《Tides Of Protomis》LX- Yang The Unbreakable

Liang stood with his hand at his side, he grasped the hilt of his Jian, pulling it out, as he pointed at the large man. Bijan stood beside him, gaze focused on the man as well. The man wore the same button-down black shirt any proto-human within the forces would’ve worn, With a noticeable difference being, the imperial guard emblem on his back. There was silence between the three, Lafeyah got into his stance, putting his left foot forward, and left arm forward as well.
Lafeyah: I'd tell you to get out of our way… but it's not as if you'd listen…
Yang focused his gaze on lafeyah with his words.
Yang: Of course not… that is all the more reason that you will not Ascend past this floor… That criminal Vogel was much too worried about fulfilling his desires to be the emperor's guard, or be in the forces as a whole… However, I'm a different story, as long as I stand- you stay, and I shan't fall…
They stood there, their expressions unchanged. It was clear that they were less than impressed by the man’s worlds.
Liang: that's some bravado you have there… But that won't change the result of this battle!!!
Liang bent his knees, grasping his Jian with both hands. He swiftly hopped forward, destroying the ground underneath. He kept his gaze on the man all the while… However, he found himself stopped mid-air, and thrown back. He looked up in surprise at the man.
Liang(Thought):...I did find it strange that he was just standing there.
As lafeyah reached to his side, he soon took out a sack of soil, throwing it unto the floor, as well as seeds. With multiple plants taking root, their vines spreading onto the floor, breaking through them as well. Lafeyah stood with his hand on his chin, as he went into his thoughts... What could his ability be?
Lafeyah: His ability… it reminds me of Agni's commander.
Yang: Ah, the traitor, in a way, you are correct. But there is a crucial difference between he and I. my shield is stronger than his… Especially if his was destroyed by the likes of you
Yang(thought): The 360° Barrier around me-- is even stronger than the one I've installed in this room… your measly power shall not destroy it.
Liang’s brows furrowed.
Liang: Tch… we won't get around this with anything less than full force.
A blue light began to swarm around Liang’s body once again, as he put his right foot forward, stomping, and shifted his left foot back. He put both of his arms up as he focused his gaze on his target.
Liang: Chuojiao Art- Azure Dragon Rush!!!
Soon, the light around him morphed, until it soon resembled the head of a Long(Dragon), However, unlike months priority was not just the head, and a bit of the rest… Spreading through the room, was it’s body as well, its claws outstretched, as it looked toward Yang. Regardless, the man stood there, unshaken by the display.
Soon, it flew at yang in an attempt to charge him. With the sound of shattering glass echoing throughout the room, the shards of one of the barriers became visible, it had broken right through. It advanced, destroying another, and another… But, with each one, it’s advance slowed as it got closer to Yang. Until, it had stopped completely, and dissipated. Liang clicked his tongue in frustration, and got back into his stance, preparing for yet another attack.

Liang(thought): I’ll need to be more thorough with this one…
Elsewhere, Bijan put his gaze on Yang once again, before his eyes darted around. The plants that took root behind him sprouted spines from themselves, Bijan thrust his hand forward, as the spines were launched toward Yang once again. However, the man did not even bat an eye, as they were caught by the man’s field, stopping, and falling to the ground. Liang glanced over at Bijan as he took notice of the attack, and its failure. He bent his knees, as he prepared to jump once again.
However, Yang’s eyes darted to the left, and soon, Liang found himself unable to move.
Liang(thought): He’s placed a shield around me, it looks like...
Soon, the thorns previously launched at Yang rose, as he threw his arm up, and soon, At Liang, as Yang thrust his hand forward, the front of the field around Liang opened. The spines barreled at Liang, he thrust his arm forward, with a wave of air pressure flying outward, they were thrown off of their path, piercing the walls, rather than any of those there. Arctaius stood, fixing his gaze on Yang, and then, at the wall. Or, more accurately, the barrier around it. He turned to the other tides.
Arctaius: That proves something… Liang could break through that- we can break through the shield surrounding this room… and proceed to the upper levels.
Rhuskov nodded.
Rhuskov: Then we get to the apostles…
Bijan looked over his shoulder, nodding at the four.
Bijan: We'll handle this one- get going…
Liang looked over his shoulder as well.
Liang: While I'd rather go after them myself-- somebody needs to be in top condition to fight them, and with this one's defense, it won't be us….
Arctaius: Acknowledged…
Arctaius turns, facing the wall, as he bent his knees, jumping forth.
Arctaius: Leigong impact!!!!
Bolts radiated around Arctaius’ fist. As, with the crashing of the walls breaking, and the shattering of the barrier, with the sound of breaking glass resounding throughout the room. He glanced over his shoulder, at the other tides, nodding. Before flying out of the hole, Soon, the others followed. Liang, and Bijan, continued facing against yang. His eyes narrowed as he watched them leave.
Yang: Tch… You won't get any more than that…
Yang opened his hand, yet another barrier appeared around the room.
Part B
The three stared at one another, Lying in Wait. What was first a room of fighters, now looked to be more like a room of Statues. They kept their gazes on one another, watching for any movement, an arm, a leg, even so much as a finger… Liang was the first to move, he jumped forward, pulling his chain whip off of his belt, he brought his arm back, before thrusting it forward, sending the much larger sharpened end, and a much longer chain forward. However, as yang put his hand up, the Barrier in front of him grew lighter, as the end of the whip was sent away, sent rebounding to Liang.
Liang: Not yet!!
Liang swung his arm back, and forth, As the Zhi Nu began to swing around the room, hitting Yang’s shield against, and against. Though only taking small amounts of the field out. The fact remained, that gradually, it began chipping away. Liang stood there with his expression unchanged.

Yang: Is that it?
Bijan eyed a hole in the field, where Liang’s swings had hit. Soon, the plants behind him gave rise to a mass of vines, that weaved around one another, taking a humanoid shape. Yet another of his Verdant golems. Within moments, it charged at Yang, reeling its arm back, it began to throw strikes at the very same part of the field Liang had hit, with more cracks appearing time and time again. Yang’s eyes darted over to the being.
Yang: Not so fast!!!
With this, Yang threw his arm forward, as yet another field was created, Around Liang, and the golem alike. However, the damage was already done. As soon, Bijan’s plants sprouted a number of spines significantly larger than before, and, As they were launched, they flew toward the same spot his ally had hit before. And, upon impact, the field is shattered.
Lafeyah: Verdant Pierce!!!
Now, not one, not two, but five of the plants behind Lafeyah, grew the larger spines once again, and, as he pointed forward, a volley of spines was sent out, the number increasing, and increasing, what was first tens, turned into Hundreds. Soon, Yang’s Shields were shattered, one by one, much faster than before. Yang stood with his eyes widened.
Yang(Thought): How, How is this possible?! What did they do in those two months?
However, the onslaught does not end there, As Liang threw a kick, Breaking the barrier that previously held him within. He bent his knees, and jumped forward, and, as if he’d teleported, There Liang was, In melee range, over Yang’s head. Soon, the light around him took shape once again, weaving around the room, and then, toward Yang, as Liang spun his body in the air, before swinging his way back to Yang.
Liang; Azure Dragon- Fang Strike!!!
As Liang’s foot made impact, with the familiar sound of glass shattering, the final barrier was destroyed. As Liang's foot made contact with his neck, the giant was sent flying unto the wall, before falling to the ground. However, he soon got onto his hands and knees, as he began to rise once again.
Yang(Thought): I’m not done just yet… I won’t let you have your W-
However, the very same spines flew at him once again… This time, however, he was pierced all over his body, Blood spilled out of his mouth. Even so, he remained standing, for quite a bit... Falling to his death, minutes later. Liang and Bijan walked toward one another, breathing heavily.
Liang: We were fighting him for that long-- and he didn't get tired, not once…
Lafeyah: I think that was the last one… that we need to deal with, at least...
Elsewhere, the Tides flew directly up the downright gigantic skyscraper. It was quiet between them. Until their eyes narrowed as they noticed a certain four were nearby.
Rhuskov: Here they come!!!
Arctaius: I know!!
Soon enough, coming down the tower, were Minoru, Amelia, Berthold, And Najeem, jumping out of one of the many windows, all prepared to meet their opponents. Minoru reaches to his left, and grasps the hilt of his blade, and draws it. As he took a swipe, the simple force of the cut went downward- cutting through the building as it went down, with the rapid shattering of glass heard. The four moved out of the way, dodging the attack. Soon, they began to fly faster, with more and more damage done to the building as they simply flew. Zhao reached for his Trusty dao, Drawing it as he came close to Minoru.
Both of them took a swing, their blades clashed between them. But, they soon pushed each other back, before passing one another. However, within moments, elsewhere, a red glow swarms Amelia, as she throws her hand forward, a number of the buildings in the area were broken down, with the resulting rubble floating upward. Amelia set her gaze on Zhao as she smirked, and, Though she closed his hand, she was surprised, as the Rubble remained unmoving… Soon, her eyes darted around, as to look for a reason. Her gaze fell on Arctaius, Alarick, and, then, Kazimir, who had the very same Red Light swarming around him as well.
Amelia:You are no weakling.
Kazimir:Of course I'm not…
However, Kazimir was soon interrupted from his train of Thought. Najeem struck both of his arms up, as blade-like bones extended from his wrist, the edges facing his body. Moments after he extended these blades, He charged at Kazimir from behind. Alarick’s eyes darted over as he took notice, With much of the rubble flying to him, the very same suit of stone Gothic armor was forged around him. He flew toward Kazimir as well, Appearing directly in his path, before throwing a Left hook, Sending him flying to the left. However, he stopped himself, Midair, glaring at the boy.
Elsewhere, Berthold opened his hands, as, what appeared to be playing cards appeared, revolving around him. He kept his gaze on Alarick as he grasped two of the cards from around him. Only then did he utter three words.
“Straight Shot, Barrage…”
As he threw the cards forward, they soon began speeding around alarick. As laser beams flew at him from every direction, they fired, and stopped, again, and again, Even as Alarick’s eyes followed them. It was more than a bit challenging to stop the assault. Soon, Arctaius took action, firing pulses of solar energy at four of the cars, burning through four of them. Alarick dashed around, taking out the rest, as darkened voids appeared in front of them… Elsewhere, within the shelter, a large crowd watched the battle on the display. Cheers resounded throughout the room.
Citizen 1:The Apostles have arrived!!!
Citizen:Those heretics are in trouble now- they have no chance!!!
In rizian, The short scuffle ends, as the members of both sides flew away from one another, Lining up, and staring at their opponents.
