Inside the Long District, a prominent place for wealthy families.
Deep within, a two-story house separated from the other villas with a distance of 100 meters, a youth stared at the mirror with his brown eyes spark in pure innocence. On his hand, a piece of paper containing the result of his future, his hands trembled as he looks at the content nervously.
Suddenly, the paper fell from his hand. A bitter smile appeared on his face, as he already expected the result of his exam.
"Yen Yen will not despise me, right?" Jack thought.
Her Classmate Yen Yen took the time to guide him to passed their exam but the result was still the same, he doesn't know why the knowledge he learns always disappear after the end of the day. He has a photographic memory but all of the things he saw with his ability, could only last for a moment.
"That retard came back."
A 12-year-old student said in a low voice.
"What the point of studying, his grade didn't improve after being taught by our Goddess Yen Yen."
"The f***, she taught him for a month but only got 2 points in the exam, what a waste, to be with our school number 1 beauty."
"Isn't nice if he stops coming to school."
Jack calmly walks through the hallway, ignoring the harsh word of the crowd. Being mocked and humiliated for a year made him numb, this also cause of him to mature earlier than his peers.
"Jack, don't be afraid, Yen Yen will be there for you." He muttered as he looks at the door in front of him. Mustering his courage, he entered the room with a smile on his face.
Upon his first step, a glass-like thing appeared on his vision, before he could think of anything a shiver ran throughout his body. He looks at his wet uniform and his classmate, but when he saw a familiar silhouette laughing at him, his world crumbled apart.
A beautiful teen girl was looking at him with a warm smile on her face. Beside her, a handsome boy was laughing at him while holding her waist.
"Shocked aren't you?" The handsome boy said in a teasing tone.
"Yen Yen, why are you with him?"
Before the girl could say anything, the boy interrupted as he sneered coldly. "Fool, she is my fiancee, we only played a little game, so she with you in that month of time. Do you know what our bet is?"
Yen Yen tried to convince Clarence to stopped but only got a fierce look, a hint of displeasure appeared on her beautiful face. "My fiancee will teach you everything she knows about the exam to help you reach the top ten, but it seems, I overestimated you. Before, Yen Yen and you, are destined to be husband and wife. But because of your dumbness, you lose all the fortune of your parents and your woman."

"What do you mean, Clarence!" Jack shouted. As he suddenly felt something happen to his parent.
"You will know soon."
Jack swallowed his anger after glancing at Clarence and Yen Yen.
"You and your family will pay for this."
Looking at Jack running silhouette, Yen Yen suddenly felt nervous. Clarence notices the girl expression as he already knew her thought.
"Don't worry he can't cause harm to us. Today he will lose everything together with his family."
Jack ran madly to return home as he felt that a crisis befalls on his family.
Jack father was a real estate and medical businessman, producing a cure was his father forte as he was a doctor. While his mother came from a lower class citizen that made a living through the effort.
His father and mother met at the university where they fell in love with each other. After their graduation, she got pregnant and married his father, that's how Jack came to be.
After returning home, Jack became restless as he paces around his room, he felt his phone vibrated so hurriedly answered the call.
"Dad!" Jack shouted in worry.
"Jack, listen to me, your mom and I encountered a problem in the company so we will be away from home. I already called your aunt so wait for her."
Son, you have to remember that we love you, I promise that we will return as soon as possible. So don't worry about us."
"Westley, hurry they already caught up to us, at this rate we will all die."
Bang
"Dad! What is that sound, are you okay dad!" Jack shouted, but he can't any longer hear a response on the other side.
Jack strength left his body as he drops his phone on the ground. He sat on the floor hugging his head as he thought of that sound because his dad collected a lot of it in his secret chamber, he was quite familiar with it. "Father, don't die, don't leave me alone."
Jack cried all day until his tears dried up when the night arrives he stand up with difficulty as he felt numb on his feet. He looks at the reflection of himself as he thought.
Why did you give me this curse!
Do I deserve this!?
Tell me!
They call me TRASH but I know deep inside that I am a genius because I can memorize the content of the book in a single look, if not for this curse you gave me I will not be useless as I am now!
My father called it Photographic memory, but why do I forget all the things I learn in a single moment.
Jack look at the mirror with a grievance, he punches the mirror with all of the strength he can muster. Blood poured out on his hand, as the mirror broke into a piece. A vault suddenly appeared in his view.
He opened the vault and saw a bottle of pills, he carefully looks at the bottle and noticed a bone sign that indicated that it was a deadly pill.

There was also a letter together with the bottles.
"[Do not consume]
A lot of experts gathered to develop this pill to enhance the human genes. For what purpose?
For survival!
We have to succeed because the human will face an extinction I am not sure when will it happen. But a lot of strange things appeared on earth, a monster, mutant and heavenly herb that can turn a human into supernatural.
Someday, the earth will face a calamity that will lead to catastrophe. Westley Ford.
"HAHAHA." Jack laugh.
Let it end! I don't care if the world end and I can't do anything about it, with this curse of mine I will be useless anyway.
Jack look at the pill as he let out a smile.
"Dad, Mom, I will follow you now." He shoved all the pills inside of his mouth, a pain spread through his being as he let out a painful howl. A light blue fire appeared on his blood vessel as it runs amok destroying everything in its path, the blood that contains impurities continued to pour out of his body, pureblood started to circulate with that blue fire in harmony.
Jack was convulsing and kept on bashing his head on the floor. He felt that all of the things that make a person to a human suddenly disappeared.
The wrath that hides deep inside his heart was gone, the feeling of affection, attachment, and everything, it was slowly fading.
Jack blue eyes look at the family picture atop on his desk, a memory unknown to him suddenly surge on his brain, the humming of his mother on her belly. The touch of his father on her stomach, a stream of tears appeared from the corner of his eyes. 'Before I lose this emotion, I will cry for my parents until it disappeared.'
After suffering from pain, he lost consciousness as his breathing continued to slow down then finally stop.
...
Two days later, a woman on her 20s appeared in front of a two-story house. Standing in front of the door, she let out a light sigh as a complicated feeling surface in her heart. Jack was her nephew that she hadn't seen for almost eight years, so standing in this house made her think of some memories she doesn't want to remember.
"Hello, Jack your aunt is here can you open the door?"
"..................."
"Jack!" The woman runs out of patience and kicks the door open with her long legs.
When she entered the house, she was stunned as she saw the house void of people and noise. She touches the dust on a wall then smell it.
After a thorough inspection, the house seems abandoned two days ago. She started to get nervous as she anxiously walks into Jack's room.
She arrives at the familiar room and saw Jack lying in his pool of blood. She was shocked and scared that her nephew will die.
She felt a sudden ache from the heart, carefully taking his wrist as she examined his pulse. When she heard a weak pulse from him, she was overjoyed and hurriedly took a blanket then covered him with it.
She took Jack to her car to take him to the nearby hospital, the doctor and nurses panicked as they saw Jack clothes coated with blood.
"Doctor, how's my nephew?"
"He will be fine after getting a few days of rest."
"Thank you." The woman bowed to the doctor.
"No no, it is our responsibility."
After the doctor left, the woman sat beside Jack as she peels an apple on her side. When she was about to tease Jack from his coma, she noticed that his eyes move.
The woman hurriedly got out of the room and called for a doctor. After she left, Jack opened his eyes as he unconsciously touched his head because of a severe headache. His blue eyes glimmered before turning to his normal brown eyes.
He had a dream.
In that dream, he was flying in the middle of corpses, looking below with disdainful look. When he saw that man face, the man on his dream look at his direction with a cold smile.
That smile made him terrified he wanted to wake up, but it was in vain.
"Fool terrified with your future self!?"
When he heard that word, Jack jolted awake as his hand land on the table beside him, nearly, knocking down the vase of flower on the top of it.
"Jack, Thank God, you are awake." Jack heard a woman voice on his side.
"Who are you?" Jack ask without any hint of emotion.
"Oh, I am your aunt, Marie, how awful of you to forget me." Marie made a sorrowful face as she approaches Jack, looking at his empty expression, she felt quite strange as she compares the nephew in her memories and Jack in front of her.
Jack didn't respond he looks at her with a vacant expression as he muttered. "I didn't die, why?"
Marie didn't mind, she just calmly stood in front of him. "Cry, little Jack this older sister will never leave you, so you don't have to be worried about being alone." She pulled him into her embrace as she comforted him.
Jack's shoulder trembled he was only twelve years old kid so this kind of experience was too hard for his mind to bear.
Tears suddenly trickled on his cheeks, as he cries on sorrow.
Suddenly, an earthquake occurred. Marie took Jack under the table to cover. They didn't notice that the table beside Jack was turning into particles disappearing into the air without them realizing it.

Most people who choose to specialize in wielding mana tend to pick a mage class aligned with their element. Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected. Nothing is going to stop her from enjoying all that the world has to offer, not the wish of her parents or even her death. I'll be aiming to upload 5 chapters in bulk every week.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week. Cover art is 'The Siege and Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans Under the Command of Titus, A.D. 70' by David Roberts. This art is in the public domain.

Dismissing Darkness
Out amidst the stars, far past the point Earth appears as a pale blue dot, a human spacecraft plunges forth towards new and exciting worlds. The passengers know they are never going home, not after the lengthy journey ahead of, and to a lesser extent behind them. They while away their time frozen in body and plugged into a simulation in mind waiting for a new planet to explore and colonize. Currently on hiatus. If I get back to writing this one, it will be after I tweak it to make it feel less like an empty world with too many extras in the background.
