Mayumi and Akuma stared each other down. Akuma soothed the robot he was sitting on. Mayumi raised her right thumb next to her mouth ready to use her power. “Oh, so Bloody Blue is going to use her limiter ability straight away.” Akuma smirked. “Limiter Break: Bloody Mary!” Mayumi activated her limiter ability by biting her thumb and that is when Akuma thought to himself, “Exactly, that is what I want you to do, use your ability, your ability to manipulate your own blood.”

Mayumi created a blood ball from the blood dripping from her thumb and shot it at Akuma. The robot used its hand to block the shot that was incoming but that is when Mayumi smirked. “Gotcha!” Mayumi said with a smirk, “Bloody Prison!” The blood turned into one huge fishing net-like trap and covered Akuma and the white robot.

“I don’t know what you were thinking Akuma Jin, but, don’t underestimate me just because I am B-rank Ghost or the daughter of famous Bleeds. I am not a weakling.” Mayumi says as she looks in the direction of where the Ogre’s village is. “Ah Shit…Where the fuck did I come?! I thought Clayton was right behind me.” Mayumi sighed, “I guess in a huge jungle like this, you do get lost.”

Mayumi heard something melting behind her. “Are you shitting me?!” Mayumi turns around and the sweat on her face was obvious. She wasn’t expecting blood of all things to melt. “What the heck is that thing made of?” Mayumi looked quite nervous as she questioned.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

“Hmm? You mean Mayumi and Clayton are still not home?” Ryuga was told by Mearid that Mayumi and Clayton both haven’t come back home. “Their cell phones aren’t responding either.” Mearid adds to the info. “Do you think that they are still hunting spiders?” Ryuga asks Mearid. “I don’t know but even if they are hunting spiders, they shouldn’t be this late you know.” Mearid said to Ryuga. Ryuga sighs, “Yeah, it’s getting pretty late.” Ryuga looks at the clock on the wall which says that it’s about to be 6 p.m. “Aight, I will go and search for them. Let Jau know that I am going to that whatever jungle they went to.” Ryuga says as he puts his shoe on again. “Cardoa Jungle, it’s south from here. That’s where meat spiders with four legs appear.” Mearid says to Ryuga. “Understood, I will go and start searching for them. Yuri, you stay here and keep on calling me. Let me know if any of them come back, alright.” Ryuga says to Yuri. “Alright!” Yuri nods. Ryuga moves out of the house.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

“Tsch! What the hell are you even made of?!” Mayumi looks to be beaten and bruised. The right sleeve of her school jacket has been torn off. She doesn’t seem to be doing well. Mayumi didn’t understand anything that was going on. At that moment all she was thinking about was, “This is bad!” She also thought, “Why are all my attacks getting melted? It’s like the robot is made specifically to counter me but how would someone melt blood? Tsch! If Yuri was here, she would have known better.”

“You don’t look in such a good shape, Miss Revons.” Akuma says to Mayumi as the robot advances. “I told you not to underestimate me.” Mayumi says as she readies to shoot another blood ball towards Akuma. “I don’t underestimate you Revons, that’s the reason why I built this thing in THE FIRST PLACE!” Akuma slaps Mayumi using his robot along with her blood ball to a tree to her right. “Guh!” Mayumi bleeds out blood. “Revons this, Revons that, Bleeds it the best Ghost, Bleeds is super cool, I want to be just like Bleeds, but, when it came to saving his friend, what did Bleeds ever do?” Akuma kicked Mayumi right in her stomach using his robot. “KYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!” Mayumi screamed from the pain of getting crushed by a heavy object.

The robot picks up Mayumi and brings her close to Akuma, “You Revons are one and the same. You did the same to my student. You took someone that was precious to him just like how your father took someone special to me just so that he could rise in the ranks.” Akuma smashed Mayumi into the ground using the robot. At this point, Mayumi was bruised, battered, her bones were crushed. Almost all of her school uniform had come off because of the impact of the wind. Few of her teeth also came off and her eyes couldn’t see anything. It’s almost as if she was losing consciousness.

“Don’t worry, I won’t kill you. I would never kill you so easily. I will make you suffer. I will make your father suffer. Finally, I will make the whole Ghost System suffer from this killing machine. There is nothing you or any other Ghosts can do to stop me. That’s because, I am Akuma Jin, the son of Rina Kuso.” Mayumi’s eyes suddenly came to life after hearing the name Rina Kuso. “Yes, be surprised. That’s what I want the world to see. I want the world to see how the son of the previous number one ranked Ghost takes down the whole fucking Ghost system. Oh right, didn’t your father say that Rina Kuso was working with the Illuminati just like that Ogre girl you killed? Right, right, that was the reason you had given for my mother’s death and the death of Alicia Arkwet. After all, that’s how the system works. If a Ghost becomes the pet of the UN, they get a free leash to tag just anybody as Illuminati. Your father, you, Chilli Ranger, Leonard, Dark Painter, and many more. All of you are just fucking slaves to this system and to a fucking child.”

Akuma picks Mayumi back up and looks angrily at her, “You don’t understand what it means to lose someone you love. Nor do you understand what it means to be taunted and there is no way you can understand loneliness when everyone wants to be close to you. You can never understand…How hard it was for me to deal with high school life…Everyone looking down on me. Everyone looking at me as though I am a son of a monster. At least in the case of Alicia Arkwet, her memories were erased so her sister didn’t have to suffer any of that humiliation. But, in my case, there was no one to erase everyone’s memories. There was no one to look at me and say “Do you feel sad?” “Can I be your friend?” All that good stuff. Once they came to know that the number one Ghost they knew was a part of Illuminati, even I was branded as a traitor in my high school.” Akuma started to laugh hysterically. “My abilities are so weak that I couldn’t even stop the bullies. The only thing I had going for myself was my high scores and intelligence but even that was taken away from me. You know what that fat fucker said to me when I said that I had all my answers right? Akuma crushed Mayumi in the robot’s hand, “Guh!” Mayumi spitted out blood. “If they never existed this Ghost system, I never had to go through so many hardships. If they never existed this system, I never would have lost my mother. If they never existed this system, YOU REVONS NEVER WOULD HAVE HURT ANYONE!!!!!”

Akuma was crushing Mayumi. At this moment, Mayumi couldn’t feel anything but pain but she didn’t have the energy to scream. Her body was totally numb and she wasn’t able to move whatsoever. She had given up. She had given up on life as well as hope. She thought that she never had a chance of survival considering the state she was in. Even Akuma, who wanted to take Mayumi alive didn’t care at this point. At this point, he was choking the life out of Mayumi. Mayumi slowly was losing consciousness.

A person came flying at Akuma and the robot at full speed. The person successfully hit the robot’s head dropping Mayumi. Another person caught Mayumi.

“Tsch! Who the-“ Akuma was going to ask who it was that stopped him but when he saw the person standing in front of him, all he could do was smile. “Ryuga, you are earlier than I expected.” Akuma says to Ryuga. The other person who was holding Mayumi was none other than Clayton. “Ryuga, we need to take her to a healer. She has taken a lot of beating. If my reading is correct, almost 121 bones have been fractured. I believe that she will need to be treated immediately.” Clayton says to Ryuga. “Take her to Yuri, Clayton.” Ryuga says to Clayton. “But Ryug-“

“DON’T ARGUE CLAYTON! THIS AN ORDER! JUST DO IT! ESCORT MAYUMI REVONS SAFELY TO YURI AKARI! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!” Ryuga screams his order out. Clayton saw that Ryuga was pissed off. “Understood…” picked up Mayumi and walked the other. “Hang in there Ryuga, I will be back.” Clayton says to Ryuga. Ryuga nods as Clayton leaves with Mayumi.

“I am surprised that you got angry over Mayumi Revons beaten up.” Akuma smirked. “I would have gotten pissed no matter who got beaten up because the person who was beating that person was you Professor…What the hell happened Professor? Why did you attack Mayumi?” Ryuga asked Akuma. Akuma gave an evil grin and answered, “That’s because…It felt good.” Ryuga’s eyes widened, “Something is wrong with you Professor, I don’t know what it is but…Something is definitely wrong with you.” Ryuga took a fighting stance. “So, you are the one who will fight me, huh? If that’s the case, I won’t be going all out. Try the best you got.” Akuma gave Ryuga an evil grin. “I will Professor.” Ryuga looks at Akuma and talks seriously, “Not only will I give my best but I will defeat you and bring you back to your senses.” Ryuga says to Akuma. Akuma gets excited knowing his own student will fight him, but, is Ryuga really capable of defeating Akuma?
