《Dragon Ball, A True Coherent Fan-Fic》Chapter 2: No Bullshit, Just Tell the Story!

Eight years had passed since I was born. I don’t want to explain much about what happened during my baby days. Let’s just say that being a baby with the mind of a twenty-year-old is not comfortable at all. Being inside a machine until one can take care of their bodily functions is no fun at all. That’s enough of that. I don’t want to ever talk about that part of my life.
Let’s get to the good stuff. I’ve been trying to access the System Interface for the past eight years. No matter what I did, it didn’t work. I even screamed out loud for fuck’s sake! Nothing worked. So I don’t bother with it anymore. Besides the problems I’d had with the System, I became the lowest level warrior because of my low power level. My parents and uncle didn’t care about that. They were once low-level warriors and they became one of the few high-level warriors. I have been training hard for years, but my power level doesn’t surpass 99. It’s like a seal. I have trouble with the high gravity of the planet because of it. I wouldn’t notice the gravity if I wasn’t so used to Earth’s gravity.
But it doesn’t matter anymore. Today is the day. Kakarot has been born. And the plan to eradicate the Saiyans had been put into motion. A lot of high-level Saiyan have died in missions. Parents and uncle were among them. The news broke me. I contemplated revenge for a while. Until I sneak in a terminal and read the report on my parents’ and uncle’s deaths. Their bodies weren’t found anywhere. The only corpses found at the site were Frieza’s elites warriors.
They’re alive. I don’t know much about them. They weren’t able to be with me after I was able to go out of that machine.

I snapped out my memories and focus on the task at hand. I’ll think about my time on planet Vegeta later. Now, I have to take a ship and leave with the soon to be Son Goku. I don’t have much time. Bardock has left the planet and he is on course to encounter Dodoria.
I sneaked around the facilities, trying not to be discovered. I make my way to the nursery. Right where Kakarot is. Then I see him. The legendary Super Saiyan. Broly. He was just beside Kakarot. I noticed that Broly’s nursery chamber was different than any other I’ve seen. I didn’t know what was different about it. I couldn’t think more I the subject because I heard people getting closer to the nursery. I hid as fast as I could. The door opened and two purple looking fellows wearing white robes, with the usual Frieza’s forces shoulder guards, walked in. One was taller than the other. The small one went to Kakarot's chamber and took him out.
“It is time for your first mission.” The small fella said to Kakarot.
“Let’s go.” The bigger fella said. The two of them left the room with Kakarot. I followed them as silently as I could.
••
We reached a room with no roof full of the iconic ball looking Saiyan pods. They placed Kakarot in one of them. The small fella was doing something inside the pod. Then said, “Hey, Dazz. What where the coordinates of that low leveled planet?”
“2.6.0.6.7.8.” The big fella called Dazz replied. The small fella took three more seconds inside the pod and got out. The door closed, the pod started to levitate and left flying up. The two fellas left soon after. Once I made sure nobody was coming, I made my move.

I went to the closest pod and tried to open it. I couldn’t. I tried to do the same with others pods but I also failed. I searched throughout the whole room for one I could open. After a while of failing, I found a door open. At the other side was a Spaceship. An iconic Frieza’s Spaceship. This one was smaller than the one Frieza uses but it was as big as one of those two in one, two-floor houses. The ship looked as if it was under construction, they were a lot of supporting structures around it. The good thing about it was the door of the ship was opened. I ran inside the ship and looked for the control room. It took me a while, but I found it. Good thing I learned how the how to use and repair the machines here, because the control room wasn’t in shape. That’s one of the few things they teach to the low leveled warriors like me. I’ve found it unusually easy to learn everything they had to offer. Well, it might have been because my survival depended on it. I looked for the toolbox that is usually positioned inside a small door on a wall inside the control room. I checked inside and found it there. I was glad because if it wasn’t there I would’ve had to go to the mechanic’s room. That would have taken a while to find.
I went to the control panel and fixed it to a useable degree. I hacked the main server from the ship and freed it from the supporting structures, opened the roof once I found out it could be opened. I wouldn’t have to go out and destroy the roof, thank god. I don’t want to alert anyone with an explosion. Turned in the engine and got the hell out of the planet.
System Interface has obtained all information and has been fully activated.
Connecting System Interface to Spaceship…… Connection Successful.
‘The fucking System Interface finally made its appearance. What a surprise.’ I thought. Then it jumps again with a ‘welcome’ screen. “Oh, so now you answer my call!” I said annoyed.
Coordinates for the Spaceship.
“2.6.0.6.7.8.” I grumpily said.
Coordinates Name.
“Earth.” I said, in a more normal tone.
Preparing to go to Earth.
That makes things easier for me. I can now focus entirely on repairing the entire control room.

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online

World Servers - Dawn
The year is 2143, and much of the world’s population has been digitized for decades. Different servers are configured for different purposes. Some servers are pure gaming worlds. Others are offshoots of fringe political experimentation or regimes. Still others are based around ethnic or nationalist sentiment. Some replicate past times or past eras. And still others have been designed as totally imaginary locations created out of the dreams of programmers and the Artificial Intelligences that have been used to build and drive them. The gaming guild I Like Big Booty is a loosely affiliated group of friends and avid players. Theirs is an international guild which spans multiple servers, mostly running raids, ganking other players in PVP, and generally trying to build up the funds to purchase their own home world server. On one of the most populous servers – designed to resemble 20th century earth – a small raid team running a boring and routine run in Washington DC, comes across something that might change the fate of Virtual Reality across the solar system. Note: Per request, the title has been changed, though I might change it again when if I come up with something a little better.
