《ASTREA - A Game of Different Realities》Chapter 41

With a quick first step, I was running as fast as I can towards the serpent's corpse to pick up the freshly dropped equipment. I had no problems sneaking up inside the thick mist that was yet to evaporate and thankfully, it does not deal any damage anymore. Although it did not take long for them to notice me.
My Stealth was only effective until I was five metres away from the nearest player before their assassin shouted my position.
"So you really showed up, huh. How brave yet foolish."
-Miss
"Don't let give her the chance!-- Yuu! Pick up the loot before she gets any closer."
Fortunately, none of them was faster than me with my agility reaching eighty points and with additional twenty more through my equipment. There should be no idiot here who place all his free stats in agility to even get closer to match mine.
Because of this, I was able to dodge most of their attacks. But diving into a group of hostile enemies is still as dangerous as it sounds. With the number of weapons coming at me, I cannot dodge all the attacks and skills they threw. Just a few seconds in, some of the attacks that hit me put me in a critical condition.
[Hopeful Prayer activated]
The reason why I am still confident of rushing into the lion's den even after their seeing their barrage is because of this skill in Luna's Pendant. I was bathed in a warm light that soothes my spirit despite the chaos that was ensuing around me. It resulted in me not bothering to dodge anymore and focused solely at the dazzling loot on the mud.
Five seconds was enough for me to grab the items, but not enough for me to start running away from the encirclement of the enemy. That is when the healing properties of the pendant started to kick in.

Fortunately yet scary at the same time, 10% of the damage they have accumulated during that five seconds was enough for my HP to be full again.
This and a gulp of a healing potion was enough for me to escape their grasp.
Success! Is what I want to say, however, I still need to escape this place alive or I will lose more than I bargained for. I can choose to die with these items still in my possession, but I do not want to risk losing a level and any of my current equipment, especially this bow.
"Fucking hell Yuu! How can she get it first?"
"She is too fast, Boss. Her agility should be 100 points or more. And she also has that mysterious white light that made her tank all our abilities."
"That should be a one-time saving skill. Killing her should already be a breeze! Nameless, go catch her! You should be able to-"
The assassin, whose name is Nameless, did not care what his leader has to say and began chasing me. If any of them has any chance of match my agility, it should be him or their bow user and it looks like it is him who has the highest agility.
The fact that he is the one chasing me and not anyone else is already a win for me. From the ambush he did a while ago, I can deduce a lot of his points is also distributed in strength or else how can he, along with one arrow kill ChickB in a second.
It is also known that assassin type players like him should also have enough strength to kill their targets in a few hits that is why I am confident now that he and no one else was chasing me.
Although after all of that, he was still a few metres behind me even with the expected agility gap we should have. That is scary knowing that his agility is closer than my comfort. I do not know how he is able to do that, but I know I should avoid him as much in the future.

"What's your name baby?"
"?"
"If we continue running like this, I won't be able to catch you. So why don't you tell me your name before I let you escape."
His sudden proclamation of giving up made me look back for a moment to check if what he said is truly true. There were no signs of him stopping, so I did not stop to entertain him either.
"Why would I? I'm not an idiot."
"Hahaha. You got a point. I just thought you would be like our baby leader since both of you met before. Don't worry, someone strong should be a focal point in a guild. Gold Paradise isn't it?"
'!!! How did he know?! When I turned around? No, maybe even before that when we first met-- Damn this game for having no option to hide our guild badges.'
"That's that. You can return to your party… Geez, you got us this time. How should we explain this to Ice Princess?"
His words now bore weight since seconds after I heard that, I did not feel his presence following me. I check just to make sure and true to it, that assassin was nowhere to be found or any of his traces.
Stealth should also be out of the question when I am running this fast, so now going back to the city should be safe.
They should be worried about me.
I have not checked my messages for a while now. They might be confused about my sudden level up. I should fill them up with the details later. They will not believe what happened. For now, just letting them know I am good is enough.
[Where are you right now? What the hell have you been doing?]
[I'm going to tell you when we meet. I had to do some detour that's why I'm going to be late for quite a bit.]
[Make it fast. Richest Asian was looking for us when he noticed Michi's and my level went down. Seems like he needs all Officers to be present.]
[What does he want?]
[I don't know. All he said was it's time for the guild to move somewhere.]
[What is he talking about?]
[Dunno. He said he will only tell when we are together.]
Something big must have happened that Richest Asian wants us immediately. I did not have yet time to get accustomed to being placed in a high position at a stranger's guild and there is already a meeting that would be taking place. I hope he does not ask us to handle the matters of the guild.
Although as much as I worry about it, guilds problems could come later. This is the time for a celebration. I just stole a boss right in front of those people and got everything without any consequence. Well, they did kill my teammates, so they totally deserve it.
Now for the loot.
I have no clue what kind of equipment I have picked up since there was no time to even catch a glimpse of it. All I can think of at that time was pick up the shiny thing on the ground then run away. Yet now that I had the chance to check on it, I cannot help but smile.

The Plant Dungeon
I wrote this a while ago at my website. It is a mix of cultivation/dungeon with a few LitRPG themes, but not enough to justify the tag. I am migrating it here, so I don't have to keep paying WordPress for the site. I will continue writing this. So... Now for the synopsis. Follow the life of an unusual adventurer who got turned into a dungeon. Well... that was short. I guess I would just suggest reading the first few chapters to see how you like it. (remember, if enough people ask for it, I will continue writing it.) I have no Idea who owns the picture I used for the cover. If you want it down PM me and I'll take it down.
