Chapter 15 - Defending away the Chaos

The passive neutral bandit's suddenly turn cold as they emit bloodthirsty auras. The fifteen bandits then rush towards the source and then saw as the guards of Wodfel are arriving. The bandits then readied themselves as the footsteps of the soldiers started coming in. While the man named Krauss then ordered the two grunts to carry off the cauldron and the few barrels and fly away!

The guards who have arrived have seen the two wyverns carrying the cauldrons quickly draw their enchanted bows to fire at the wyverns!

Swoosh! as an arrow flew towards the wyverns as it burns and head straight towards the flying wyverns!

Then, seeing the arrows fired. The Sinister man named Krauss then click his tongue as move and jump with extreme speed as he draws his blades and single handedly deflected them from the wyverns!

The bandits who saw their leader deflecting the arrows, then charged towards the guards as they move in a synchronized manner!

Clang! Clang! Clang! as the sounds of metal clashing resounds towards the area as the people in the crowd panic! Being stunned by the amazing feats done by the not so Sinister man. I Stian, didn't even have the time to think! The sounds of flesh being cut and horrendous screams surrounded the area!

Being left in an awe of disgust towards the scenes of happening. I then look at my side in daze as I saw that Ava who should be seated next to me rushes towards the Golden Robed man! Seeing her go, I instinctively panic inside and chase after her!

As Ava runs towards the Golden robed man who is still writhing in pain. One of the bandits who were pointing their bows and arrows notice Ava and then shouted at her:

''Stop right there!'' as the bandit pointed his bow towards Ava and launch an arrow towards her!

Danger! As that thought rings over my head, I then used the blessing of my wanderer's hand to enhance my passive strength even further and dashed towards Ava!

But contrary towards my expectations, Ava did not stop and took out her decorated stick or wand, gathered energy as she then painted it on the ground as roots started growing and shielded her from the arrow!

Seeing the scene, I seem to have underestimated Ava and it seems she is indeed a mage! Nonetheless, due to my over speed using my blessing! Before I crashed towards the shield roots I then slowed down a bit, put my hand towards the wall and using the momentum of my speed as I tilt, did a wall spin to redirect my speed!

Ava then, open the front roots of her conjured shield of roots and continued running towards the golden robed man!

The bandit, who fired the arrow seems upset that the arrow didn't hit, jumped down and rushed towards Ava to subdue her!

As I saw the bandit come towards Ava, I then climbed the shield roots that were conjured and used it to dash over the bandit! The bandit with his speed raised his blade and targeted Ava's leg in order to wound and forced her to stop!

Before the bandit can even slash downward, I then use my enhance speed to grab the bandit's arm straight across my body while rotating his wrist, I then take a step back with my right foot and, keep the bandit's hand controlled against his hip while I pivot to the right while I continue to apply downward pressure on his arm as I take him down towards the ground and effectively disarming him!

The bandit writhe in pain as I lock his wrist, seeing that I need to hurry up, I then hit the back of his head using my knuckles to knock him down! I then let go of his wrist as I run after Ava!

" Wait up!' 'as i shouted towards Ava.

''..........''

Seeing that she didn't even reply, I then rushed towards her with my speed and then followed behind. ''Damn it!'' as I thought about her actions. Using the choice to run towards the golden robed man, shouldn't we wait instead of doing this kind of reckless thing? Damn it! Damn it! If she wasn't my benefactor and friend then I would have stayed there like a good boy!

As Ava arrived at the golden robed man, she then immediately uses her right hand to hold her decorated wand and channeled her blessing towards it as the energy threads pulled the arrow lodge in the man's arm and sewed the wound till it closed.

The Golden Robed man then stopped his writhing in pain as he then looks towards Ava and said:

"Thank you....for helping me young lady''

''It's fine...please stand we need to get you out here so you can save all these people''

Fuck, how the hell do we get out here? Goddamn it! Is she having shortsightedness right now? Damn, i knew she want's to extend a helping hand but shouldn't she think about it first? I don't understand ....is this because of the blessing of hers? Or is it just her mindset?

Meanwhile, as the bandits around the tree saw one of them was taken down and knock unconscious, they only clicked their tongue and continued supporting the bandits on the ground who is now currently fighting the wodfel guards.

The guards and the bandits were evenly matched! Though more guards were coming ,the bandits and it's leader didn't lose their focus and fought their battles and fight in unity!

The Wodfel guards who arrived right at the moment, saw the bandits clashing with their fellow guards and thought they are doing well. But right now their priority is to save the Golden Robed man who is also the City lord of Wodfel City! When they look around, the guards saw the city lord having two people beside him! The man is watching the two and keeping his heads ups while the robed woman was currently treating the city lord on what it seems to be an injury.

Seeing the city lord alive, the guards didn't falter no more and charged their way towards the golden robed man with their heavy armor and shields! Though there is a lot of people needed to be saved, they must prioritize the man who leads Wodfel City to be safe at most! Without the golden robed man, this city would fall into chaos and that is one thing they can never allow!!
