On her entire life, this is the first time Li Xiao Er was shocked so many times that she already felt numb over it. Looking at two clenching their fist with strength, she currently feels beating them, when she saw how pleased they are. 'Didn't they know how to act thoughtfully?' Li Xiao Er suddenly regretted on teasing them. The fact they made contact with the Spirit already pulled themselves into the world of Onmyoji. Not only that, they are already at the stage of an expert, looking at their please expression. It seems like they didn't even suffer a hint of rebound! If an apprentice fuse with their Spirit, they will suffer pain or the Spirit will take over their body so looking at the way they fuse with Spirit was shocking for her. The ministry of onmyoji already treated her as a genius but compared to this two made her look-like a stone in front of a diamond. Furthermore, the control they have toward Spirit was like a game to them. 'Is this the disparity of a True Genius?'. She thought. "Wow I feel refresh, and I felt a boundless strength surging through my body;" Arvin commented with admiration. "Whahaha, with this we officially turned into a shaman, Ehe;" Romnick clenches his fist with shining eyes. "I never thought, that the thing we only see in anime can happen in reality, what a bizarre world." "You two, I advise you to separate with the Spirit, or else they will start consuming your soul." Li Xiao Er pouted. Romnick and Arvin shivered as they turned their head toward Li Xiao Er. " How?" Looking at their faces, Li Xiao Er regains some of her confidence as she proudly puffs her chest. "You can converse to your spirit to separate with you I have another method, but doing it was a waste of your 1st spirit. You are now part of the Onmyojie so helping you as your Senior was one of duty, ease your mind and feel the Spirit inside of you." She took a deep breath and continued. "When you feel the Spirit, it will transmit her/his thought to you, so talking to it will become easy." While explaining the way to separate the Spirit with her closed eyes, the two already sense the Spirit inside their body and ordered them to separate themselves. "The spirit your 1st contracted will have your connection within your soul, so I assume that it may take some time for the two of you to sense. But rest assured I will help you to..." Opening her eyes, she saw the two talking with their Spirit excitedly without minding her explanation. Seeing the two of them, Li Xiao Er was on the verge of tears. 'Is this how their treat the one who showed them the way to Onmyojie?" "Listen to me guys." Romnick and Arvin realized that they ignored Li Xiao Er because of excitement, so they turned their head with a Sorry expression. "So I am saying;" Li Xiao Er releases a cough. "Those Spirit will become your first Contractual Spirit, so I need to give you the basic Contractual Talisman. Spirit is not all the thing that an Onmyoji had they need to be stronger themselves so to make up from their deficiencies they practice the way of talisman." "While you are talented with the spirit, and if you are not in the talisman then I have to say that you will not become strong instead, they will devour your soul in exchange." Li Xiao Er sigh. The two shivered as they glance at the spirit beside them, so they listen to Li Xiao Er seriously as not to miss any of her words. Looking at them listening earnestly she smiled. "So, for now, I will give you this two Contractual Talisman. And if we have time, I will teach you two how to make a talisman." She took two talismans on her chest and handed them to Arvin and Romnick. "I will teach you the mantra to activate the talisman, so you have to listen carefully. Po Pwu Tis Wu." Li Xiao Er chants. The two imitated Li Xiao Er and chanted when the chant is over, the talisman on their hands flew towards the spirit and merged with them. Romnick and Arvin felt the spirit within their body, so they thought that they were successful. When they are about to sigh in relief, the door of the clinic open with a loud noise as it bumps into the fallen table, seeing the mess they made in the clinic. Romnick, Arvin and Li Xiao Er thought. "Crap." A woman with a doctor attire opens the door upon entering the first thing she thought was to ask the student about the patient, but when she saw her clinic in a mess, all of her equipment and documents are scattered all over the floor. Seeing this stunned her when she recovered from her state. "What did you do to my clinic!" So now the trio was sitting in Seiza, while Jack is on the way to his home, teleporting in a random place in his nearby house. Jack opened the door and saw his Big Sis Marie, leisurely eating snacks while watching on tv. "I'm home, Big Sis." Jack greeted his Aunt. "So how's the school." Sitting on a sofa with a comfortable position, she asked Jack without minding her embarrassing attire. "Well, it's okay. By the way, Big Sis, you are aware that I am a man, right?" Jack asked while looking at her aunt wearing nothing but her underwear. "So you're already aware of opposite sex, I thought you didn't mind though." "So what did you want to talk about Big Sis?" Jack didn't answer her but asked another question. "Well, my superior wants me to go to the Philippines next month, so want to come?" Marie said while eating a snack. "How long?" "15days or so, if we met an accident it may take a month. Don't worry I will ask for leave of absence to your school." Marie said casually. "Is it a mission?" "Basically yeah, I only need you as a company, this is also an opportunity to introduce you to my superior." "But oh well, they will treat as a young master if they know your origin though;" Marie said in a low voice. 'Young master?' But when he remembered the part where he took the pill with a letter, he realizes that his father was the founder of the organization of Marie. "So what's your decision?" "Okay." "Then we will leave next month you better study, for now, not to waste your school life." Jack made his way to his room as he was deep in thought. 'Status.' Alex and Julius, a pair of brothers, try their best to make it in a North America reshaped by an eldritch apocalypse. “Stop right there Philip!” Julius interrupted, the vein on his temple starting to throb. “I do not want to hear another simile about what magic is. I have had magic explained to me by three cult leaders, a wizard, and a cannibal. I've heard that magic is like a rainbow, all its parts blending together. The human unconsciousness, powerful and unknowable. A body, you don't want to eat the heart straight away. I am sick and tired of people telling me what magic is. I know damn well what it is.” He drew a breath, interrupting his rant. “Magic is a bad joke. A whole lot of setup, for some nonsense punchline. This whole god-damned apocalypse is an eldritch comedy.”
