"Luke, just how can you come up with all these strange little games? But they're all fun, though! Hehehe~." Back at the resting area of the inn where the cousin was staying, Luke and Xiao Lingxi were relaxing from their fun day together.
After Luke gave her Spirit Power, Xiao Lingxi got a lot more open and was even more upbeat than before. Luke had shown her other little Earth games through his Spirit Power, like one common one being tic tac toe. And every game was taken to the next level because of Luke Spirit Power, never having a dull moment between them.
The two also from Luke's suggestion purchase food and eating out in the forest as a small little picnic. Because of his Spirit Power, he was able to set the mood naturally and made it comfy for them to eat.
This part was especially lovely since Xiao Lingxi had unconsciously leaned on his shoulder while talking about exciting tales from his world. Plus, it was also wonderful to see Lingxi adorably cute scarlet face once she realized their position.
It was for him honestly one of the best days he ever had in his life. It felt so good to hang out with a beautiful woman, and Xiao Lingxi herself is a joy to be around. Now he sees how their souls called out to each other, everything felt right.
And Luke wasn't alone on this sentiment as Xiao Lingxi was enthralled throughout the entire day. From when she gained Spirit Power and beyond, she felt herself growing more attached to Luke and calmer around him. The laughs and joy they shared from games soothed her mind and soul, making her fall even harder for Luke.
To think this all started from a chance encounter. At least that's what she thought. Meanwhile, a blue hair ghost girl was cheerfully smiling at the events unfolding.
"I guess you can say I always had a hyper mind. When I'm with Andy, we used to play games like this all the time to pass the hours." Luke partially told the truth since he couldn't outright say I'm from another world now.
"You two really are close...ah um, Luke c-can I ask something?" In her stomach, she couldn't exactly say why, but she felt mix for this question. Luke, mentioning how close he is with his cousin, had gotten her to think of another girl he's planning on spending time with.
After all this girl, she considers even more beautiful than herself, and she has talents far superior to her. There was her calm, elegant charm, and the mature way she handles herself that ran in her mind. Xiao Lingxi couldn't help but get nervous at the thought of Luke spending time with someone else and consider that girl better than her.
The nervousness was apparent for Luke, and he calmly smiles to reassure her saying,
"Weren't you so upbeat before? Ask away."
"Um-are you going to meet with Sister Qingyue soon??"
She said it rather fast because she felt nervous, but Luke could still pick up on what she said. To this, a blue light flashed in Luke's eye as he heard Spooky say,

'Go for the kill!'
Slowly and tenderly, Luke reached out his hand to put over Xiao Lingxi, who didn't resist and felt tingles from his touch. Her eyes got enraptured by Luke's eyes flashed, and he smoothly said,
"Yes, I am planning on hanging out with Qingyue, tomorrow in fact. But it doesn't change anything between us. I like you, so I mean, if you don't mind, would you like to do this again?"
Luke sincerely conveyed his words to her. The calling he felt to Qingyue couldn't get ignored, but as well he didn't want Lingxi to have any mixed feelings about it. His words cooed into her mind as she felt her heart race suddenly!
"L-L-Like?! I mean yea, I like you too and Andrea too! Uh, yea! I hope we do this again!" Like a rapid machine-gun, Xiao Lingxi blurted out whatever came to mind in a panic.
But a gentle squeeze from Luke hand's calmed her down a bit. He stood up with her in hand saying with a bright, broad smile,
"Great! Do you want to meet back here again, the day after tomorrow?" Still blushing Lingxi slowly nodded saying,
"Ah, um, yea. Luke, yo-"
Whatever she was going to say got cut off when Luke unexpectedly wrapped her up in a warm hug.
"Remember what I said in the forest, Lingxi? I'll never forget nor abandon you. No matter how many people come along, I can never forget such a charming, sweet girl like you."
Luke didn't care if they were in a public setting as he focused his attention squarely on Lingxi. And softly pulling away from Luke's hug, Lingxi gazed up into the enchanting eyes of Luke and,
'Chu~.'
Faster than he could blink, Luke felt incomparably soft angelic lips graced his cheeks. And he also notices Lingxi swiftly escaped from his grasp with her back turn walking towards the exit.
"You-you better be here the day after tomorrow then!"
She didn't dare face Luke after that little stunt and already walked out the inn before he could even respond. Under all curious gazes of all other cultivators, Luke gently touched his cheek, where Lingxi kissed him, having a massive smile on his face.
All the while, Lingxi was briskly walking as far away as possible to cover up her embarrassment. She didn't know what came over her! But his touch, his words, and those enchanting eyes all pulled Lingxi into making such a bold move.
Once she got a fair distance away, she stopped, rummaging through today's events. All of it truly was magical! To granting her Spirit Power, playing all sorts of strange fun games and that intimate moment in the forest, all of it got carved into her mind and soul.
It was probably the most joyful day she ever had, and she felt much closer to Luke in merely one day. A blossoming smile etched on her face as she thought,
"He really does like me. Hehehe~.'
Giggling to herself, she walked home with a hop in her step, not even thinking about Luke meeting up with Qingyue tomorrow.

….
"So, I see your date went over well?"
Andrea asked as Luke got into their room with an ever-present smile on his face. Just from his face, she could tell something significant happened between them.
"Yep! Honestly, it was one the best days I ever had!" Sitting on his bed, Luke laid down to relax on it, still recalling today's events.
"I see...and tomorrow you're planning on taking Qingyue out, right? Going off from today's events, you will seem to have no problem with her." Looking over to Andrea, he notices all this she was still sitting cross-legged with her sword on her lap.
His axe was; next to her body and Luke had to ask,
"Have you just been like that all day? Did you even try going out and looking around town?"
"Hm, perhaps another time. But what I have been doing was, well, I guess you can say reading up on my curse. There's a lot of interesting things here that you'll probably learn from Spooky about your own curse."
It was then Luke realized; she was already a step ahead of him!
"Say, did Yurei just let you in on the curse, that easily?!" His disbelief stemmed from the fact Spooky had been pretty tight lip about their curse.
"Pretty much. I mean, for our curse, it differs majorly from yours. Plus, I think you're starting to notice it too, right? These curses are slowly changing our personalities. If I were to go back to our Earth, then people there would deem as a terrifying woman from just my presence." Andrea said ominously, putting on a sinister smile as well.
It wasn't like her mind was becoming corrupted or vile. No, it was more of her interest and demeanor taking more a dark, mysterious turn. Things she never thought she had an interest now suddenly intrigue her, such as new interest in the human bodies, swaying one's mind, and even death, among other things.
Luke, however, was turning from just another average guy into someone charming and confident. Throughout his whole day with Lingxi, there was never a single moment where he was nervous or unsure of himself. Everything he did felt right to him, and he felt proud of his actions.
"I guess you're right, but it would be nice to learn more about my curse, you know."
'Don't get so antsy. Yurei was only providing Andrea with trivia facts about their curse since that what I'm sure her personality is evolving too. She as well can't fully utilize her curse yet.' Spooky called out Luke as she heard his complaints.
'If you say so. So do you got any advice for me about tomorrow?"
All actions that went smoothly so far for Luke had been because of Spooky, so how couldn't he ask for guidance?
'Just when she comes around, bring up the multiple issues, and you'll be surprised. Also, get up relatively early tomorrow morning. I'll show you an unknown side to Qingyue you didn't know before.'
Luke could loosely understand the first part of her statement as he regarded it to Lingxi but a new side to Qingyue? Now that held his interest! Especially considering even in this universe, she still has a calm, cool shell.
"Hey, show me some more games you can think of. I'll give it up; I did get pretty bored just sitting in here all day long.' Andrea called out to Luke once she knew he got done talking to Spooky.
And with a wry smile, Luke ignited his hand in soul Spirit Power intending to play around with his cousin for a bit.
….
Near the Xia manor, on a separate path, one lone stunningly beautiful girl dressed in an azure, red dress could be seen standing around. The girl was in deep thought as her mind swirled around one person.
'Mother says he is staying there but...should I really go? Wouldn't it be weird? Ah...then why I'm just standing around here...'
Of course, this girl was the gorgeous Xia Qingyue, and she was in turmoil at this moment. Since Luke and Spooky soul was stronger in the Nascent realm, the mark she put was far stronger than the first one with Lingxi.
Furthermore, because her soul didn't reject Luke's soul callings and quickly long for him, the mark only reinforced her interest in meeting Luke again. It has gotten to the point where she even thought about meeting the guy at the inn!
Yet she was self-conscious about it. Besides Yuanba and Xiao Yun, she really haven't had much extensive conversation with another male her age. And the rush of new feelings Luke brought to her was beyond her depth.
However, her contemplation couldn't continue as she heard,
"Qingyue! You're brother said you would be here. What's gotten, you so worked up?" Luke's charming voice ranged in her ears as her head snaps towards him. She was like a deer caught in the headlights, and she stutters out,
"A-Ah! Luke, I was just clearing out my mind." Qingyue attempted to say in a mild voice, but the faint blush on her cheek betrayed her.
While Luke was walking, he already thought over on how to hangout with Qingyue before. Unlike Lingxi, she drastically differs from her, being what they called an 'ice beauty.'
Although at least right now, he really isn't holding many ice type traits but her calmness was there. Smiling Luke had said,
"I see, well, then I hope your mind is cleared for our day together! You haven't forgotten about it, right?"
Once Luke neared her, Qingyue felt tingles in her chest as she couldn't forget about it! And at the same time, a small amount of anticipation welled up inside her in preparation for their day.

Watch as Li tries to maintain his peaceful daily life in a chaotic world full of magic and knights.===Foreword===Slow Pace: This novel does have a slow pace with things building up piece by piece over time. However, this also means that the further you read, the more connections will begin linking up and the more the story will start building up.OP MC: The MC in this novel is extremely powerful from the very beginning. If this appeals to you, then check this novel out.Crafting/Farming Warning: This is a warning to say that if you are looking for a novel that focuses entirely on a crafting system or farming, then I have to say that this novel does eventually move on from the whole farming premise, getting much larger in scope overall.===Doever Writing Quality Guarantee===I can give a solid guarantee that the writing quality of this novel is of the highest tier on this website. Even though I would like to go through many of the initial chapters for a proofread, I still believe the writing quality is top notch for this website. There will be very few mistakes, and the few that do slip by me will not affect readability at all. Now, you may not agree with how the novel develops, but I can at the least guarantee that you will have no trouble actually reading what happensOf course, I am not perfect, so please feel free to point out mistakes and problems and I will be more than happy to fix them! But most importantly, whether you have criticisms or enjoy the book, thanks for reading!

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.
