"Do you think, they will change the exam?" A chubby youth ask the Asian girl beside him.
"Nope, teacher delayed the exam because of someone, you idiot. How could you attend this school if you are this dumb?" The Asian girl with black eyes, black hair, and sharp nose purse her lips with disdain.
"Sorry, Li Xiao Er, I didn't realize at first but after you mention it. I now know the reason why our teacher delayed the exam, I am jealous of how that kid deserve this, isn't only a waste of time?" The chubby youth also have a black hair, and eyes similar to the girl beside him, he was also an Asian youth.
"Fan Guoli, don't look down on others or else it will backfire on you. Stick with the lecture of Confucius 'Don't do unto what you don't want to be done unto you' that our Master taught to us, and furthermore that Jack is not simple at all." Li Xiao Er pursed her lips.
"Eh? Did you sense something from him, Xiao Er?" Fan Guoli exclaimed.
"Yes, my sense told me that he was a dangerous person." LI Xiao Er grips a talisman that she always took with her whenever she goes out. Her family belongs to the Onmyoji, so Li Xiao Er sixth sense was above average as she can see what others couldn't see.
"Goodmorning, are you all ready for the exam?" While the two were deep in thought, Tricia's voice wakes them from their trance. She surveyed the classroom as she notices that 3 of the seat are empty. She gritted her teeth in anger when she realizes that Jack and Romnick who she was worried the most are missing.
While she was surprised that Arvin was also missing, but the anger won over her surprise as she had the urge to shout their name.
"Damn you Romnick this is your fault;" Arvin complained as he entered the class.
"Ehe, you stupid cunt, you dare to blame me? I only help a person in distressed, while you tag along, that's not my fault."

"Tsk, if you get rid of that asshole immediately, but not only you didn't end it quickly. You even played with that asshole while making fun of him, what happened in the end, he runs with the bag of your person is distressed. So we ended up chasing him in the opposite direction of the school, tell me if you are not an idiot or else?"
Arvin and Romnick glared at each other, ready to lash out to fight. Jack look at the two with a helpless expression and notice Tricia with a smile on her face, looking at it, he shivered and sat on his seat.
"So are you guys want to take the exam or not?" A cold voice entered Arvin and Romnick ears as they shivered unconsciously.
Looking at the smiling face of their teacher cold sweat flowed to their cheek as they frost at their place. "T..teacher."
"You two meet me in the teacher's faculty later, take a seat don't waste my time."
"YES." They hurriedly took their sit while wiping their sweat.
"And you too Jack, don't think that I didn't notice you sneak while those two were causing a commotion."
Jack helplessly nod his head.
"So guys I will explain the rules of the exam, per subject will have a duration of 30mins. You are elite from all over the country, so you know what it means to be an elite, unlike to the other school they will have a 1hour of duration during the exam. But that not the case for all of you, this is not the same as the entrance exam, so you guys have to be serious about this."
"So you read the rules of the school, right?" Tricia said with a solemn expression.
"All of you need to get a 95% of the exam to pass if you got below the passing mark it's means that you fail, this is how harsh the school is. Also, all of you are aware that continuous failure is expulsion from the school, cheating is also prohibited so don't do anything that will damage your future."

"I have all of the exams on your every subject." Tricia distributed the papers from all of the students and sat on the front as she monitors the whole classroom.
"No break until the examination is done so it will be finished, after the lunch break. So good luck class." With that, the exam started.
All of the students were happily answering their papers while on the other side, a chubby student named Fan Guoli took a talisman as he put it on his lips while muttering in a low voice. Tricia notices Fan Guoli, but she didn't stop him, because she thought that he was praying.
Li Xiao Er silently shook her head. "Fatty Fan, you will eventually encounter bad luck, if you keep on doing that."
When Fan Guoli is finished chanting, a mist figure formed floating beside his back while putting the talisman inside his pocket.
'Master, what is your order?' When he heard the spirit, Fan Guoli smiled happily, as he ordered the ghost to go behind Arvin and look for his paper. An image appeared on his mind, as he seriously copied everything from Arvin.
"Being a person to control a spirit was convenient in many ways." When he thought, how he became Onmyoji, he was grateful that his father took him to that place. At first, he wants to go home when he saw how many ghosts suddenly appeared as he holds a summoning talisman. But after knowing their uses, a smile appeared on his face as he thought of himself as a genius.
Well, the temple of Onmyoji who practice the extermination and the uses of the spirit also thought that Fan Guoli was a genius for summoning so many ghosts. So being praised made him a little arrogant, and did as he pleases. The priest and other apprentice were having a headache with this disciple, so they decided to send him to this school.
Fan Guoli was also a lazy person he didn't do anything to himself as he ordered the spirit he summoned to cheat on his entrance exam. While he was not the 1st, he got one of the top ten position and enjoyed the praises of his classmate.
Jack who was busy on his exam, suddenly felt cold, so he turned his head and saw a ghost silently floating behind Arvin.
Using his psychic force, he caged the ghost with his psychic energy and spread his hand as he slowly clenches it into a fist. It releases his last cry as he turned to light energy dispersing to the nothingness, Fan Guoli covered his ears as the ghost cries echoed within his mind.
He gasps and suddenly felt the talisman on pocket turned to ash. Fan Guoli face turned pale, as he experiences the death of his spirit. 'The fuck, is that the rebound of a contract ghost after dying?"
When the ghost he contracted with died, he also felt being crush to death with that unknown force. He looks at the remaining talisman in his pocket as he trembled, he didn't want to experience that again. But at this rate, he will fail the exam, so he gritted his teeth and took a talisman and chanted.
Jack frown as he noticed that another spirit appeared behind Arvin, so he crushes it again with his psychic power. Fan Guoli fat face was drench in sweat, experiencing death again made him hesitate to use another talisman. But looking at his exam, he gritted his teeth with determination.
While the class was silent from their exam, one of the students keep on summoning while the other one keeps on crushing. This cycle continued, until the end of the examination.
Author (Aw, how did he keep his sanity from being killed anyway. HAHA)

But somehow, I had ended up worlds away instead. Far, far away from home, in a world that should have been just like mine, running and fighting for my life in a war I didn't understand. None of us knew why or how we were there or what we were ultimately supposed to accomplish. But that didn't really matter, did it? In my new world, there was only one rule: survive! --- Hey all, I'm Ken, and this is my first time sharing a story online. This story is heavily inspired by Terror Infinity, if it wasn't obvious from the title. I've been interested in making a Terror Infinity story for a while now, but I have a lot of problems with its system and mechanics, so I decided to just make my own system instead of trying to adapt to that one. If you find any mistakes, typos, or awkward phrasing please let me know in the comments so I can fix it! I hope everyone can enjoy this story but, even if you don't, please let me know why and what you think I can do to improve. Thank you. (The original picture for the cover can be found here)
