“..... What did I do in my past life to deserve such a system?”
Please open your mystery boxes in storage.
Although Tristan felt frustrated right now, he decided to just forget in since he couldn't do anything.
“What in the world did I get myself into?” He realised that the masked man he had met was not an ordinary person. How had they sent him here from Earth in the first place?
😭
“I'll use my stat points first.”
He clicked on his stat points and use 7 of them on agility and 3 of them on dexterity.
(Dexterity: skill in performing tasks, especially with the hands)
He needed agility since he could make hand signs faster in the future and the dexterity would help him do it accurately. The reason he didn't use any points for attack or defense was because he didn't have any offensive jutsu and he doubted he would have one anytime soon in the future. He could just dodge an attack if it came his way with the high agility anyway.
“By the way system….. why didn't I get the luck and charm starm stats? I heard they are always there on systems.”
There is no use for such a stat and i don't think the user could improve much in charm and luck no matter how much he upgraded them.
“........”
‘Hey! The luck part might be true but - but….. I look pretty good alright! I-i-i, ok maybe I'm not that good looking but still!’
Feeling depressed because of the trolling system he decided to move towards the mystery boxes in his storage to get some consolation.
As soon as he clicked on boxes, he dashed backwards with all he had. Alas! Everything was done in vain as two heavy things fell on his toes.
“AWOOOOO!!!!”
'My toes….’
Yelping with pain he slowly dragged himself to the two boxes piled neatly in front of him.
'i think I need to upgrade my defence a little….”
As soon as he opened a box, light came from within it and blinded him.

Ding~ obtained E grade jutsu 'clone’.
Ding~obtained hundred 100 exchange points.
This time he received only two items. The item that got him curious were the exchange points.
“Exchange points? Crappy system, what are exchange points?”
Exchange points are points used to buy items from the in built store. It can be obtained by 3 ways. Lucky spin or missions, by killing monsters with a monster cores and by giving the system a strong item and exchanging them for points.
“Ooohhhhh! That means I can buy Sharingan right?”
Technically….
Tristan didn't know how much 100 points was worth but he quickly rushed to the system’s store.
Unfortunately for him the systems were made to make the hosts feel bad.
“What is this… this … 100,000! 100,000 for sharingan! Even body replacement technique is 1200 points!”
(Clone jutsu: one of the weakest jutsu but has a lot of practical uses. Creates a replica of one's self but it doesn't have any attack or defence and objects can pass through it.
Body replacement technique: replaces your body with a substitute. Effective for dodging.)
The only thing Tristan could buy was 'one Thousand years of death.’ For a proper 100 points.
Even rope escaping technique was 200 points.
(Author: if you don't know what one thousands years of death is don't spoil it for yourselves and wait for the plot to continue. 😁 )
It had been almost a decade since Tristan had stopped seeing Naruto. He seemed to recall the name 'one thousand years of death’ but he couldn't tell what it really was.
“Such a great name… but only 100 points? This seems a little suspicious.”
He narrowed his eyes thinking why the system was being so generous.
He didn't have any attack moves on him and even though he had shadow bind, all it could do was stall time. It wasn't an offensive attack.
'hmmmmmm….”
He tried racking his brain up but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't remember what the jutsu was supposed to do.
“It's only hundred points! Let's just buy it. It looks like an offensive move so it should be alright.”
He clicked the buy button and information of the move flowed into his brain. It was like he had already practised this move for a hundred times. Over and over again the move repeated in his brain.
As soon as the learning process was done he got up catching his stomach. His face twisted up as if he had seen a horror movie. He walked to the bushes nearby and bent his head down.
SFX: rainbow from mouth.
“Fucking system!”
The moon in the sky shined brightly, accompanied by the stars.

The grass on the ground danced with the wind producing rustling sounds. There was a burrow in which laid an abnormally large caterpillar snoring softly. The burrow was just large enough to fit an adult person inside it.
Tristan slowly walked closer and closer to the burrow as he looked into it.
“Found it!”
“Finally after killing about a hundred of those worthless caterpillars!”
Tristan had been looking for this oversized caterpillar all day. It was the chief caterpillar. Basically the leader of a bunch of weaklings.
Tristan had been trying to find him because he wanted to complete his level mission.
It rewarded 100 exp if he completed it but if he lost he would lose his life, which is kind of dumb.
He looked at the caterpillar from top to bottom, his eyes stopped at a particular place.
“Forgive me for this caterpillar, but I need to preserve my life. Good thing it's sleeping or god know how I would be able to defeat this.”
He held his hands together like a child who was playing shoot-shoot with his friends. With full of guilt and nervousness he advanced towards the caterpillar.
“I'm sorry! One thousand years of death!”
The caterpillar finally reacted and got up, but the deed was already done. The caterpillars eyes closed as soon as it had opened. It writhed in pain, it was unwilling to die this way! No! This is way too humiliating.
Of course Tristan didn't want to wait and find out what it could do. He quickly equipped his kunai and stabbed the caterpillars stomach.
Green blood splashed around everywhere but the caterpillar was still bent on surviving. It struggled till it's last moment and probably died due to excessive blood loss while Tristan pinned him down.
Ding~ obtained 200 exp.
Ding~ levelled up to lvl 4.
Ding~ reward for completing mission-100 exp.
Tristan was completely devastated. “ I am never using this move ever again. My hands have been tainted…..”
The so called one thousand years of death is actually- Ahem!- inserting the blade into the hole. Completely destroys the enemy.
Tristan looked up to the moon. Two drops of tears fell from his cheeks.
“Requesta de Pache.”
(Author's note: rest in peace for Latin. Ahem! One minute of silence for caterpillar please.”
5 days later~
The fireplace lit brightly. The surrounding were brightened.
SFX: nom! Nom! Nom!
Tristan was tired of eating tasteless meat for five day now. He had levelled up to lvl 9 now. All the level missions were like killing slime, slime chief, bats, bat chief, boars, boar chief and wolves.
After the caterpillar he had to kill boars. Tasting meat was good but all he had been eating was meat for 5 days now. He had actually started to miss veg food right now. He didn't even have any salt to make the meat to taste better.
All he did these days was kill, kill, kill, kill and kill more. At first it felt nauseous but it all became normal by the fourth day.
His status looked something like this now-
Host : Tristan Davis
Level : 9 ( small kids can still whoop the host’s ass in a battle)
Attack : 10
Defence: 6
Strength: 10
Dexterity: 29
Agility: 32
Stat upgrade points:
Exp to reach next lvl : 2203
Jutsu : quasi kekkei Genkai - shadow bind, clone jutsu, rope escaping technique, one thousand years of death, body replacement jutsu.
Tamed beasts : nil
Exchange points : 30
Elemental affinity: Lightning
He spent a little bit of points on attack, defence and strength but he mainly focused on agility and dexterity.
The level missions gave him exp points sometimes and exchange points the other times. He bought rope escaping jutsu and body replacing technique with those points. Although rope escaping technique hadn't had much of an effect yet but body replacement technique had definitely helped him.
Another thing he discovered was the map updated every time he killed a chief type monster. Every time the map updated it showed every nook and corner of a small place but it wasn't much. It was like a part of map unlocked every time he killed a chief.
The weekly mission he had been given was to reach lvl 10 so he wanted to do that with just some farming. But the amount of mob monsters had drastically decreased. The only thing he could do right now was find the wolf chief so he would get a large amount of exp by killing it.
He would also complete the lvl 9 mission awarding him with exp or exchange points.
He threw away the big bone of without any meat into the fireplace and walked into the small cave he had found to sleep in it.
It was full of bats at first but he killed all the bats and occupied the place.
Counting the 5 days along with the day he had first come to this place, 6 days had already passed. Tomorrow was the last day he would have to kill the wolf or he would most probably die.
He looked at the ceiling of the cave with both his hands wrapped around the back of his head.
'I really miss a bed. Every time I get up, it’s like I have cramps in my butt. I miss veggies…. Green, green veggies.’
His eyes slowly closed while he already started to dream about green vegetables.

Science fiction elements won't be introduced for quite some time. I currently update my work at a rate of one chapter per week. I'm also in the process of editing chapters 1 - 7, changing the format to make it more readable, and introducing more show and less tell. The reworked chapters will have (edited) after the title. All chapters after 8 have already been written in the new style. I have a Patreon page if you wish to donate. Also, there will be intense situations, some explicit violence, and although it is not an erotic work, one or two sex scenes.

Divine Intervention Online
Vin is an ex-slave who wields sacred knowledge to demand freedom for his people. Seth is a reluctant player stuck in a game that is set to last 200 more years. When their paths converge, even the false gods will take notice. * * * Hello and thank you for giving Divine Intervention Online a chance. This is not my first book (that honor belongs to The Flock by Chris Sauter- available on Amazon). This is hopefully going to become my second book, the first of a planned LITRPG trilogy. This is a labor of love, dedicated to my absolute obsession with the LITRPG genre that has held me in its grasp for over 3 years. There will be dark situations that perhaps only adults should read including: slavery, violence and the results of war. There will be no harems, little profanity, but possibly some triggers for people who don’t like torture, violence, and other dark stuff.

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
