Getting Settled #1
-----------------
The following day, Alex and Mary were standing outside the central building. They were talking with Herman.
"Mary here, take this," Herman said as he stretched out his hands towards Mary. In his hands, he presented a card. This card was an MVP Fast track bank card.
"Oh.." Mary stretched out her hands to receive the platinum card from her father's hands.
"This is for you guys to use. It should have more than enough money to sustain the 3 of you for 5 years. I know you have your card with you, however, this is just a surplus. Or, maintenance money, if you would. Do with it as you wish, just take care of my grandson." Herman said with a serious tone.
"Alright, thank you," Mary replied as she slightly bowed to her father.
On the other hand, Alex was bringing down Mary's luggage from upstairs. They were a lot! The first set of her luggage was towering, they were taller than Alex and Herman combined! Poor Alex, imagine having to carry towers of luggage down hundreds of floors.
BOOM! Alex tripped and fell to the ground. Concerned, both Herman and Mary went over to check in on Alex. Concerned, Mary ran over to Alex to check in on him. She felt guilty that he fell while trying to help her carry her luggage. Herman also quickly followed her.
Seeing Alex on the ground, Mary knelt down as she checked carefully for any injuries Alex could have suffered. Concerned for his safety, Mary asked, "Oh Lord, what happened? Are you alright, Alex? Are you injured? I hope you're okay?"
Alex didn't answer. Unresponsive, Herman also became more concerned. He knew that Alex, being a cultivator, couldn't suffer hurt easily. Minute things like bruises, scrapes, and scabs wouldn't easily hurt Alex. It would even be harder for him to be hurt because he cultivates.

Herman, who was behind Mary, was still closely monitoring Alex. A while later, Alex's eyes opened. His breathing pace increased as he started sweating heavily. He looked as though he had been drowned in water.
Looking around, Alex was still in shock.
"I'm Okay! I'm Okay." Alex said participating.
"Are you sure?" Herman asked.
"Ha...ha...I'm- I'm Okay, thank you. I just need some time to catch my breath." Alex replied.
"Oh, okay." Mary chimed in as she helped Alex up.
While the two of them were carrying their luggage, Herman said, "I've made some transportation provisions for the both of you. There would be an aeromobile taxi coming here. This way, you guys can reach your destination faster."
"Thank you," Both Mary and Alex said as they bowed in respect.
"You're welcome" Herman replied.
In the background, there was a yellow aeromobile that was landing on the ground. It was so cool. The wheels of the car couldn't be seen, however, it came out from the wings of the car! The propeller of the car was its wheels! How crazy is that!
After it landed, a man came out of the car. He wore a casual classic black suit. This man seemed to already know Alex and Mary. So, he greeted them and helped them carry their luggage into the taxi.
A while later, everything was placed in. Mary and Alex had already said their goodbyes to Herman. They were already in the car as it started hovering in the air. On the ground, Herman was standing nearby as he watched the car rise up in the air and quickly pick up speed as it disappeared in the sky.

5 days later, David and Mary had already arrived at the Great Silverback Gorilla Sect.
Along the way, on the 3rd day, they quickly stopped by the Fire Panel Sect to meet Grandpa Kai. Alex informed his father of the great news about everything that has been going on. Happy, they celebrated with drinks. However, unfortunately for them, grandpa Kai wasn't joining them. He still wanted to stay in the Fire Panel Sect for a little while.

2 days after, they arrived at the Great Silverback Gorilla Sect. With the money provided by Mary's father, Herman, they were able to buy a new house. It was a 5 bedroom house with 5 bathrooms. The house was cream in color, on the outside. On the inside, it was more artistic. This house looked more like a contemporary home; a mix of modern and medieval styles.
Inside, on each side of the doorway, there were two armored figures which looked like knights. In their hands, they held a weapon. A knight figure held a huge stick with an ax on the top on the right. While the other had a Kitanna in his hand.
These two knight figures were magical home guards. Once the house is bought, the homeowners would put a drop of blood on the handle of the door. Due to the central system of the house, the knights would also be able to recognize the homeowners from intruders. Once an intruder enters the house, the security system will begin.
The knights are the first layer of defense. The second layer of defense is the tiles. They have an increased gravitational pull which could totally immobilize intruders. The third layer would be much worse. Everything concerning the house is magical. So, almost anything can be possible. These protective measures were placed to ensure the safety of Jedidiah from potential enemies who may have negative motives for him.
Later in the day, they both settled in. Alex and Mary got to work as they arranged their things in their own respective rooms. On the other hand, Jedidiah was in his cradle sleeping. He looked so peaceful and cute, it was just adorable.
Alex's room was awesome. It had pine green wallpapers on the wall. On the ground, he had wooden tiles. In the middle of the room, he also had a nice green bed in the middle of the room with a wooden carved bed frame that had all sorts of designs and animals beautifully carved in.
On the right side of his room, he had a large wooden wardrobe. It had 4 compartments on the top, where he kept his shorts, pants, and jeans. In the middle, it had an open space for all his shirts and T-shirts alike. To the left side of his room, he had a work desk and a chair. This was where he would work and do all his small work things.
As for Mary, her room was gorgeous. It had a beautiful crystal chandelier that hung from the ceilings. On the floor, she had a white wooly rug instead of tiles. On the walls, she had all sorts of beautiful artistic designs of multiple colors. In the middle, she had a huge empress-style bed. It was big and beautiful. On each end of the bed frames, there were poles that had dragons and phoenixs' carved on them. Each pole carried a large cover that acted as a dome for the bed.
She also had a wonderful white wardrobe where she kept all her clothes on the right of her room, and a large makeup desk on the left of her room.
As for Jedidiah, he had a nice white room. It was simple but served its purpose. Alex and Mary agreed to leave it untouched until Jedidiah was old enough to do it himself.
After they were all settled in, Alex went to the sacred mountain to report to the patriarch. He was going to meet Fiona and inform her of his arrival as agreed.
