《The Arcanist Seer》Chapter 6: Space and time.

“Two suns and three moons, nothing like earth" He wondered how this world synergize it well with the gravitation pressure it emits. If there is a solar system above it, then it would be a sight to behold.
Olen rolled down his eyes from the sky, noticing the hailing snow coming down at the roof of the hall.
“it seems the weather changes along as the night comes”
With a flick of snow touching his cheek, Olen suddenly remembered the threat of the snowstorm can cause and called over the warriors to rush over outside of the hall all at once so they could prepare for the storm ahead.
Having only a small amount of time as the sight of the storm grew stronger. Olen quickly rushed his steps toward the hall. But suddenly, a headache pricked through his head as he felt his own field of vision getting blurry, and fainted to the ground.
Olen suddenly found himself in a strange state, as he saw blurry images depicting a reflection of a man with horns protruding out from his head and a tail buried underneath his waist, and while an Old man with a mysterious eye embedded in his forehead stood beside the man. Both exchanged enthusiastically, uttering some vague words coming from their mouth.
The imparted words sound distant for Olen to understand, but strangely enough... There seems to be an invisible hand guiding the images, explaining the language conveyed from their mouth.
‘You need my essence to further understand its mysteries. But for now, what I only can offer is our own secret. It does not hinder anyone to decipher it. All you need is for that shard of yours to do the magic’
‘Pah fin rii come wah dii prayes, heaan zu'u, fah zu'u am fin dovah do fin skies, fin dovahkiin’
‘The secret in this orb should be enough for you to decipher those ancient languages of asterian’
‘Here, also stop looking at my hand’
‘Yes, your shard. It can gather the essence that is only unique for us Dragonborn to be freely wielded by you but only a marginal of it, our essence is different from the others especially by you, a human’
‘That shard of yours, it’s unique. It’s capable of seeing things that no shard does, It examines the changes and the ripples contained from the void. It’s simple but once you know how to manipulate those energies—’
‘So it is true, you truly possess another divinity comparison to the one you have just found, so that makes it two, If I'm not wrong that original divinity shard of yours should be capable of harnessing the space and time’
‘So the council called you the Augur of—’
‘No wonder it called upon you’
All of a sudden, the Old man turned his head toward the void while its mysterious eye suddenly gleamed with a golden hue and shone radiantly searching across space and time
“Beware of the mortal man who holds the body of eternal” as the voice slowly echoed into nothingness.
[Your understanding toward [Dovahzul] has increased moderately]

“Ugh... my head,” Olen grimaced while holding his head, lifting his eyes to examine his situation. “Where am I,” He said, with his eyes staring at the fireplace in front of him, as footsteps echoed through his ears with the sound of wood creaking going toward him.
“Liege!, thank heaven for giving you back to our hands,” Feimshall implored while raising his two hands in the sky.

When Olen was about to speak, he suddenly felt the corner of his mouth twitch and felt the world around him turn ridiculous at the sight of a clown clambering in front of him. If heaven is real, then this is hell.
Olen took a deep breath and tried to recall the scene from what happened inside his memories a moment ago. Ignoring the man right before him.
“It was that memory, but this time it's vivid and clear. But who is that man, and what presence?” He speculated that whatever was causing him to see those images, the answers could only come from the [Rift Shard] floating above the pillar, and the strange shard lodged inside the sword.
“Beware of the man who holds the body of eternal,” Olen thought as it lingered in the deepest corner of his mind.
All of a sudden, a clash of metal echoed behind from the wooden wall, as the sound of a sword brought a vacuum through the air and rippled across the wall.
“Liege, we are under attack!” Alfrick shouted while his voice trembled from the freezing storm.
[Your progression [Rift Dweller] has detected a Rift Irregularity]
[Activating Escalade Procedure]
“The Rift!” Olen thought.
Suddenly, a clash of footsteps resounded over him, and in a heartbeat, Olen rose from his feet as he shouted at the two warriors coming over him.
"There's something ahead of us. Get ready for what's to come"
Hearing the growling sound of his lord, Feimshall quickly sprinted through the front of the door but paused as he gently opened the knob of the door while sliding a glance at his liege with an awkward smile curved on his face.
Olen shook his head and sent his thoughts to his companion, Metatron. With a thought, the slime squirmed through his hand and coalesced into a sword. This time don't turn into a glob.
“Alfrick, stand right beside the door and hold your position” Olen decisively voiced his shout through the storm. “Feimshall, stand apart from the middle right of my position,”
“I’ll be taking the middle while both of you stand beside me. This should be enough to keep the enemies at bay,” Olen instructed while sprinting right before the door with the thatch roof and fences surrounding their position .
Taking a deep breath, Olen peered his eyes through the night as the sight of blood sprinkled through the storm with patches of blood dispersed all over the snow, limiting his vision at the sight of blood trickling from a hazy figure from the distance. It can only be alfrick
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Olen took a lungful of air and breathed out a shout that brought waves of ripples across the surrounding area, “You ugly ducklings come at your daddy!” Olen shouted hoping that it would taunt whatever creature or entity that heard it.
Grabbing the opportunity, Olen turned his head to Feimshall and said: “Protect me at all cost, I’m going to cast a spell to divert the creature from Alfrick”
Searching from his mind, Olen began to compile the words in his thoughts as he merged the symbols together to create a basic spell with his newfound understanding and applied the language deciphered from the images buried in his memories. Manipulating the mana to achieve his results.
It has been a dream for Olen since he ever got here, fantasies, fairy tales, and a body he can finally walk around from once in a while. He was not willing to stand by while waiting for his friend to sacrifice his own life to protect a stranger like him.

Since the moment he walked upon the gates of souls, he never faltered in the face of its darkness. Because he knew there’s still a kindle burning inside his soul insisting him to keep moving forward, and when there is darkness so does the... Light! Hope!

[Your understanding toward [Dovahzul] has increased significantly]

“ILLUMINATE!”
Soon the entire space was flooded by rays of light, illuminating every life under its radiance. Meanwhile, a blob of light hovered into the middle of the storm, dispersing its light to the night.
Beneath its radiance, Olen drifted his eyes around the region that was shined upon the light. Revealing a green-like creature out of nowhere appeared right before his eyes.
Crooked yellow teeth glued in its filthy grin. Skin smeared with a gloss of green that looked like it came from a sewer. Pair of goggled eyes that coiled around his hooked nose plastered on its face. Meanwhile, holding a dagger from its grotesque hand while the sight of the tainted blood trickled in its edge, and a sword protruded out from the back of its stomach.
The light revealed a dead body of a goblin emerged from the eyes of Olen, as its body writhes underneath Alfrick sword.
Alfrick then flings his sword through the air, hurling the dead goblin's body to the mass of flesh piling from his back. “Hmph, nothing but a child's play” while smudging his bloody sword to the snow, wiping the blood stained on it. “Nasty creatures, your filth has dirtied my sword” Alfrick indifferently said.
Olen suddenly felt something churned inside of him at the sight of Alfrick's cruelty unfolding in his eyes. This time he knew, Alfrick is a bloody cold killer, while the other one is an idiot.
“Alfrick!, leave immediately from that area, a bigger one is coming yet!” Olen suddenly shouted, contemplating at the information that came out from his mind.
[Due to your effort, the creatures has been investigated]
[Escalade] Hostiles: Goblin: 8/12, Yeti: 1, Neutral: Unidentified: 1
[Your profession [Rift Dweller] has increased largely]
It’s not even day two yet!
“Umm, Liege, your shout earlier could have used a little bit less aggressive, because from the look of it...” Feimshall said in concern, and slowly raised his hand and pointed it in a direction. “The big one you talked about Liege is here” As he slowly picked up his two-handed sword right to his chest and held the hilt of the sword with his two hands in battle position.
Soon a yeti emerged from a distance as the light revealed its presence with an inhuman roar following it. The Yeti stood twice of a human height, displaying its feature-like—gorilla muscles along with its thick snowy hair covering around its body. Meanwhile, surrounded by a team of goblins circled from its huge mass of body.
“There’s only six of the goblins. Where’s the other two?” Olen grimly thought.
“Where? I don’t see anything,” Alfrick halfway said while walking to the front hall.
“Bah, you don’t have an extraordinary perception the same as our Liege” Feimshall remarked.
All of a sudden, the sound of rustling moved restlessly above their head. As the sound of a dagger suddenly poked out from the thatched roof and pierced right through Feimshall's head, but instead, a sound of *clank* resounded in Feimshall's head as the dagger bend to a scrap of metal failing to penetrate his head. Meanwhile, the goblin's exposed position allowed Feimshall to thrust his sword to the roof, pricking the goblin flesh through it's chest, leaving a pool of blood trickling through the hole from its dead body.
“A helmet a day, keep the goblins away” Feimshall mused.
“Hmph, your one late second Feimshall” Alfrick said, while gripping the head of a goblin dangling on his left arm. “That should be five for me”
Afterward, a sound of trembling shook the entire ground, as the sound of heavy breathing could be heard from a distance and rumbling footsteps stomped on the ground.
*ROAR*
“Get ready! Get in your positions! Battle stance!” Olen shouted with a mix of excitement and fear written on his face.
Olen never thought that it would come to this day, as the prospect of him surviving in this fantasy world drove him even more to fear, but it was not a genuine fear, but the fear of losing everything. And now that he has something to lose, he won't hesitate and fight for it till the last drop of its blood. And for the first time in his life, a bag of bones like him finally knows what it feels like to be a person again.
Metatron!
Soon the yeti charged through the three man-made defenses with the three of them positioned in, as it folded its two arms at once and smashed them through the ground.
*BOOM*
Putting Olen and Alfrick separated from the force of the smash as the pressure of its strength blew over them apart from each other. Leaving only Feimshall on his feet buried in the snow, relying on his increased strength, blocking the incoming fist toward his Liege just in time.
“Leave this big gorilla to me!” Feimshall shouted, flickering the Yeti two folded fists to the air, shoving his two-handed sword right to its ribs. But contrary to what Feimshall expected, the sword only managed to plunge the ribs into its flesh an inch-deep to it.
“Absurd! What kind of flesh made are you!”
Feimshall swore and thought that the Yeti in front of him had just said: ‘I SMASH!’
With the battle going on, Alfrick stood five meters apart from his Liege. He got up from the ground and grazed his eyes around the three goblins, licking his tongue at the sight of the goblins that were nothing but mere worms wriggling in front of him. “I should probably clean this faster,” Alfrick thought, and while sliding a glance through Olen in the distance.
“Well, I'll be damned, three goblins and just a slime along with me,” Olen thought, as his sword shivered from every nerve in his hands out of fear. ‘I can do this!’ Olen took a deep breath, while Metatron responded to his thoughts, maintaining his calm.
Glob!
Suddenly one of the goblins lunged through Olen as the dagger shimmered amidst through the snow piercing right before into Olen's chest. But within in a nick of time, Olen dodge through the incoming dagger as the goblin lunged failed and landed before his body plummeting through the ground, giving Olen the chance to plunge his sword into the goblin's beating chest as it struggled from the ground.
Olen then grimly drifted his eyes to the two goblins, with one of them cowered in fear and took a step back while both of its hand shivered in fear holding its dagger. But suddenly one of the goblins screeched in madness, shrinking its fear as the goblin goggled eyes hysterically glared at Olen and rushed towards him with a dagger in its hand.
Olen swung his sword halfway at the arriving dagger, taking advantage of its mad state, leaving the goblin unarmed.
Suddenly, the dim of their shadow shrunk by an inch, as the light began to slowly lose its luster by a second. Olen's look quickly turned grim, as he already feared the spell would start to lose its effect.
Immediately, Olen launched his feet from the ground, and swiftly catapulted his sword, slashing the startled goblin in a flash. Leaving a decapitated head of the goblin rolling through the ground. ‘Only one goblin left’
Scanning the surrounding area, Olen swept his eyes to a cowering goblin right in front of him. The goblin scampered its feet from the ground, groveling in fear as it saw the man who killed its kind slowly walking toward it with heavy steps.
While Olen was about to slash the head of the goblin, a sudden prompt quickly emerged from his mind as his eyes widened at the thought of it.
[Would you like to have the goblin to be captured or form a contract]
“Captured of course!” Olen exasperatingly shouted in the air.
In an instant, a string of energy suddenly emerged from the [Rift Shard] and struck the goblin at the forehead from a distance.
When the goblin was about to speak, Olen swiftly turned his head. Ignoring it, and while staring at the distance, searching for someone.
“There’s still one left,” Olen frowned while roaming his eyes around the area, looking for Alfrick and Feimshall at the site of the battle before the force pulled them away from each other.
And within a distance, the sight of Alfrick stood before him, as the sword right in time pierced right through the body of the goblin right through its chest, thrusting the sword further deeper to the back of its body. Meanwhile, Feimshall climbed through the Yeti body with both of his hand in the sword piercing right from the back of its neck.
"Aha!, big but slow, all you do is smash and smash with your two hands"
Suddenly, the orb floated in the middle of the storm suddenly lose its radiance as the sight of incoming darkness slowly crawled through the orb, with the storm ravaging through the air along the coming of the darkness enveloping its light.
Out of nowhere, Olen suddenly caught a glimpse of a hazy figure moving in a streak of light past right before his eyes. Immediately, a sudden foreboding feeling of apprehension took over hold of him, and without a second thought, Olen in an instant activated his ability and closed his eyes.
“Foresight” an eye slowly emerging from his forehead.
