Chapter Two
City of Trênt - Continent of Nies
The hustling and bustling of the wet market was a sight to behold even for a war veteran Cai Vjorn. He was flying past through the scene when the townspeople recognized their fleet and began waving and clapping their hands. Finally, he's home.
The golden haired man swiftly landed at the massive courtyard and was greeted by several guards on their outposts. Phoenix and wyverns were recalled on their martial realm and every knight and soldier was summoned to the courtyard, awaiting orders.
"We keep watch of every corner of the manor everyday, every hour and every moment starting right now. Not even a fly should be able to enter nor exit the house without anyone sensing it. Wards are to be powered to their maximum potential, I don't care what's the cost I want it powered to the maximum right now"
"As you command, my lord" Lord Crain of House Grey, their most loyal bannerman replied.
"We are doubling the security on the city borders, five times that in the manor. I want every spiritual master that is capable of warding on the warroom later before the sun goes down"
"Understood, my lord" the knights and soldiers replied in unison.
"That's all, dismissed" commanded the golden haired man

Ahria stared at her son who was lying in bed for more than a few hours now. Even Lord Drow was worried for it should only take a maximum of an hour for the body to get used to the awakened spiritual essence. He looked at his platinum blonde hair that he inherited from her, his button nose like his father, his rosy cheeks and long eyelashes. He watched him as he sleeps, his chest rising and falling without a noise, like a mother tiger to her cub.
"You're growing too fast my love" she whispered under her breath.
"Please don't grow too fast, take all the time that you need"
"Please wake up" she said muffling her sobs as tears fell down on her cheeks.
Then suddenly Skye's chest stopped rising and falling. His spiritual essence went amock and knocked Ahria to the bedside. Skye's body started convulsing and all that was heard was Ahria screaming at the top of her lungs.
"Help! Help! Someone call Lord Drow"
"Please! Help! Lord Drow!"
She screamed, crying while trying to hold down Skye on the bed. More crying and shouting was heard till a golden haired man appeared in the room together with Lord Drow.
"Cai!" screamed Ahria as she rushed to his side to give space for Lord Drow to perform his healing.
A blue ring etched with runes of healing hovered in the man's hand and water enveloped Skye's body until the water formed as a bubble. Another blue ring appeared at the man's back as the bubble changed from aqua blue to a golden orb making Skye no longer visible to Ahria's eyes.

"He will survive, I know he will" Cai looked at Ahria's eyes with assurance.
"He is fated by the dragons like our ancestors and their ancestors before them. I will make sure he will rule what's rightfullly his" muttered Cai in a cold but reassuring tone.

Somewhere in the Continent of Welsh
Dragons were mythical beings that were labeled as spiritual beast but retained intelligence making them stand at the top with raw power and intelligence due to their longevity. Combine it with their understanding of spiritual essence which made them the pinnacle of existence therefore labeled as Gods. Capable of moving mountains. Splitting oceans. Engulfing the skies and setting anything on fire. Many humans argue on what they look like, some say they retain the lizardlike features with addition to their wings. Some say they are similar to wyverns just bigger and stronger. Some say they are serpentine like creautures with four legs with no wings and just magically float through the air. Who knows what they really look like? They suddenly vanished more than ten centuries ago.
The man continued reading the book in front of the crowd of children while a boy stood up and slowly walked away
"Yeah right, who knows what they really look like" he slightly chuckled to himself while his ocean like blue eyes turned to golden slitted blue draconic eyes. And just like that he vanished through the thin air.

In between Tundra of Nies and City of Trênt
Cloaked figures could be seen in the frozen tundra travelling in a fast but silent manner. In a normal human's view it may seem like hundreds of unknown creatures blinking every few meters. But to a trained Vjorns of Dragon Knight, thousands of stealthy spiritual masters cloaked in white to camouflage on the surrounding snow were approaching the city in haste. A blue ring etched with fiery red runes came to existence beside the Knight's arm. "Froleur" he muttered under his breath and like a shockwave with the man as the center a silent wind started spreading through his surrounding to reaveal every living creature only to find a hundred more spiritual masters on par with their Lord Commander.
"Sound the alarm! Phase 4 everyone! I need Lord Vjorn here right now!" the sound of his voice echoed through the fort with his spiritual essence enhacing it. Alarm started blaring to be heard in every corner of the city. Wards that was erected beforehand manage to conceal the loud noises from the inside.
"Phase 4! Phase 4! I need every citizen in the shelters!"guards shouted in the streets. Every citizen calmly formed a beeline to the shelters which were capable of defending from a breath of an Elder Dragon. With the normal guards leading the evacuation thousands of martial masters were forcibly recalled on the rune etched infront of the city. Knights started assuming formation, mercenaries huddled up while armies of the different Houses amassed infront of the Gate.

"Where is the City Lord?"asked Lord Holt of the House Grey, Lord Commander of the Vjorns of Dragon.
"I am here" answered Kyle of House Snow, current City Lord of Trênt
"My lord, Lord Xenon has discovered a thousand of martial masters at the peak of 40th rank. Half a thousand at the peak of 50's and a hundred more at the rank of 60's." Holt reported
"How many have recalled to the Frontier?" asked Kyle his face twitching with the numbers of the unknown enemy.
"Two thousand of the rank 30's, a thousand of the rank 40's. Quarter of a thousand at the rank of 50's."replied Holt without a hint of worry in his face.
"Where are the Vjorns of Dragon they have more than hundreds in the peak of 60th rank, hell, if Cai decided to show up most of 60's won't be a problem"he replied smugly realizing the odds of the enemies winning against them.
"I was sent by LORD Vjorn to assist in defending the city" emphasizing the word "Lord" in his sentence to hint his displeasure with calling their leading House Head without a title. "Half of the Vjorns of Dragon are mantaining the fully powered wards erected at both of the city and manor, while half of it are still not done erecting the new wards in Lord Vjorn's manor. Lord Vjorn is assisting Lord Drow in guiding the young Lord to recover back to healthy state" he stated plainly "He however sent me and 50 of the Vjorns of Dragon to stall the siege until the rest of the Knights can join us in the latter stages of the siege."
"Tsk" Kyle clicked his tounge then sighed "We might need to sacrifice most of our men to stall them"
"My Lord, who said about sacrificing our own men?" the Lord Commander questioned as a massive lightnings striked the enemies before a siege could even begin.

In front of the Frontier - City of Trênt
"My lord, we cannot sense any movement from the City" said a creature hiding in the darkness "It seems that they upped their warding schemes, none of my scouts can't get through. They heavily relied on the wards" the creature chuckled "The guards of the frontier haven't even noticed our approach"
"Good work! Gather all the artillery martial masters, we start the siege at dawn" his lips curved upwards not sensing the impending doom upon his troops.

House of Vjorn's Manor - City of Trênt
A golden orb was suspended around a platinum blonde boy's body. The spiritual essence that was running amock out of the boy's body was absorbed by the mystical waters. The boy's body started calming down no longer being controlled by the rumpant spiritual essence. The golden orb slowly vanished setting down the boy's body in bed.
"The young lord have managed to calm his spirit essence, let him have his rest. He will wake up soon" ushered Ranger wiping beads of sweat that formed in his forehead.
"Thank you Lord Drow" Ahria muttered under her husband's chest. Still sobbing from the events that occured earlier.
"No need for thanks, my Lady. I sweared an oath to protect House Vjorn. I intend to uphold that oath" he said with seriousness.
"An oath is an oath but a life saved is a life saved. I hope that I can repay the debt someday"replied Cai.
"Buy me a drink and consider the debt paid, my Lord" Ranger said in mock seriousness. After a few seconds of silence "There is no debt my Lord, a thank you is more than enough" he broke the silence.
"But i'll still take up a drink if you will offer" he said with a smile breaking the seriousness in the room which also caused both Cai's and Ahria's lips to curve upward. A silvery light flared to existence only to vanish as sudden as it came. The platinum blonde hair of the boy slowly turned silvery white starting from the roots to the end. Next was his eyebrows then his eyelashes. Silvery white streaks of light leaked out of the boys eyes that was now slowly opening. The boy then floated over the bed then, looked at the three dumbfounded audience. Finally, the light that the boy emitted turned to an abyss colored darkness. His hair turned black so did his eyes.
"The boy has chosen" an other-worldly voice echoed through the room. Before the audience can mutter a single word the boy's appearance turned back to normal. Then the boy fell down back to his bed. The boy stirred then opened his eyes, a void like black eyes was seen in a split second before it became the usual green. He looked at the his parent's dumbfounded looks. The boy asked
"What's happening?"
