting all out, their soul was continuously improving, and it stirs their bodies to breakthrough. Although they didn't feel a big rush from their souls at the eighth level, they were still happy with their progress.

Spooky had also explained to him their cultivation relies heavily on their souls, and the stronger they temper their souls, the faster they can breakthrough! And one of the main ways to do this was to fight adrenaline-pumping battles where they push themselves to the limit.

It tempers their wills, strengthens their souls, and also helps refine their bodies.

At their levels, Luke reckon they could even fight against peak Spiritual Xiantian cultivators!

"So, where is the next place you want to go? I assume Lingxi will be joining us too?" Andrea reminded Luke, and he pulled out the map from his ring.

"Yep, I'm pretty sure I can convince her to go with us. As for the next stop, we'll be heading to Azure Dragon city. I don't think I ever heard of this place before, but it's the closes to Floating Cloud City. Plus, in it, there's this Azure Dragon palace I'm sure we gain some valuable experiences over there."

"Hm? Are you not planning on joining the palace. You said it yourself places like these are a good place to get stronger."

And Andrea would be still right in this statement, however,

"Well there strength isn't terrible, but it's not enough for us. Besides, an interesting thing to note from this map is sects or sects like places such as these offer guest missions that anyone can take up. Which is why we'll eventually head down to the Seven Wind Profound Palace. They'll have a lot of what we need."

Luke had to admit while looking at the map beside some locations, he couldn't recognize most places or structures. He assumes Azure Dragon City was supposed to replace the original New Moon City, but the Azure City was countless times larger and stronger.

The Xiao Sect know their stuff since the map detailed the fact there's Supreme Elders in the Sky Lord realm, and it gave names of most prominent figures. Names that he could recognize from Martial God Asura.

It also holds true for the Empire of this whole region, the Seven Wind Profound Empire, reminding him of Martial World. Yet nothing from what he read bears a substantial resemblance from their originals beside the same people showing up again.

Although this made Luke, even more, pump up to go out and explore since a lot of things got switched up from their originals.

"You're the conductor for our journey anyways, so I have no complaints. Although what about that Qingyue girl? Lingxi said she heading down to the Frozen Immortal place, yet were going in the opposite direction, hm?"

"Well, for that..."

Luke ponders about that since he doesn't have a solid reason to just take Qingyue from her master. And the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace here are several times stronger and larger than their original counterpart.

'I think I have a good plan for that. We'll start with what you will do with her for tomorrow.'

Spooky suddenly said, bringing Luke in to listen to her devilish good ideas.
