"Seriously, this is humiliating." Rai spoked, staring at the dark tunneled labyrinth. "How long we've been here, Hayato-kun?" he angled his gaze at Hayato.
"About three hours, I guess." Hayato replied with a doubtful expression.
"I can't take this anymore," Gojou spoked. "My legs aren't meant for long walks." He's panting with his arms on his knees, supporting his body.
"Don't make it sounds like your the victim." Rai looked at him with deadly glare. "I'm supposed to be with Yuya." He whined.
"Hahaha, calm down, Rai." Hayato laughed.
"But it's strange, how we can no longer feel the ongoing battle above us. We've been here for hours, but to be honest I can't feel any magic from above." Rai spoked. "It appears that the battle is finished." he added.
"That wasn't the case," Gojou spoked, causing Rai and Hayato to pay attention. "It seems like this is a moving labyrinth." He stated, exchanging glances with them. "This is annoying since I lost my contact with my toys outside."
"How can you be so sure?" Rai asked with curiosity. "I can't feel this tunnel moving. Although I can sense some mana traces, must be because of the system." He added.
"Don't underestimate me Rai," Gojou smiled. "Even with my age, I have good senses. Even a slight changes in surrounding can't remain unnoticed." He spoked as he stood straight to regain his posture. "This whole place is constantly moving forward while scrambling the tunnel to confuse us." he explained.
"In that case, that means that this isn't the boss room?" Hayato responded.
"I'm not sure, but it's like the system is playing with us." Gojou replied and signalled the two to start walking. "If I was right, there's another person in this place aside from us." He said before entering a large room inside the labyrinth.
"What do you mean?" Hayato and Rai gave a doubtful look at Gojou.
"You really have good senses Gojou Yukimura."
Their doubts was erased after hearing someone speaking inside the room. A man with a deep voice, echoing throughout that dark room.
"Who's there?" Rai cowered and hid behind Gojou.
"You didn't bring Ao with you." The voice speaking became louder. "What a shame." he chuckled.
"Who are you?" Gojou spoked and looked around him. "What do you know?" he's preparing to cast a skill.
"I've been expecting you, Gojou Yukimura or should I call you 'the reaper of red sea', it sounds weird though." He laughed before showing his face by walking outside the shadows. "My name is Jack, sounds familiar isn't it?" he smiled, pointing a hand gun at Gojou.

"You're..." Gojou reacted after hearing the nickname. It's a nostalgic feeling.

"Whoop!"
The sound of Ryouma's arm swinging at Erwin can be heard by both of them and the smell of their sweats. They're fighting hand to hand and Erwin couldn't use his magic to stop Ryouma's light movements. Although Erwin's regeneration is still active, he couldn't endurance the pain of getting hit by explosion.
"Take this bitch!" Ryouma shouted before lowering his body and kicked Erwin's chin with full force. His landed an explosive blow on his chin that sends him flying.
"Ack!" Erwin couldn't do anything. His speed boost was almost gone and he couldn't feel his upper body anymore. 'Richard you bastard, it's your fault for not removing my limiters.' he whispered in his thought.
"It's not my fault, it's your fault for acting so arrogant." Erwin heard the voice speaking inside his head. "You should die to reflect."
'I won't accept this.' Erwin gritted his teeth as Ryouma beaten him up. 'I won't accept the heavenly retribution. Give me a link to the blessing zone.' he prayed and begged inside his thought. But his prayers was useless and no one answered, slowly tears began to pour from his eyes. 'What's this feeling?' He confusedly asked himself. 'I'm trembling, is this... fear?'
[WARNING!]
ENDURANCE REACHED ITS LIMIT
ENDURANCE: 13/420
Ryouma on the other hand was running out of stamina, his endurance was running low. 'Not yet,' he continued to punch and kick Erwin while moving around to confuse him. He's too fast that even Erwin's regeneration couldn't keep up. "What's wrong? Is the potion's effect wearing off?" He spoked at Erwin as he beats him up.
But suddenly, fear and disparation took over Erwin's mind. The fear of death and his disparation to survive awaken something inside Erwin.
"Mana release: Assault mode!"
Erwin's body was enveloped by large amount of purple mana that builds up to form thin thousand of strings. Ryouma was blown away and got his right leg wounded in the process. Erwin's body was tearing apart like a meat being sliced in small pieces, the regeneration was the only one holding his body in pieces. But the potion time limit is almost over.
[WARNING!]
[Blessed item: Holy water potion]

"His body is tearing apart." Ryouma stared as he covered his face with his arms from the strong wind the swirling around Erwin. "What's up with this mana? If my reflexes was slow. I would've lost one of my limbs." The scene in front of him was almost frightening. But he knows what to do. Ryouma already prepared for this worse case scenario. 'I should get closer to him.' he thought.

Before he even move a toe, he already saw his right arm getting enveloped with strings of mana. "What the..." But Ryouma somehow managed to free his arm by releasing his own mana and focused it to his right arm. Although his arm was severely wounded from the sharp strings, he's glad that he still got his arm back. "He still got some tricks. But he's not on his senses anymore." He opened his inventory and took out some Health and mana potion. He quickly gulped it down and stepped back for a moment to analyze the situation.
Ryouma hurriedly runned forward and throws some explosion directly to the ground to hide himself into the dust and smoke from the explosion. Ryouma's magic is to ignite anything he touches. He can accelerate his speed by continuously igniting explosions below his feet. "I'm just need to... touch him." he hend in his mind.
Ryouma charged towards Erwin and got his body wounded as he passed through the strings of mana enveloping Erwin from 5 meter radius. His blood was dripping down, and the mana strings was slowing him down. "Just a little bit," he grunted.
The strings holding Ryouma's whole body tightened up causing his wounds to hurt and bleed more until the mana strings reached his bones that caused Ryouma more pain. "Don't screw with me bastard. I'm not gonna die here." he screamed to motivate himself. "Just... a little bit... of... push." Ryouma moved his left index finger.
"Boooooom!"
An explosion occured below Erwin that stunned him. He lost his control over his mana that leads to Ryouma getting freed. Ryouma took this chance to sneak towards him and touch Erwin. "This is game over." Ryouma smiled in victory.
"Explosion Trap magic: Infernal circle!"
A magic circle appeared below them before Ryouma jumped outside the circle and focused on channeling all of his mana in the circle. A huge amount of orange flames blasted from the ground that burned Erwin alive. The flames went straight and dyed the sky with it's color. Ryouma won, but he's couldn't move a muscle because of the pain he has been enduring all this time.
[NOTICE]
YOUVE SLAIN THE ENEMY...
[NOTICE]
YOU LEVELED UP...
Erwin died, his body nor his ashes couldn't be found anywhere. One thing is exact, he died with regret, Ryouma saw through him during the battle that he wasn't fighting with all his power. He emptied his thoughts before collapsing on his back and peacefully closed his eyes. "I don't care if someone came and attack me. I'm tired and my body is severely wounded. I need to recover some strength."

"....."
"Yuyaaaaa!... Yuyaaaaa!..."
Yuya can heard the voices calling his name as he slowly opened his eyes. He can feel something soft at the back of his head where he was laying. 'What's this?' he thought as he saw a figure of a woman looking at him. So that means that the soft sensation behind his head was a lady's lap. "Who are you?" His vision was too blurry to recognize the person and he voice was echoing through his ears, almost unrecognizable. But the womanly scent was familiar. He also felt his body pain slowly fading away.
"He's awake!" Another voice spoked.
"Thank goodness, I don't want you to die in my hands."
Yuya blinked a few times before regaining his clear vision and finally recognized who the person is. "Ha-Hana?" he's too surprise to see her back in the battlefield. Yuya quickly sat down and looked at Sena. "Are you guys... okay?" He worriedly asked both Hana and Sena. "And more importantly, why are you here Hana?" He glanced at Hana and worriedly asked.
"You idiots are really careless without me." A voice came from a familiar person.
"This voice...." Yuya heard another familiar voice not too far away from him. He turned his head to the direction where the voice came from. He saw an overwhelming presence with surrounded by a completely dense amount of mana. The person was almost unrecognizable in one glance, must be because of his height and some muscle but his magic was completely familiar to Yuya. "Shun?!" he called the name of his dearest friend.
All the doubts faded after the man slightly turned his head and looked at Yuya with his red scarlet eyes.
'That person is... Shun, right?' Yuya exchange glances with Hana.
"That's him, of course. Who else would help you in this kind of situation?" Hana replied.
"I'll leave Yuya to you Hana. I'll take care of the enemies. I can still sense them from here." Shun spoked before vanishing from their sight.
"That was fast." Yuya widened his eyes before Hana pulled his head back to her lap. "What was that? I almost... can't recognize him."

Paladin
When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for reading, and please let me know if I've made mistakes!

Core .001
This is a story of Shiro, a 12 year old girl who wished to adventure around the world. Only to end up in an untimely death. When she wakes up, she finds herself in what seems to be a new world, and her body has changed to that of a catkin. Using her knowledge from knowing literature of people in similar situations and adventuring, she tries to make a place for herself in this new world. Only to find out that reality is far crueler than one would imagine. Even with what one would call an OP unique skill and other OP advantages, she finds things quickly fall apart regardless how hard she tries. Thus she seeks more and more power to not only survive, but to protect what is important to her. Unbeknownst to her though, lies within her an ancient power time primordial. A power so vast it can bring anything to its knees. This ancient power can easily be unlocked with just one sentence, but this sentence shall never be spoken. Instead, Shiro will embark on a new path to gaining a new different kind of power as she moves forward in this new world. WARNING: The first few volumes will have tragedy, which will disappear at around Volume 5 or 6. From then on it will be just pure OP-ness and having fun. While I personally like OP characters and don’t like tragedies myself, I think it is unrealistic that a person goes to an unknown and everything just magically go their way via plot armor. So I wanted to build up a more realistic OP reincarnation novel where MC struggles through a new world regardless of their advantages due to gaps in knowledge (despite how prepared she was) and simply not having enough strength at the time. ------------------------------------------- This is my first poor attempt at a story. I read a lot of novels overall and was in the mood to see how well I can write one. Expect a lot of mistakes here and there as I am pretty new to writing. Releases should be about 2 times a week(changed due to chapter size pretty much doubling) unless stated otherwise or inbetween volumes. I will at least commit to finishing the volume I am on (Nothing worse than a story being cut off mid story). So give me your comments what you think. I don't mind if the comments are bad and etc. Just lay off the grammar nazi (My only weakness)
