《Ghost World Academia》30-Clayton Vs Kester Miles

“My God, I haven’t even used my ability yet and you are down. How disappointing.” Kester Miles who is fighting Clayton shakes his head from a disappointing battle.
Outside the mansion, Alucard sighed, “Can’t even clear the first floor by themselves. He is right, this is a major disappointment.” Alucard said with a disappointed tone. Lucifer didn’t say anything and kept her eye glued to the broadcast.
Inside the mansion, “I guess, I will just go and stop those kids from climb-“ Suddenly, the debris behind Kester falls off as Clayton gets back up. “My god, I was sure that you were down and done for but it seems that you still have some energy left in you, demon.” Kester smirks.
Outside the mansion, “See, I told you, if he is from my lands, he will definitely not be someone easy to take down.” Lucifer said to Alucard with a smug look on her face. “Tsch! Doesn’t matter, that demon shall go down.” Alucard says to Lucifer. “We will see about that.” Lucifer smiles.
Inside the mansion, “Here is a question for you Mister Demon, what is a vampire’s weakness?” Kester asks Clayton. It looked like Clayton’s knowledge was being checked. Clayton sighed, “You vampires are weak to magic but are resistant to physical attack.” Clayton replied to Kester’s question. “Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! My god, you said the right answer but, you still won’t win against me. Since your mana capacity is so weak compared to mine!” Kester rushes right behind Clayton.
A bunch of sand started gathering around Clayton, “Sand Magic: Sand Hammer!” This created a massive hammer made of sand which crashed right on Clayton. Clayton tried to grab Kester but Kester backed out and the hammer made of sand hit Clayton. “Tsch! He really was trying to put his filthy demon hands on me through all that sand.” Kester was disgusted by Clayton’s actions.
Outside the mansion, “You said that this demon is from your land but it seems that the demon is far weaker than you.” Alucard says to Lucifer. Lucifer locks her hands and stretches them. “Yeah, so? They all are far weaker than I am. Including your soldiers as well.” Lucifer says to Alucard. “Indeed, those vampire soldiers and human and his companions are weak compared to us big fish.” Kil says to Alucard. “I did see one strong person in that group though. That person had massive potential.” Kil says. “Are you talking about Ryuga?” Lucifer asks Kil. “Not at all, that boy was weak in every way I saw him. He had a mere 3000 mana capacity. That’s lower than even the lowest other worlder’s mana capacity.” Kil looked quite annoyed. “3000? What?” Lucifer looked confused. “What’s with you? Is there anything wrong with what Kil said?” Alucard asks Lucifer. “Don’t you feel weird that if that boy really had 3000 mana capacity, he would actually enter the barrier and even survive? After all, this barrier is harmful to humans. Especially those with low mana capacity. Proof being that human who wore the mask when he entered the barrier. So, why did Ryuga not need a mask?” Lucifer’s questions spark a light on Ryuga. Even Kil and Alucard couldn’t believe what Lucifer was saying. “That would be that this human is stronger than me! He needs to have at least 10,000 mana capacity to enter the barrier without the mask and even if he had 10,000 mana capacity he would barely make it inside the barrier which means, his mana capacity must be at least around 12,000…” This revelation left Kil in utter shock. “It’s just a bluff. Why would he suppress his mana capacity? That would just mean that he is making a mockery out of us.” Alucard looked calm and composed. Lucifer sighed, “I wonder the same thing.”

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~
Clayton and Kester continued their fight. Kester was totally dominating Clayton in the fight. “My God, are you sure you belong to the demon race?! You are weaker than most of those demons I have fought!” It looked like Kester was just torturing Clayton at this point. But there was one point about the battle that Clayton won in.
Kester was exhausted. He was huffing and puffing and he was constantly losing his stamina and also his mana. “What’s the matter? Are you done?” Clayton asked Kester. There wasn’t a shred of expression on Clayton’s face. “What?! My god, are you inviting me to destroy you?!” The only thing he did was cover his face with his scarf. “I don’t speak much but you are pretty dumb, you know that?” Clayton keeps his eye on Kester as he speaks in a cold tone. “What did you call me, fucker?!” Kester looked quite pissed.
Outside the mansion, “What is that demon boy talking about?” Bin looked quite annoyed. “Haven’t you noticed, Mistress Bin?” Erina asks Bin. “What?” Bin looked even more annoyed with Erina’s question. “This battle is our loss.” Alucard says. “What?! What do you mean, my lord?!” Bin looked confused. “It’s just like our Lord said, that demon won the battle the moment Kester looked down upon him. After all, even after taking all those hits, Kester couldn’t even cause a scratch to Clayton.” Erina says with a smile. “What?!” Bin looked even more confused than ever.
Inside the mansion, Clayton looks above him, “I sense that whoever stopped on the second floor needs my help. So, let’s finish this quickly, umm…What’s your name? Right, Kester Miles, I will finish this in one hit.” Clayton says to Kester. “What?!” Kester looks confused. “My God, you and your bluffs, do you realize that how many times I have hit you?! Do you realize that you are weak?! Do you realize that you are damaged?!” To Kester’s surprise, Clayton appeared right in front of him to finish him, “Flame Magic: Flaming Fire Ball!” Clayton formed a ball of fire in his hand but Kester did not look surprised instead he smirked. Clayton tried to attack Kester with his ball of fire but it instead got reflected.
Outside the mansion, “Interesting, that looks like his ability.” Lucifer says. “It is indeed his ability. I would say it is one of the most broken abilities in our Vampire Land. It’s called Perfect Defence.” Bin brags about Kester’s ability. “No one can penetrate his Perfect Defence. The Perfect Defence is an ability that makes up for our weakness of magic. It creates a wall within a meter which prevents any kind of physical or magical attack.” Alucard says. “Indeed, that is quite a powerful ability.” Kil says. “In our whole Vampire Land, there are only two people whose abilities can make up for their weaknesses of magic, one is Kester and the other one is my son, Dust.” Bin brags. “Interesting. So his Limiter Ability.” Lucifer looks at the match and says.
Inside the mansion, “You really thought that just by using magic you could defeat me?! Are you forgetting we have Limiter Abilities as well?! You can’t win against me! All I need to do is stay in here and I will be just fine.” Kester laughs at Clayton. “I could wait here all day but like I said I don’t have time. Whoever is fighting above me, they need my help and that is why I will have to defeat you.” Clayton says. “How are you going to defeat me?!” Kester asks Clayton.

“Would you mind checking your pocket for me?” Clayton asks Kester. “Hmm?” Kester removes a small orb out of his pocket. “Thanks, victory is mine.” Clayton says to Kester while forming a fireball in his hand, “Flaming Magic….” Suddenly, Clayton switches places with the orb and the orb falls in his place, “What the-“
“It looked like I couldn’t enter that wall you put on even if I tried to break it, so I just barged in without breaking in.” Clayton smiles and attacks Kester with his fireball in his face, “FLAMING FIREBALL!” Clayton puts Kester down without even taking a scratch.
Outside the mansion, “What the hell…Was that?!” Clayton’s ability left Bin’s mouth wide open. “Even I didn’t expect that…I was expecting that Kester would get impatient and do something stupid but that was something.” Erina chuckles. “But what did he do?!” Bin asked. “I am guessing, he switched places with the small orb that he placed inside that vampire.” Kil replied. “When did he place that small orb inside Kester’s pocket?!” Bin asked. “It was when Kester attacked him with his sand. We thought that he was trying to grab Kester but instead, he put that small orb inside his pocket.” Lucifer says.
“That demon is indeed quite strong but I can’t say the same for that human.” Kil pointed at a broadcast from the second floor. Everyone turned their attention to the broadcast that was airing on the second floor of the mansion.
~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~
On the second floor of the mansion, “You are quite lucky, young one. If you weren’t inside the mansion, you would have died with that mask destroyed.” Another blonde handsome man is fighting on the second floor. He looks to be the same blonde man who was treating Alucard a few days ago. He is also quite elegant in comparison to Kester. “I must admit though, you are a tough human. To take all those hits and still stay there, standing, you must have gone through a lot of tough training.” The blonde man says with a stoic look on his face to Kirio. The person who stayed on the second floor.
Kirio was bleeding from his head, nose, mouth and even his right eye seemed to be in pretty bad shape. His face badly injured with the mask hanging onto his ear. His shirt torn in half and his right hand broken. He was even barely standing. “I have to say this human. You are quite courageous. But being brave and being stupid are two different things. Even though you are brave and barely standing, you are stupid to even think that you stand a chance against me. My lord’s one and only loyal servant!” It looked like the blonde-haired servant was about attack Kirio’s heart with his hand.
~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~
“Hey Ryuga, was it really okay to leave Kirio behind?!” Jau asked Ryuga. “What do you mean?” Ryuga asks Jau. “That guy, he is said to be the second-best vampire in all of Vampire Land right below Sir Alucard and Sir Dust.” Gordon answers Ryuga’s question. “Don’t worry, I realized he was too much for Kirio but I think the people on the higher up floors will not be easy for him either. He isn’t really made for this type of match-up. After all, Kirio is a physical fighter but vampires are strong against physical attacks. So, I thought that it would be better for him to stay behind.” Ryuga explains. “Isn’t that basically saying both me and Mearid-Unfurn are weak?” Jau asks Ryuga. “Not at all, you guys have your ways of using magic but for Kirio who has never used or studied magic, this might be tough. So I left him in safe hands.” Ryuga says with a smile as he and the others climb. “Oh, by safe hands do you mean him?” Alicia asks Ryuga. “Yeah, I left it all to him.” Ryuga replies to Alicia.
A FEW MINUTES BEFORE ENTERING THE CASTLE,
“Hey, no matter who it is. I want you to protect Kirio. Take the first floor for yourself and then go to the second floor. That’s where I will have Kirio hang on. Please, as soon as you sense the battle on the second floor, make it there as quickly as possible.” Ryuga asked Clayton, “I will make sure nothing happens to your friend Kirio just like you said.” Clayton covers his face with his scarf.
~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~
“It seems that Kester was defeated by you.” The nails that were supposed to pierce Kirio’s heart pierce through Clayton’s hands. Kirio falls in Clayton’s arms. “I barely made it in time. I hope Ryuga won’t be angry at me.” Clayton rests Kirio behind him. “Are you going to be my opponent?” The blonde-haired man asks Clayton. “Opponent? I am going to demolish you for hurting Ryuga’s friend!” Clayton unleashes a huge amount of mana. “Tsch! You are definitely going to be a tough opponent!”

Human in a Demon's Hide
I had recently enrolled in the military as a lowly footsoldier. Oh, before you could proceed any further, let me tell you about myself. I ain’t some patriotic soldier that’ll lay down my life for the sake of my country. Hell no! That shit is for the people with loose screws! I had only a few goals when I joined the army: March into battle, kick ass, and earn me some cash! Achieving glory on the way wouldn’t hurt. I just need the money to feed my little brother and sister. Their world is all I want to protect. The glory is for washing clean the stains that my father left on the family name. We became such a joke in the country that our mother abandoned us. I don’t know if he really did betray the country, but I don’t care. For my little siblings to suffer the same mockery and humiliation that I did is unacceptable! To protect the smiles of my only family, I would do anything. Yet, life knows to shit on you when things are just getting good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval and steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely used as a weapon by people. There would be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warnings-The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed, introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The stories are fast-paced and progressing faster. The chapters update would be unstable, depending on my daily life. You would get fast updates... or slow. Also, English isn't my first language. So don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I would like some constructive critique and feedback! It fills my motivation gauge and increases that rate of chapter/week. (/>3
