--* Valley of Alexander, Underworld *--
The Underworld is home to many different creatures and terrifying monsters alike, from ancient dragons to souls lucky enough to escape punishment for their sins; it truly is a grand melting pot of supernatural beings. These demons survive and thrive in its cruel environments, building communities and connections amongst each other hoping to obtain ways to grow ever stronger. While some enjoy this social life, others tread a different path, a path filled with tribulation and solitude, but also immeasurable gain.
While massive cities and towns filled to the brim with demons rise and fall with the waves of time, lone demons acquire power through dangerous experiences forged by the harsh wastelands of the Underworld. Met by rampaging beasts crafted out of hellish remains and corrupted souls and extreme climates capable of turning one into a puddle of melted flesh, these demons are fated to a difficult life. With indomitable determination, they face their fears and torture their bodies, all to obtain strength necessary to become the epitome of pure unadulterated power in the Underworld.
From chasms filled with ghastly apparitions wailing in pain as they seek prey, to mountains covered with poisonous fog; surviving in the Underworld was a huge undertaking. One’s life could be taken with a single blink of an eye, all the effort of attaining power wasted due to a single moment of carelessness. With this, many lives have been taken by the claws of a cunning monsters or the unpredictable weather of hellfire and acid rain.

To prevent this, demons seek out the aid of others in hopes of creating a community where they can be safe from the wild, untamed lands covering the Underworld like a blanket. While many are successful in their endeavors, the world sought complete chaos. Rampaging packs of monsters constantly roamed the lands, ripping apart the flimsy walls of unfortunate cities and hellfire rain from the red skies like meteors. Day after day, these oases are destroyed and mangled up like a wolf’s meal, though some manage to withstand the tribulations brought by hell itself.
While danger and death lay waiting at every corner, even the most dangerous places could be tamed by the hands of powerful individuals. One such example is the expansive Soul Citadel, where demons and angels alike manage the souls of the dead. Supported by the graces of Heaven, it was a beam of light shining upon the desolate wastelands beyond. Conquering the disastrous weather, sentient land of flesh and massive hoards of berserk creatures, the Soul Citadel held its position and withstood any challenges.
The Soul Citadel was only capable of doing so due to the might of Heaven. Without it, even the Seven Princes and Emissaries cannot defend themselves from the attacks of the Underworld. Only the power of a supreme being could defy the fate of ruin.
And one such being lives deep within the void of the Valley of Alexander, the Underworld’s most dangerous, yet safest area in existence. Lying deep within the hellish continent, it was like a rift stretching across the earth, splitting the Underworld into two regions, the North Niflheim and the South Tartarus.
Horrific tornadoes and hurricanes constantly mar the air above it as fog obscure any sort of vision. Baleful screams and tortured shouts constantly fill the air along with the roar of the wind and earth. The clapping of thunder and lightning bombard anyone brave enough to even approach the storm of chaos constantly brewing in its turbulent air. Cracks of fire and magma constantly spew forth from deep within the blackened soil of the valley, burning anyone who dares to enter.

It is here where demons can find either complete peace from the dangers of the Underworld or the end of their pitiful lives. Should they brave the stormy skies and rumbling ground of fire, there is a chance to survive, a chance to acquire strength. And it is this bait that attracts the mouths of greedy and desperate demons, unwilling to stay in the chaotic world of hell.
Atop the walls of the expansive valley, a patch of darkened earth began to erupt and fly into the sky, twirling rapidly, gathering more and more stone and soil. Like a sentient being, they slowly coalesced, building upon each other in intricate designs. Violet flames lit the air surrounding the stone machine, lighting up like a towering bonfire. Shrieks and moans screamed out of the now brightly lit area, the stones fell into each other before finally finishing their creation.
A gray gate surrounded by flames, various skulls and bones inscribed deep into its foundation. Demonic beasts and souls shirked away from the area, cautious of whatever creature steps out of the gate. Instantly, the flames flared up and blinded any watchers, “Welcome to the Valley of Alexander!” a cheerful voice added to the sounds of chaos.
Three figures stepped out of the surging flames; all of them radiated strange auras of power and strength. At the forefront stood a frail looking man, his body seemed starved and famished, yet containing unprecedented might. Behind him stood two individuals clad in pitch black clothing. One was a beautiful woman, her body plump with elegant curves and smooth skin. Love and lust would erupt from anyone who witnesses her charm, but her dead and cold eyes rejected any of those feelings.
Beside her was another man, a dark cloak covering most of his muscular body, which threatened to explode with insurmountable power. Dark scars on his neck and shoulder seemed as if they were throbbing with anticipation, constantly pulsating and wiggling. As they stepped into the barren lands just before the Valley of Alexander, the gate crumbled like ruined stone, turning into a cloud of dust.
“So, what do you two think?” Beelzebub’s face smiled widely, cheer evident in his green eyes. Cracks of lightning and gale pelted the area before them, smoke and molten rocks constantly filled the sky as volcanoes erupted with madness. Taken away from the tamed confines of the Soul Citadel, Grim felt a desire to fulfill his curiosity and sense of adventure. He could train for as long as he could in the Citadel, but would that even be enough?
His hand clenched into a fist and his muscle tensed with anticipation. The true essence of the Underworld was not to hold demons and imprison them but to challenge anyone brave enough to travel its lands. To satiate the thirst of the sinful and the seekers for glory, it brings tribulations and tests to anyone willing enough to partake in them.
Let the weak die, let the unwilling cower, but legends will never be forgotten, legends will never be lost. It was time to create another legend, another story for the pages of Sin.
Grim’s eyes grew wide as he stared into the distance, through the cover of thick fog and blasts of lightning and rock.
“Grraaaahhh!------“
“You two, prepare to fight!” Beelzebub’s cheerful face glowed with glee, “Prey is here.”
