Jade Water Sect.
Chief Master went into seclusion for half a month after he returned from the Core Formation Ceremony of Luoyun Valley. Today, he suddenly came out and summoned his disciples to to listen to his lecture. However, any difficulties the disciples had in cultivation could be resolved by him.
On the square in front of the sect hall, the Feng Yin Taoist sat cross-legged on the platform. He was explaining the question proposed by one of his disciples in detail.
"Golden Water Swordsmanship Style ranks at the middle grade of Xuan level, and combines water and gold cultivation methods. When cultivating, one needs to use both methods. There is gentleness in strength, or vise versa, so it can't be practiced if one fails to get the hang of it. However, it also needs more efforts in the process of making breakthroughs. With such a combination of toughness and softness, one can use onlyhalf of the energy to achieve the same result and redouble the speed of his cultivation."
Feng Yin nodded with satisfaction when he saw that the disciples more or less got enlightened by his words. However, right at this moment, his expression suddenly changed. His eyes were filled with fear as he stared intently at the southeastern sky.
Two dazzling beams of light penetrated through the clouds. The powerful spiritual pressure, even hundreds of meters away, still made people breathless. Their faces instantly turned pale, and their eyes were filled with shock.
Fortunately, the beams of light didn't stop at all. They whistled through the air above Jade Water Sect and went straight to the northwest.
The anxiety of Feng Yin was slightly dissolved after the two beams of light disappeared. He frowned tightly and whispered to himself, "Qingyun Taoist and Alchemy Taoist are so aggressive, as if they were to kill someone. What happened to two geezers? Does anyone dare to provoke them in the current Beihua State? "
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Before the thought came to a stop, the swishing sound was heard one after another in the air. The sounds became so intensive that they finally united into one! Feng Yin raised his head in astonishment and saw hundreds of rays of light in the sky, multicolored, but he didn't want to appreciate it at all. His lips trembled uncontrollably and his eyes were filled with shock as he watched hundreds of murderous cultivators leave.

"Beihua State is likely to undergo a disaster." Feng Yin's face was pale. He lowered his head to look at the disciples who were at a loss for words. He secretly sighed and waved her hand, "You can leave now. From today onwards, disciples of Jade Water Sect are not allowed to step out of the Mountain Gate. Otherwise, we will be severely punished!"
In the Beiming Mountain, an elder of a small sect was leading several disciples with high aptitudes to train here. Watching their disciples fight with a first-level demon wolf, he was somewhat satisfied. From time to time, he whispered to those respectful young men and women around him, "Watch and learn from your fellow Brother Feng’s movements. As a cultivator, strength is important, but battle experience also matters!" Back then, when I was a cultivator of Qi Refining, I coincidentally saw a rogue cultivator at the preliminary stage of Foundation Establishment kill a descendant of the cultivation clan who was at the Middle-stage of Foundation Establishment on the platform. He won because he had unprecedented momentum and rich fighting experience. "
"Yes, Uncle Master!" The group of younger generation members nodded repeatedly upon hearing this and replied in unison. Their faces were filled with awe.
The old man nodded with satisfaction. Just as he was about to speak, shock instantly appeared in his eyes.
Two extremely dazzling beams of light whistled past from the southeast. The powerful impact wave and the cold killing intent instantly stiffened the old man who did not dare to do anything. As for those disciples, they immediately collapsed on the ground, and their bodies instantly got wet with cold sweat.
Fortunately, these two rays of light disappeared very quickly, and disappeared in a few breaths.
"Cultivator of Gold Core!" The elder's face darkened instantly and he said in a low voice, "We should not stay here for long. Better leave here at once, in case greater dangers ensue!"
After that, he patted his forehead and took out a flying sword-like magic weapon, which stretched into dozens of meters long against the wind. When the disciples stepped on it, the elder clenched his hand and shouted, "Go!"

A green light flashed past, and the flying sword frantically fled into the distance.
The two Gold Core cultivators of Luoyun Valley led their disciples to charge forward with murderous intent, frightening many cultivators. Being carried away by the shock, the cultivators turned gloomy and they hurried away.
After the news was spread, the whole Cultivation World in Beihua State was dumbstruck! Especially after this matter, the news that the Earth Evil Sect was sealed immediately caused a stir among all cultivators. For a time, the entire Cultivation World in Beihua State was haunted by horror, and all cultivators felt a little gloomier.
At this moment, the person who had caused the uproar was lying in the cave and had no idea about it.
Slowly regaining his consciousness, Shiao Chen sat down with his legs crossed. The spiritual sense swept across his body, and then a bitter smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. Although the fight to kill Mingxiao Master this time didn’t last long, Shiao Chen had used all his means. In the end, he used the high-grade Dantian Treasure to prevent the latter from leaving the realm of Beasty Poison Pill, and he was heavily injured by the power of the counter force.
"Although I damaged many magic weapons and ended up seriously injured, it is worthwhile to kill that old Mingxiao monster!” A delighted look flashed in Shiao Chen's eyes. Now that the old Mingxiao monster was dead, his family would have less trouble in the future.
"I wonder if Shiao Lin has returned to the sect. What is the situation outside now?" Shiao Chen frowned slightly, with a hint of worry on his face, but there was nothing he could do, "Alright, it's better to recover my strength first. Mo Li! The day of my return will be your doomsday!
Killing intent flashed in Shiao Chen's eyes. He took out several bottles of elixirs from storage bag and put them in front of himself. He casually opened one of them and applied some refreshingly fragrant white ointment on his skin. The ointment was instantly absorbed into his body, and the bloody wound quickly became scabbed, but in a moment, he almost recovered.
After he dealt with the external injuries, Shiao Chen swallowed several pills and began to refine the efficacy.
Time passed quickly. As the bottles of elixirs in front of him became fewer and fewer, the breath in Shiao Chen's body gradually calmed down, and a vigorous life force slowly emerged from his body.
A few days later, a strange energy wave came out of the cave. If one examined it carefully, one would find that it was the phenomenon that would only be produced when a cultivator's spiritual energy was purified and strengthened when he broke through.
"Hmm, is there a cultivator breaking through the bottleneck here?" A few kilometers away from the cave, a gloomy looking middle-aged man suddenly raised his head and looked in the direction of Shiao Chen. Joy flashed across his eyes, and then he ran straight to the source of the energy wave.
"This is the place. It seems that person is in the cave." The gloomy man looked a little cautious. He first clapped his hand, then took out a half-round shield to protect himself. After which, he set up several layers of spiritual shield before slowly walking forward with a gourd-shaped treasure in his hand.
"Go!" The man let out a low roar. He pointed forward, before a fireball was instantly formed and landed directly at the entrance of the cave.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey. Steps of the Immortal Tree
Evan stood on a hill, staring calmly at the gate of his former clan. A crowd waited behind him, some eyeing the clan in an unresigned manner, others looking at their spiritual support. Some of the young children shivered at the gnawing cold. Wind howled in his ears, seemingly deploring his fate. A silvery cloud drifted over the mountains surrounding the compound. The roar of a river could be heard from underneath its frozen surface. He had reincarnated many years ago. Hailed as a prodigy from his youngest age, Evan had seemingly tread on a path to invincibility. He had gotten married with his childhood sweetheart and had cultivated with a group of friends, forming a considerable power of his own. Yet now, here he was, devoid of any path to move forward, with his energy locus destroyed. His wife was dead and his branch had been kicked out of the clan. He looked at his progeny that had been entrusted to him. The baby seemed content in his father’s strong arms, too young to understand anything but the warmth of the father’s beating heart. Signaling to the people behind him, he turned around and the procession gradually disappeared in the distance, as the sun gradually set and the stars acted as a guide. --- Author-san here.
