Chapter 25 - The Blue Oak
After leaving Woodrock village Stian stumbled upon a tiny camping ground called BlueOak. There Stian wandered towards the camp as he saw a crowd of people resting looking at the blue oak in the distance. Keeping his pace he then headed towards an empty spot and laid down a tent which he bought before leaving WoodRock village.
At the point where he was done, He looked around and found out that the atmosphere between the rest of the campers were akin to something being unrest. Looking at their hands being placed in their sheath, He then saw an old man who seems to be the only one not being bothered by what it seems to be a spit of smoke that the acorns of the blue oak seems to produce.
Being curious about the phenomena , Stian can't help but feel curious and approached the old man and asked.
''Hello there, What is happening around, everyone seems to be stressed about the tree'' Stian asked the old man. The Old man turn his head towards Stian and answered.
''Are you new from these lands? If you haven't heard then you must be new aint'cha?''
''Well, it's kinda obvious, I wouldn't be asking you if I know wouldn't I?''
''That's true, so you wanna know about that tree over there?
This old man is repeating his words damn it, didn't I just said like a second ago?
''Of course, I wanna know, so whats up with the tree?''
''Young man do you know what is that tree over there called?''
''Im guessing its a blue oak''
I mean, its kinda obvious they named the camping ground with that blue oak there.
''Oh ,it seems you know about that tree already then why are you asking ?''

Really you fuck?
''No no, I only guess that it's a blue oak since it seems to be the NAME of the camping ground''
''Well that makes sense ,anyway about the tree''
(''Finally'') as Stian muttered under his breath.
''Once upon a time, there was a an old meister living among these camping grounds, in that place he planted the fruits of his labor, the enchanted blue oak that wards off anyone who smelled the smoke of its acorns. No one knows why he did such things but the frightening thing about that blue smoke is that if you have inhaled the smoke, illusions of of monsters shall haunt you and bring you death''
Hearing the words of the old man I frowned and asked about it.
''This may seems obvious but then why the fuck are we here then, shouldn't we be running away from these camp grounds? And who thought it would be a good idea to set camp here?''
''Calm down, youngsters these won't let even an old man like me finish tsk''
''Okay , then tell me more about this tree then''
'' Though, I may have said that monsters haunts you in form of illusions its true, but the reason why we are here is obviously because if you manage to get rid of the monsters inside the illusions then your gonna feel the touch and comfort of heaven''
''So basically your saying means that the acorns of the blue oak can be use as a recreational drug?''
''Well yes , we stay here to smoke a joint, these guys are probably afraid they might messed up and suffer nightmares''
So this place basically a joint recreational area where they smoke this stuff and take a puff of that blue smoke? Am I even gonna be safer here?

''One last thing old man, I would be safe If I stay here right?''
''Dont worry about it, as long as you don't lose to the illusions of monsters then you'll be fine. At most if you don lose yourself, you might wake up in the morning feeling your bum sore.''
And as the old man said those lines towards Stian, the wanderer then decided to walk quickly back towards his tent and undid all of it and wrapped it around his waist as he quickly walked away from the camp and never to return again.
The threat of an familiar psychoactive and being someone who have never smoked a joint. Stian used all his powers to get away from the camp as the threat of his butt hole being sore in the morning leave Stian in shivers.
At the time Stian manage to find a hill where it seems safe, he then watched the camping area of blue oak being covered in blue smoke as the area turn into a smoke dome. Taking out his camera as he watches the even unfold he then took a shot of the are as he then quickly printed and wrote in his journal on how he was glad that he asked the old man about the place and how curiosity can sometimes save you from disaster and how he then tuck to bed without any worries.
By the time morning arrive, Stian awoke in a great mood as he then took out some fresh smoked meat on his bag of holding as he eat in the beautiful morning watching the fresh sun in the sky and the signs of winter coming along.
After putting away all the belongings he have, Stian walked towards the main road that people use to head towards the main routes and saw a group of what seems to campers who seems to be ''high'' as they walk like penguins as if they are suffering from something painful as they touch their bums as they continuously grumbled about some monsters and horrors on what happen.
Then looking at the sky again, Stian thank the Gods above again for giving him the curiosity and the reason to get away from the blue oak camp as he move forwards to his destination while feeling great that his bum was saved from such horrible event.

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.
