"I personally, don’t want to be a Ghost. I mean, the risk of being a Ghost is way too much. You might get killed in an encounter and no one except for your family would give a shit about you. Yeah, there will be people here and there talking about how great that Ghost was but that talk will also continue for a few days and that’s where it ends. I rather have it so people don’t talk about how great they were than forget them.

All I will do is spend 3 years studying here than move out to a better college or university. I won’t be making any friends because leaving them hurts and if any of them dies it will hurt even more. So no friends! I think that’s about it."

Thinking purely about himself Ryuga walks inside the huge gate. Beyond which Ryuga realizes that he wasn’t the only human here. There were many others. Not only that, but he also realized that there were other races other than humans who were here.

Just the thought of so many races in a single school made Ryuga think, “No wonder this school is the most famous Ghost-Prepper. I mean just the amount of people that have come here.” Without a single thought Ryuga kept on marching forward but his attention was caught by the different races in the school.

“You know you shouldn’t look away and walk.”

A girlish voice said to Ryuga.

Ryuga turned his head in the front and looked at a girl in front of him.

"This girl, she has a crimson horn coming out of her head. Not to mention, there are small fangs I see as well. Even with all that though, she is quite a cutie. This cutie with a big bust...I am guessing she’s a..." Ryuga thought.

“By any chance are you an Ogre?”

Ryuga asks the horn-girl in front of him.

“Ding-Ding! You got it right! You know about Ogre’s human?”

The horn-girl gets close to Ryuga’s face.

“Yeah...I know somewhat about you guys. I mean, you guys are known for your brute strength.”

Ryuga tries to look away from the little cleavage view he is getting but it just keeps on attracting him.

“Is that so? Sorry to disappoint you though, I am not a brute strength Ogre. I am a mage Ogre.”

The Ogre smiles and gets away from Ryuga. Ryuga sighs from relief.

"If she stayed even a minute longer, I would have done things to her that even God himself wouldn’t have forgiven me for." Ryuga says to himself.

"She said she is a mage Ogre huh? That’s quite interesting. I mean, an Ogre is born way stronger than a normal human. Imagine, if one human is capable of taking on 3 humans, an Ogre is capable of taking on over 300 humans. That’s the capability of a single Ogre. A mage Ogre is quite rare though since Ogres don’t have high magical prowess and that’s their one weakness." Ryuga thought.

“Anyways, let me see your card.”

The Ogre looks at Ryuga’s ID card which is hanging over his neck.

“Let’s see, Aragi Ryuga, age 16, I see, I see, you are a first year.Which means you will be sitting ahead of me!”

The Ogre raises her hand in excitement.

“Are you also a first-year?”

Ryuga asks.

“Don’t think I am a normal first year, Ryuga. You don’t mind me if I call you Ryuga, right? I have heard that Japanese people don’t like being called by their first name, you don’t mind it right?! Right?!”

The Ogre gets close to Ryuga’s face again. The thought that Ryuga had at that time was,

“Too close! Boobs! Way too close!”

“I won’t!”

Ryuga quickly replies.

“Good then! I will call you Ryuga and you can call me Alicia! Oh right, my name is Alicia Arkwet. Nice to meet you, Ryuga Aragi!”

There is a smile on Alicia’s face and a sigh of disappointment that comes from Ryuga’s mouth.

Alicia takes Ryuga around with her. It’s kinda like giving a tour of Ghost World Academy.

“You said you were not a normal first year, what did you mean by that?”

Ryuga asks while walking with Alicia.

“Oh that, I am a student-teacher, so basically, I teach as well as study at this academy.”

Alicia says.

“Wait what?!”

Ryuga is totally lost due to what Alicia said.

“Yeah, I teach humans about different types of basic magic but at the same time, I am still studying about limiters. So yeah, I don’t know anything about limiters.”

Alicia says.

“Isn’t that like pushing yourself though? I mean, do you really need to do it?”

Ryuga questions Alicia’s decision to become a student-teacher.

“It’s important so yeah...I need to do it.”

Ryuga realizes something when he looks at Alicia's smile.

"That smile of hers, I can read it. I can read it because I have this special intuition to know who is lying and not and her smile here is a fake one. Why would she smile like that? Tsch! What am I doing?! I shouldn’t get involved in someone else’s life." Ryuga thought.

Thinking about that Ryuga doesn’t question Alicia on her fake smile and Alicia continues to show Ryuga around Ghost World Academy.

“This is our class.”

Alicia says. She and Ryuga both stand in front of the door leading to Class 1-A,

“Class 1-A, I should have guessed that I would be in 1-A since my last name does end with an A.”

Ryuga says while looking up at the board that is hanging outside the door to the Class.

“Anyways let’s go inside!”

Alicia pulls Ryuga with her,

“Woh, wait-“

Inside the class, Ryuga finds some interesting people. The class contains a total of 20 seats in total with 17 taken by different students. 9 humans and 8 different types of species have taken their respective seats. With Ryuga and Alicia inside the class, it makes 10 humans and 9 different types of species in total now. It seems one person is still missing though.

Ryuga looks at the window seat in the front row, that’s where his name is written in bold letters. Right behind him, Alicia Arkwet is written in bold letters. Ryuga also glances at the tall boy sitting next to him with both his legs on the table and hands behind his head like he is resting. That person is a human.

"That brown pompadour and the delinquent jacket he is wearing, I can recognize that guy anywhere. He is the guy that my father talks a lot about, Kirio Dakai. He is the same age as me but he has many achievements to his name.

From what I have heard, he had a delinquent gang that he was the leader of. He definitely was a delinquent in the perspective that he skipped classes and smoked and stuff at an age he shouldn’t but more importantly, he has helped the police a lot. His delinquent nature makes him scary but he really isn’t that scary once you get to know him. That’s all I know about him because dad really liked him. At least that’s the impression I got from the way he used to talk about him.

It would be best if I judged him on my own accords though and not on someone else’s words. That would be kinda bad for me if I believed everyone’s words, wouldn’t it?"

Ryuga had an inner monologue.

Another person that Ryuga notices is a demon sitting right behind Kirio. The reason Ryuga could recognize he is a demon because his eyes glowed black for a few minutes. Just like how humans blink their eyes every 3 to 4 seconds, a demon shows their presence after every few seconds by turning their eyes completely black. It’s kind of their way of blinking. The name written in bold letters on the desk was, Clayton.

Ryuga takes his seat and Alicia goes to the teacher’s desk. She looks around and smiles for a bit.

“Alright everyone, I am Alicia Arkwet, I am a student-teacher. If you guys don’t know what student-teacher is, I will teach you all about the basics that you guys need to know in the first year as well as learn about the advanced ways of the heroes.”

Alicia says with a smile.

"Oh, that’s right, heroes. The other worlders or the other species call Ghosts, heroes. Now that I think about it, why couldn’t everyone just call Ghosts, heroes? Really, humans are so lame and I am a human myself. In other words, I am lame too." Ryuga thought.

Some time passes while Alicia teaches the basics of this world to the students,

“Let’s talk about the limiters we all have inside us. There are a total of five limiters within our body. The first limiter unlocks massive physical strength, so we call it Physical Limiter. The second limiter adapts to nature. Basically, you will master an element when you unlock the second limiter. The element can be anything, from pure muscle strength to a fiery hot fire. We call the people who have unlocked the second limiter, Elementalist. This is also the best time for a person to start looking for someone who would undertake them for training since learning an element is easy but controlling it is very tough. For us first years, this is will be our main focus, the basics, and advance of Physical Limiter and Elemental Limiter. I will be teaching you all the basics and advance of Physical Limiter and another teacher who is a hero will be arriving soon to teach you all the basics and advance of Elemental Limiter.”

The explanation went on for quite some time.

The bell for the lunch break rings,

“Alright, that’s the lunch break. After the lunch break, we will be having Elemental Limiter lessons.”

Alicia says and then everyone except Ryuga and a few other students walks out.

“RYUGA! HOW WAS MY LECTURE?!”

Alicia hops in front of Ryuga. Ryuga sighs,

“It was good.”

Ryuga smiles and answers Alicia. Alicia happily smiles and her horn twitches.

"When an Ogre is happy, their horn twitches. It’s a very minor twitch but it shows their emotions. The only other emotion I know is that when an Ogre is angry, their horn turns red." Ryuga explained via an inner monologue.

“Let’s eat lunch together Ryuga!”

Alicia says and removes her lunch box. Ryuga removes his bento. Alicia's eyes sparkle after she looks at Ryuga’s bento.

“Have you never seen a bento?”

Ryuga asks Alicia.

“Nope! Never!”

Alicia says.

Ryuga sighs,

“Alright, let me show you this good old bento.”

Ryuga says and opens his bento. Alicia’s mouth starts watering from the food that’s inside Ryuga’s bento.

“You can have some of it.”

Ryuga says.

“Seriously?! Okay!”

Alicia takes an onigiri from the box and eats it.

“Here you can have mine too.”

Alicia opens her lunch box which contains...Weird green goo.

“What’s this?”

Ryuga is squinting and sweating while asking the question.

“It’s the famous edible green slime. It’s the best Ogre food in the whole world.”

Alicia says with a smile.

Ryuga looks at the box and says,

“I think I will pass.”

“Oh? Alright, I will eat it then.”

Alicia says and starts eating the green goo. Ryuga looks the other way because he was about to vomit after seeing that.

Ryuga hears slurping noises. He looks behind at a boy slurping some blood from a blood packet about two benches behind him. The boy has quite pale skin. He is also quite handsome but the main feature the boy has to be the two fangs popping out of his upper lips.

“Hi.”

The boy waves at Ryuga.

“Are you by any chance...A vampire?”

Ryuga asks the boy.

“Ah yes, the blood must have made it very clear.”

The boy answers Ryuga.

"The blood doesn’t make anything clear...There are other species who feast on blood as well. You are the least threatening one though." Ryuga thought.

“Anyways, my name is Gordon Jordon, nice to meet you Ryuga Aragi.”

The boy introduces himself with a smile.

“I don’t feel so good, mother...Help me...I feel like I am going to be attacked at any time.”

“Oh right, there is another vampire other than Gordon in our class though.”

Alicia says.

“Hmm?” Ryuga looks at Alicia.

“Yeah, she is a female vampire. I heard that she is supposed to be like a prodigy within the vampires or something and she doesn’t reveal her fangs easily because she is some kind of noble or something within those lines.”

Alicia confuses Ryuga even more.

“Don’t look so confused Ryuga.”

Ryuga realizes the slurping noises got closer and freaked out.

“Why are you afraid of me? I am not interested in your blood. I am more of an elf bloodsucker.”

Gordon says.

“Elf...Bloodsucker huh?”

“Anyways, you don’t need to be so confused, Ryuga. If you have any doubts about vampires, you can ask me.”

Gordon says as he continues to slurp the final remaining blood within the blood packet.

“What’s this about noble vampires and all?”

Ryuga asks.

“Ah that, you see, I am a commoner so my fangs are long and scary. So people usually run away from me because they think that I will drink their blood plus I have a weakness to the sun. I can walk in it but I can’t use any kind of powers of mine when I am in the sun. When it comes to nobles, it’s quite the opposite. They easily blend in with everyone. They can walk in the sun and their blood needs to be of the highest quality possible. In other words, the blood needs to be of a virgin preferably the virgin must be of their opposite gender but that’s optional.”

Gordon explains about the vampires.

Ryuga’s knowledge of vampires went up by quite a bit. He didn’t know how the vampire world worked but now he has an idea about it. The lunch break soon got over and everyone went back to their seats.

"A new teacher did arrive in our class. She was a big busty elf who called herself Freda Masters. That’s all there was to it though. There was nothing in particular that happened in the class except for the fact that she taught us somewhat about the Elemental Limiter but it wasn’t like I was paying attention to it.

I don’t understand why am I even here? There is nothing interesting about this class. I don’t have any interest in being a Ghost so why did I enter this specific high-school. I don’t want to know about some limiters or saving someone. I just want a normal life. My normal life must much more interesting." Ryuga explained via an inner monolgue.

Ryuga waves goodbye to Alicia and Gordon as both of them have a different train to catch which leaves for their world while Ryuga has to catch the train that leads to his world.

"Well, at least they are some cool people but it’s weird saying that. I mean, one is an Ogre and another is a vampire. It’s so weird making acquaintances like them. I wonder...If they feel weird talking to me too." Ryuga thought.

Ryuga reaches home and goes upstairs,

“Ryuga, dinner is ready sweetie!”

“I will eat it once I get some sleep.”

Ryuga goes to the bed and straight away sleeps.

"Mayumi is on mind currently. My ex who broke up with me yesterday, She is quite a beauty but the reasons we came in a relationship were all wrong. “What I thought you hated Ghosts?! Now you are prepping to be the very thing you hate?!” Yeah, that’s what she said to me. I mean, I never did anything that implied I hated Ghosts, did I?" Ryuga thought.

Ryuga gets good sleep and wakes up after a few hours. It’s almost 1 am and Ryuga walks down to get some food.

"I don’t understand the reason she hates the Ghosts. I mean her own father is the famous SS-Rank Ghost Bleed. His ability is that he can manipulate any kind of blood. He just needs blood in his hands, that’s his. They call him The Blood Elementalist Bleed.

Mayumi is no different than her father. She can manipulate her blood as well. Yeah, she is already what they call an Elementalist. There is a minute difference between her ability and her father’s ability. Her ability is that she can only manipulate her own blood while her father can manipulate any kind of blood whether it is animal blood, human blood, or any other creature’s blood. It just needs to be blood." Ryuga explained via inner monologue.

Ryuga walks out of his house in his shorts and t-shirt. He is walking his way to somewhere while the wind is blowing hard.

"You know what’s funny, I am feeling really stressed out just thinking about it. I know I liked her and everything but I shouldn’t be stressing out this much. I mean, it was coming onto me. This whole relationship started because of a misunderstanding but still, I need to let my stress out. What better place than this to let out my stress." Ryuga thought.

Ryuga stands in front of a children’s park and gives a smile of relief.

"Yes! This is my paradise, no one else will understand the feeling of my paradise because this is the best place to relieve my stress!" Ryuga thought.

Ryuga hopes onto a see-saw and starts riding it up and down. While he is at it, he also keeps on smiling.

"Yes, this children’s park is a place where I come when I feel down or I feel stressed out or even if I feel like punching someone. For normal boys, their best stress reliever is masturbating, playing games, or playing with a fidget spinner or something around that point but for me, this is my best stress reliever." Ryuga thought.

Ryuga is building a sandcastle.

"Some might say I am childish but once they have a kid, don’t they play these very childish games with them? I mean a caring parent would, at least my mother used to. Now she doesn’t but she used to play a lot with me when I was a kid. The things that kids do, they don’t feel stress because of this very reason. It’s very fun riding a see-saw, it’s fun going inside an igloo and coming out, it’s fun building a sandcastle, it’s fun and at the same time, it’s an outdoor activity strengthening our body. That is the very reason, this is my paradise. And no one would come into my paradise. I mean who would be here at around 2 am huh?" Ryuga thought but...

“Hey...What the hell are you doing?” A familiar figure stands behind Ryuga. Ryuga turns around and sweats heavily to a point that the whole sand under him is getting wet from his sweat.

"That’s right no one...But this person could have walked onto me, could he now? WHY THE HELL IS KIRIO DAKAI HERE AT 2 FUCKING AM?!!!!"

Ryuga and Kirio sit on a bench in the children’s park. Kirio gives Ryuga a disgusted look.

“What the hell dude? You were playing in a children’s park? Like the fuck is wrong with you?”

Kirio questions Ryuga’s insanity.

Ryuga sighs,

“I just felt stressed out and I came here. After all, this is my stress reliever.”

Ryuga says.

“Did you run into some kind of Ghost problem or something?”

Kirio asks Ryuga.

“Nothing that drastic, it’s just I had a breakup. That’s it.”

Ryuga says.

Kirio sighs,

“So you are having the modern age every kid breaks up with their current girlfriend problem huh?”

There is a moment of silence,

Kirio sighs again,

“Fine...Talk to me about this girlfriend of yours.”

Kirio says.

“Why the hell would I tell you my problems? You are a total stranger to me.”

Ryuga points at Kirio and speaks.

“THE FUCK DUDE?! I SIT RIGHT NEXT TO YOU IN CLASS! AND I KNOW YOU ARE OLD BALDY’S SON!”

Kirio screams at the top of his lungs.

“I don’t know anything about you, Kirio Dakai.”

Ryuga raises his hand.

“Silent but dangerous my ass, you are nothing like what that old baldy said! You are an unnecessarily giving unreasonable answers bastard!”

Kirio grits his teeth in anger.

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

Ryuga says with a stoic expression.

“What doesn’t make sense is how the hell are you that old baldy’s kid?!” Kirio points at Ryuga. “That’s because father and mother had sex and popped me out.”

Ryuga says. Kirio holds his anger inside him and starts to rub his nose.

Ryuga begins to chuckle a bit.

“Huh? What’s with you now?”

Kirio asks Ryuga.

“Nothing, it’s just that seeing you hold back your anger is funny.”

Ryuga says as he holds his laughter.

“Seriously dude, you have some issues if you like angering people.”

Kirio says to Ryuga.

“No, I don’t like angering people but because of that pompadour of yours, it’s quite funny. It goes boing boing when you try to scream.”

Ryuga smiles at Kirio.

“Oi, that’s my hair you’re talking about. Don’t make fun of it.”

Kirio looks angrily at Ryuga.

“Sorry, but you are no Josuke.”

Ryuga chuckles and tries to control his laughter.

“Hmm? You read Jojo’s as well?”

Kirio asks Ryuga.

“Yeah, it’s one of my favorite manga.”

Ryuga says.

“Oh?! You should have recognized it then?”

Kirio grins and asks Ryuga.

“Yeah, that coat of yours as well as the hairstyle is inspired by him, right?”

Ryuga asks Kirio.

“YES! Exactly! I love his character. So I tried to become just like him once but since it failed miserably...”

Kirio looks away,

“So, is he the reason you want to be a Ghost?”

Ryuga asks.

“No, my reasons are different.”

There was a glint of sadness in Kirio’s eyes.

“If you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me what your reason is?”

Ryuga asks.

“First tell me about your girlfriend issue dude. You haven’t even told me about that.”

Kirio says and holds his hands.

In a few minutes, a huge scream was heard within the park,

“WHAT YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS THAT MAYUMI REVONS?!”

The scream was none other than Kirio’s himself.

“Yeah, what happened was that I got in a relation with her because we were in the same middle school and there was an attack by some organization. A Ghost appeared and swoop the floor with that organization and everyone was excited to watch this fight except for us two.”

"That’s right she asked me that question, “Why aren’t you going to watch that battle?” All I could say was that I didn’t have any interest in watching that battle. After all, I seriously had zero interest in that battle." Ryuga thought.

“From that point onwards, we became close friends, and a year after that, we started dating in our final year of our middle-school but when I told her that I couldn’t get hold of any high-school and I am going to Ghost World Academy. She got really pissed off and told me that she thought I hated Ghosts. I don’t understand at all, at what point I ever gave her the idea that I hated Ghosts.”

Ryuga looks confused after talking about his problem.

Kirio holds Ryuga by his shoulder,

“Dude...Both you and her have a serious problem. How can you guys misunderstand hate and no interest?! HOW?!”

Kirio looks frustrated at Ryuga.

“I don’t know how to answer that question...”

Ryuga speaks and suddenly Kirio realizes something.

“ARAGI!”

Kirio pulls Ryuga off of the bench with him while the bench gets destroyed by a huge boulder.

“You okay Aragi?!”

Kirio asks Ryuga.

“Yeah, I am good but what was that?”

Ryuga and Kirio both get back on their feet.

“Someone threw that huge boulder and I see someone under it...”

It looks like Kirio is sweating.

Kirio looks at the park’s entrance,

“Oi, Aragi isn’t that your Ogre friend?”

Kirio points at the familiar figure that is Alicia walking towards them.

Ryuga realizes something,

“There is something wrong about her...”

“Aragi, isn’t that your Ogre friend?” |

Kirio asks Ryuga.

“Yeah but there is something wrong with her, it’s almost as if...She is crying...I can confirm those tears aren't fake since her horn is leaning down.”

Ryuga says pointing out that distinct feature.

“What?!”

Kirio looks confused.

“Run Ryuga...This is dangerous.”

Alicia says to Ryuga. Ryuga wasn’t wrong when he said that Alicia was crying. She most definitely is crying.

“I can’t control my body Ryuga, you have to run.”

Alicia says to Ryuga.

“She can’t control her body? What does that mean?!”

Kirio looks confused.

“Alicia! Talk to me, what’s wrong? Why can’t you control your body-“

Alicia suddenly catches Ryuga’s arm.

“GYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!”

The man under the boulder breaks it. He wears a red bandana on his head, a hander-kerchief mask on his face, and a goggle to cover his eyes.

“Don’t worry! I will save you, kids, right away!”

The man rushes toward Alicia.

“That’s a bandana mask! He is a B-Class Ghost.” Kirio says.

"Shit! Why did you have to get up and say that?! Just because of this guy’s idiocy, now Alicia will throw me at him." Ryuga thought.

Just like Ryuga predicted, Alicia threw him at Bandana Mask. Both Ryuga and Bandana Mask crash at the wall behind them. Ryuga’s landing is soft thanks to Bandana Mask’s cover behind him but it seems that Kirio is the one that’s in danger. Alicia is making easy work of him by punching and kicking him.

“Hey, what’s wrong with Alicia? Why is she like that?”

Ryuga asks Bandana Mask while getting back on his feet.

“It was my mistake.”

Bandana Mask says.

“What do you mean your mistake?”

Ryuga asks Bandana Mask.

“Alicia is a Ghost just like me. She is an A-Rank Ghost who was investigating Illuminati and we found a main member of the Illuminati and arrested him. He was a scientist within the Illuminati creating bugs that are so minute that it can go inside you even through your nostrils. So that’s why I was selected on this mission as well. My second key, small eyes helps me scan the smallest thing in every area, whether it is a bug or even the smallest particle. With my second key’s help, we destroyed those bugs pretty easily or that’s what we thought. My second key wasn’t able to stop a bug get away and take control of Alicia...”

Bandana Mask gets up.

"I just want to say. What the hell is the second key? Why does he keep on mentioning it? It’s almost as if it’s important to have a second key for a Ghost." Ryuga thought.

“SECOND KEY: DESTRUCTIVE HANDS!”

Ryuga looks at Alicia and he couldn’t believe what he saw. Her hands turned into maces.

“I am telling you to run away! Why don’t you understand?!”

Alicia looks concerned and crying at the same time.

Kirio keeps dodges a mace attack from Alicia’s hand by rolling to his left.

“I would have run if you had given me a chance! And if you gave me a chance I wouldn’t have run. That’s because you are a friend of a Jojo fan.”

A beaten-up Kirio says to Alicia.

"No seriously, you are free to run and plus she isn’t my friend, she is my acquaintance nothing more." Ryuga thought.

“There is seriously no one here who can match Alicia’s physical ability and the people who are capable of doing that are still on their way here.”

Bandana Mask says.

“Hey, we just have to take off that bug from her heart right?”

Ryuga asks.

“Nope, you can’t do that. The bug can’t come off her heart or else it will explode.”

Bandana says.

“What?!”

Ryuga looks confused.

“There is nothing we can do but kill her...”

"This is bad if the bug is attached to her heart and removing it kills her. This is worst than I thought. Way worse than what I thought it would have been." Ryuga thought.

“There is a theory though.”

Bandana Mask looks at Alicia.

“What’s the theory?”

Ryuga asks.

“If the person under the bug’s control stops the blood supply to the heart for a few seconds, it might work but it's way too risky.”

Bandana Mask explains the theory of Ryuga.

"Looking back at the past, my old man did teach me about stopping the blood supply to the heart but that’s just to straight-up kill someone and is lethal. If I use my palm with full force and attack her heart, it will stop her heart but wait...Isn’t she an Ogre? An Ogre’s specialty is when their heart stops beating, they enter a frenzy state mode in which they have a few minutes to gain back control to their body or else they will die within a few minutes. It’s risky but it’s the only risk I am willing to take." Ryuga explained via an inner monologue.

“Hey Bandana Mask, if I stop the blood supply, can you take out that little bug that is inside her?”

Ryuga asks Bandana Mask.

“What?! How are you going to stop her blood supply without killing her?!”

Bandana Mask asks Ryuga.

“Just trust me.”

Ryuga says as he runs right between Kirio and Alicia.

“HEY WAIT! SHIT!”

Ryuga punches Alicia right in her face and pulls her focus away from Kirio.

“Ryuga?! What the hell are you doing?!”

Kirio looks confused.

“Wow...That punch had no effect on you huh?”

Ryuga doesn’t look surprised.

“Ryuga, don’t fight me! You will die!”

Alicia says.

Ryuga smiles,

“No, I won’t die and nor will you. I will save you, so don’t worry.”

Ryuga says with a smile.

“Eh?! Isn’t this like the hero comes to rescue a lady moment?!”

Kirio questions.

"I don’t know why...I am dodging her attacks and trying to tilt that bug away from everyone else and have its focus on me. It’s almost as if I am enjoying doing this, enjoying saving people huh? That’s something a Ghost would say. I have no interest in Ghosts or their ideals or anything like that but yet here I am trying to save an Ogre who I barely know." Ryuga thought.

Alicia both her hands around Ryuga’s head and Ryuga slides right under her and gets cornered by a wall. Ryuga takes a stance with his right palm in the front and his left palm near his hip.

"This is something father taught me when I was 7. He said this is a technique that I should use only when my life is in danger. I know he said that I should use this technique only if my life is in danger but what if someone else’s life is in danger. He never said what I should do then, did he? I guess...He would say something like, “Why don’t you figure it out?” After all, he loves giving me hard puzzles to solve." Ryuga thought.

Alicia charges at Ryuga at full speed.

"Close your eyes. Don’t pay attention to your surroundings. I know that both Bandana Mask and Dakai are worried about me but don’t pay attention to them. Only pay attention to the sounds of the wind and I will know where the attack is coming from. Nothing was heard by everyone in the vicinity except for a small *THUD* which was Ryuga’s palm which landed slightly to the left of Alicia’s chest.

“I SEE IT!”

Bandana Mask says and throws a knife between Ryuga and Alicia killing the bug.

Ryuga smiles,

“I am surprised you didn’t go into Frenzy.”

Ryuga says.

“Yeah, I practiced a lot to control my Frenzy but I am surprised you were able to-Guh!”

Ryuga’s smile suddenly turns into despair as he looks at Alicia’s cold eyes and even Kirio and Bandana Mask who were there had nothing but shock on their face. A blood-like spike came right through Alicia’s chest and Ryuga's hand.
