“That idiot, why didn’t he call me?! Tsch!” Jau-Unfurn ran through the jungle to where Ryuga and Clayton were fighting. “I sense a little mana. Feels like someone is using healing magic.” Jau-Unfurn went to the place where she felt the magic from someone. With her huge mace, she arrived at the scene but all that waited for her was two people, one who was heavily injured and one who was slightly injured but using healing magic. The person who was heavily injured was, “RYUGA!!!!!” The one who Jau-Unfurn screamed the name of.

ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO,

“Can you really defeat me, Ryuga? Even you know that you don’t have limiters. In other words, you are a superhuman for normal humans but for Ghosts and many people with limiters you are small fry. Which means you are nothing but a small fry.” The Akuma within the robot said to Ryuga. “Did you hear me?! you are nothing but a small fry to me!”

Hearing Akuma say all those things made Ryuga a little angry. Ryuga takes a deep breath ready to fight the huge robot that is Akuma. “I need to remember what my father taught me. For once, I will need to remember the martial arts father taught me.” Ryuga clenches his fist and pulls his right hand behind his left hand defending his face.

“What do you think you can do with that?” Akuma asks Ryuga. “I haven’t used Knight’s Defence style in quite some time but if I do I believe that I can at least get a hit in before I go down.” Ryuga answers Akuma. “Knight’s Defence? That sounds like a chess move rather than a fighting move. You sure, you know martial arts boy?” Akuma mocks Ryuga. “I wouldn’t have such a body if I didn’t know martial arts.” Ryuga replied to Akuma. “If that’s the case then you should easily dodge this without magic!” Akuma readies to punch Ryuga.

Ryuga dodges the punch but just barely. That’s when he realizes that another punch was heading towards him, “Too fast!” To avoid much damage from the second punch he put up his hands to defend himself but even that was futile since the punch still blew him away breaking down at least 3 or more trees in the process.

“You are weak Ryuga…That’s just the simple fact.” Akuma says to Ryuga. He starts walking away, “Now to get Mayumi-“ That’s when Akuma realizes that Ryuga got back up even after being bruised and battered. His hands, forehead, and legs all bleeding but he still stands as if nothing happened. “Man, just stay down. I don’t want to fight a weakling like you.” Akuma says to Ryuga. Ryuga walked slowly towards Akuma. Akuma punched Ryuga right in his guts, “GUH!” He spurted blood out his mouth. Ryuga flies high in the sky and he falls straight to the ground.

“I didn’t mean to kill you…May your soul rest in peace.” Akuma says to Ryuga. That’s when he heard the scratching of the surface. Not only that but, Ryuga’s aura made Akuma shiver in his boots, “Oi, oi, oi, are you even sure that you are a normal human? Are you sure that you don’t have a fucking limiter placed on you secretly or some shit? How the fuck are you even alive?! Like how in the fuck are you in alive if you fell from some skyscraper level height?! A normal human would have died from that-“

Ryuga lightly punched the robot without any power, “There…I got…A single hit.” Ryuga said as he fell to the ground right after hitting the robot. “This guy…If he had a limiter, he would have been someone who even I would have feared because, for the first time in 21 years, I actually felt…What fear is like…”

Akuma quickly left not because he wanted to kidnap Mayumi but rather because he feared for his life. Ryuga Aragi inserted the meaning of fear inside of Akuma Jin.

As soon as Akuma left the scene, Clayton woke up, “Shit…I was knocked out-“ Clayton saw Ryuga who was bleeding heavily on the ground. “RYUGA!” Clayton quickly ran towards Ryuga and saw how brutally injured he was. “I need to heal him…Heal him…I don’t have time to panic. I need to use heal on him!”

And that’s when Jau-Unfurn arrived as well, “RYUGA!!!!!” She quickly ran to Clayton and Ryuga. Looking at Ryuga’s state, Jau’s aura became so monstrous that even people outside of the jungle felt it.

“Is that young Jau?” Even Mearid felt it. “Yes, yes I am here to retrieve Mayumi. Ryuga called me up and told me she was really injured. So, I am going to take her to a hospital.” There was another person at Mearid’s place who was talking to him and that person was no other than Akuma Jin or more like an illusion he had sent to kidnap Mayumi. After all, he didn’t want to stay in the same vicinity where there were two monstrous auras, one of Ryuga and one of Jau-Unfurn.

Clayton kept on healing Ryuga while Jau-Unfurn sat right next to him. Clayton told Jau-Unfurn about everything that happened. It did anger Jau-Unfurn but she didn’t want to leave Ryuga’s side. “Clayton, are you not capable of healing all his injuries?” Jau-Unfurn asks Clayton. “In all honesty, just keeping him alive is pretty hard to do. His injuries are much more severe than Mayumi, so I can’t stop healing him even for a second.” Clayton said while he kept on healing Ryuga, “I feel like Yuri needs to heal Ryuga more than anyone. Ryuga said that when Mayumi was injured to take her to Yuri. So, I am guessing that she is a healer. I am sure she would find a way to heal Ryuga.” Clayton says to Ryuga. “Would it be alright to bring Yuri here?” Jau asks Clayton. “No, until she arrives it will be too late.” Clayton says. “What if we take Ryuga to her then?” Jau-Unfurn asks Clayton. “That will work but how are we gonna do that?” Clayton asks Ryuga.

Jau-Unfurn stands up, “I will carry him on my back and you keep on healing him.” Jau-Unfurn says. “That might work but we have to be careful, all his bones are in really bad shape.” Jau-Unfurn took what Clayton said into account. “In that case…” Jau-Unfurn started to do hand signs and then she tapped the ground, “Come to me, Sobagachi!” A small squirrel appeared out of nowhere with a nut. “What is it that you need, young Jau?” The small squirrel spoke in a feminine voice. “I see, a spirit huh?” Clayton looks at the spirit. Jau nods, “Sobagachi, can you transport Ryuga to my home? Jau asks the small squirrel that she called Sobagachi. Sobagachi nods and It goes under Ryuga, it eats the nut in its hand and turns into a hospital bed. “Nice! Let’s get going!” Clayton says as he keeps healing.

*Bang* Jau quickly opened the door for Ryuga to enter. “IS YURI AKARI HERE?!” Jau screams. “Miss Jau?” Everyone who was inside her house quickly comes out. “Quickly! Get bandages, healing leaves whatever you can!” Mearid orders Jau. “I will do that!” Jau says. “Yuri, we need you to heal, Ryuga!” Clayton says to Yuri. Yuri nods.

“Heal!” They all kept on healing Ryuga. “Heal!” Jau searched for the ingredients in the house. “You will be fine, Ryuga. Don’t worry about it!” Clayton says to Ryuga. “That’s the first time I have seen a demon show any concern for anyone.” Yuri says to Clayton. Clayton focused on healing and didn’t say anything.

“Bandages!” Jau gave Mearid the bandages and healing leaves. Mearid applied the starch that came out of the healing leaves on the bandages. Mearid wrapped the bandage around Ryuga’s head where the force had hit him and also around his legs and hands. He made sure to bandage Ryuga’s palms as well.

In total, six hours had passed. Nobody slept at the house, not even Jau-Unfurn’s mother Unschiul. Even though Mearid, Yuri, and Unschiul all were looking like they would doze off, Jau-Unfurn kept her eyes away keeping her eye on Ryuga. Even Clayton didn’t move his eye away from Ryuga even for a moment.

Clayton sighed of relief, “He is safe but we still need to take him to a hospital.” Clayton says. “When does the first train to the human world arrive?” Jau-Unfurn asks Mearid. “It’s around 8.” Mearid says to Jau. “I will go, you guys can come later on with the group and explain to them about what had happened.” Jau-Unfurn says. “Jau, you need to rest. You haven’t slept-“ Before Unschiul could complete her sentence Jau interrupts her, “I will be going and that’s final! I have nothing more to add. If I have to rest, I will rest at the hospital.” Jau-Unfurn says as she picks up Ryuga and starts moving out. Mearid sighs… “That’s just our stubborn little Jau.” Mearid smiles. “But I am glad that Ryuga is alive.” Mearid says with a smile.

Jau took Ryuga to a hospital as quickly as possible and admitted him there. She also called Ryuga’s mother and told her about the situation. She sat right next to Ryuga who was unconscious while holding his hand.

“Famous Ghost Bleeds’s daughter has Mayumi Revons or as the Ghost world knows her, Bloody Blue has been kidnapped. She was said to be the prime target Akum- What the-“ The news that was going on the television got interrupted by Akuma, “Ahem! Ahem! this is Akuma Jin here! I want Bleeds to come to Bingo News station by tonight midnight or else your daughter and the citizens in this building will face an end.” Akuma gave an evil grin and threw away the microphone he was holding. He also destroyed the camera that was filming him. “Tsch! I will kill-“

Jau-Unfurn tried to leave the Ryuga but Ryuga unconsciously held her hand tightly not letting her go. “Ryuga…” Jau-Unfurn sat right next to him again. “Last time you saved me. You know…I haven’t forgotten that. Even though I was unconscious, I saw you. You said you wanted to protect my smile…But I couldn’t possibly smile if you protected me by humiliating yourself. I always wanted to repay you back for that someday…But…But you were always so far away from me…You were so close to me yet so far away. Three months, for three whole months, I have not been able to hang out with you, not talk to you, not see you. You became all busy and forgot about me…You know that I was so happy when you called me after three months but…I couldn’t talk to you like I used to that’s because...I would have accepted your offer to hang out with you but…But…I was scared to meet you after three whole months. It’s because…I didn’t want to be rejected. It’s because these three months I felt as if I was rejected by your friendship. So, this time, I felt like…I would be rejected for something much deeper than friendship because every time I spend some time with you…I keep on falling in love with you and it’s all your mistake for telling me things like you will protect my smile or I am cute or pat my head. Before Jau could complete her confession, a familiar smug voice says, “My, my, I didn’t know you two were sharing some private time.” This caused Jau to go all red and look behind her where Kaori and Hiro stood. “Who did this to him?” Hiro asked. “It was Akuma Jin.” Jau answered. Hiro quickly went out and dialed a number on his phone. “Eh?” Kaori followed him.

“YOU FUCKING OLD HAG!!!! HOW DARE YOU PUT MY SON’S LIFE IN DANGER?! I MADE A DEAL WITH YOU BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT MY SON WOULD BE SAFE AT YOUR ACADEMY!”

“WOULD YOU CALM THE FUCK DOWN, YOU BALDIE!” A hospital staff screamed at a screaming Hiro.

On the other side of the phone a mature feminine voice talked, “Oi Hiro, would you calm the fuck down? I don’t even know what’s going on right now. I am out of this city right now like I said. If someone stirred up problems at my academy, I will fire them.” The feminine voice said. Kaori took the phone from Hiro, “Now, now, Lucifer. My son was almost killed but I am not concerned about my son getting almost killed, what I am concerned about was what you were doing in some other city when my son got almost killed.” A menacing smile of Kaori made even Hiro sweat. “A-A-Athena…Athena I was on a vaca- I mean I was out here investigating stuff…Yeah, that’s it…Nothing less.” The feminine voice said to Kaori. “I see, I see, so you were on a vacation. Tell me which city you are in and give me your address as well, I will go on a vacation with my family there next.” Kaori says with a menacing smile. “A-A-A-Athena, come on Athena, we are old friends, right? Right? You wouldn’t do anything to me, right?” The feminine voice on the other side tried to convince Kaori. “Old friends don’t repay favors the way you did.” Kaori says to the feminine voice. The feminine voice sighs, “I will send you treatment money, Athena. About a million yen, would that do?” The feminine voice asked. “Do you think that will repay what happened to my son? That is what I would like to say but the I will always take a million yen.” Kaori smiled. The feminine voice sighed. At that moment, Hiro thought, “That’s my wife, only she can extort money even from one of the world’s richest person.” Hiro sighed.

Hiro walked out of the hospital, “Still, I didn’t expect Akuma Jin to act so quickly.” Hiro thought. “He definitely was in a hurry. I wonder if his plans changed because Ryan Arkwet became the mayor of this city.” Hiro took a pack of cigarettes. “Tonight, by midnight, right? That’s when he attacks. Maybe, I will have to make an appearance after all.” Hiro burns his cigarette.

A familiar figure with a robe and a mask appears in front of Hiro, “What have you come here for, Chiblao Shiezel?” Hiro asks the huge person in front of him. “Just checking on my daughter and your son.” The huge person replies. “Chiblao, you what are you planning? Keeping your daughter’s soul alive and also keeping her around Ryuga, what do you plan to do?” Hiro asks. “Who knows? But I do have a warning for you.” Chiblao says. “The vampire ritual will take place on the 23rd of July. Their sacrifice will be the girl you saved all those years ago.” Chiblao says. “That’s about 2 weeks from now, isn’t it?!” Hiro asks. Chiblao nods. “Understood…” Hiro says and Chiblao disappears. “And as always, he just disappears.” Hiro sighs. “This isn’t good…If the vampire ritual takes place, it will bring imbalance in power. I have to take care of this and quickly.”
