Mature Warning- Extreme violence, murder, slavery, sex, rape, and harsh language
--* Fenlei City, Missor *--
With cynical laughter, Grim continued his lonely walk through the curtain of rain. Clear crimson eyes stared forward, killing intent leaking out of them. A permanent sneer was placed upon his face as he continued to recollect the memories of his childhood.
He remembered the feeling of the knife sinking into his father’s chest as his mother screamed in horror. The feeling of blood splattering all over his face and the taste of iron as he licked the knife clean. Oh, the expression of his mother as he walked over to her while blood dripped from his crimson hand. The bliss he felt when her head rolled on the floor.
It truly was intoxicating to have the power to release himself from the bondage fate had destined him. The power to take the lives of others! Now his obscene obsession had grown into nightly hunts. Be it men or women, the elderly to little children, from petty thieves to politicians, it didn’t matter. As long as he was able to play the role of the Reaper, he did not mind what atrocities he committed.
This, however, comes at a cost.
“So, the informant was correct huh…” a voice joined the sound of roaring rain. Shifting his eyes, Grim found thirteen figures surrounding him, all of whom donned a blood red cloak. Quietly, his right hand found its way into his own shadowy cloak, grasping tightly at a knife.
“Who are you?” his throat rumbled deeply as his foot took a step back.
“Don’t even think of escaping, fiend,” another voice called out. Quickly, thirteen flashes of light surrounded Grim as the figures pulled out savage looking swords. Intricate designs were carved into the blades, giving them all a feeling of harboring malicious intent. Ignoring the metal constructs, Grim’s eyes examined their cloaks and found a nightmarish mark. On their sleeves was a tear drop shaped symbol sewn in black string.
“Blood Drop Assassins…” Grim’s hand grasped even harder at the knife hidden in his cloak.
“What do you need from me?” he asked, his crimson eyes staring deeply into the figure in front of him, a youthful boy who radiated intense amounts of danger.
“Though we do not have any obligation to tell you, I’ll whet your curiosity, seeing as it is your last day…” with that, Grim’s hand flashed, smashing into the swords pointed at him. Unfortunately, the assassins were prepared and immediately retaliated. With precise slices, Grim’s arm was accurately cut, sending it flying with a fountain of blood.
“How audacious…” the youth remarked.
“Come, we can’t talk out here, our client is waiting,” turning around, the youth walked forward into a desolate alley with Grim in tow. One of the assassins took hold of the severed limb and hid it into his robe. Though he was in anguish, Grim’s curiosity spiked as he inquisitively looked at the assassin detaining him.

Noticing the stare, the assassin grinned, “Our clients request strange things.”
Under the guise of the heavy rain, the group made their way deep into the heart of the city. The smell of blood and rot wafted through the air as rats feasted on decaying flesh dotting the alley floor. Though most people would be disgusted and horrified by the sight, many criminals and fiends make use of it for cover.
The Black Maze, a criminal’s dream. Spanning hundreds of kilometers at the heart of Fenlei City, it truly thrived as the center of the underground world. Murderers, kidnappers, petty thieves, slavers and other unlawful individuals would find this place a safe haven while civilians would stay away from it like it was the plague.
Law enforcement would regularly attempt to raid the area, with minimal success. Though they coordinated ingenious plans, the criminals of the underworld would band together to prevent their paradise from falling. The sounds of gunfire and explosions would dominate the city during these skirmishes.
As the group waded through the road of flesh, bright lights shimmered in the distance. The alley walls had long since disappeared, funneling them into a large square. The lights shined brilliantly as merchants hawked their wares and customers looked on curiously. This would be a typical marketplace if it weren’t for the wares.
Deadly weapons were brazenly displayed on the market stands while other stands marketed drugs and other illegal contraband. The smell of gunpowder joined the stench of flesh, which only grew stronger as they walked on. Several curious eyes followed their movements, yet no one took action. Though several brutes considered attacking them, when their eyes scanned the symbol on the assassin’s uniforms, their bodies were filled with fear.
The Blood Drop Assassins, one of the most infamous mercenary groups, even in the vast underground. They were well known for their ability to complete any mission contracted, be it the assassination of high-ranking political figures or committing complete genocide. As long as the client provided sufficient rewards, the Blood Drop Assassins would accomplish any task required.
It’s due to this willingness that they are feared by both sides of the coin. Millions of lives have been taken by the organization, and that number only continues to grow. In the eyes of the bystanders, Grim is only another victim under their crimson stained hands.
Suddenly, the group of red cloaks stopped.
Before them stood an imposing door, the words ‘POLVAL SERVICES’ inscribed into it boldly. A nude man was carved into the left side of the door, while the right contained a bewitching woman, who, of course, was also nude. Both of them donned a chain attached to their feet. The building held a haunted atmosphere, as the windows were all boarded up, leaving nothing to be seen. It spanned up to two stories high and was quite wide. Even in front of the door, Grim’s ears caught the sounds of suffering, pleasure, and ecstasy.
“Human slavery…” he muttered. At this instance, he knew what the contract the Blood Drop Assassins accepted. Throughout Grim’s career, he had offended hundreds of individuals, many of whom held important positions. If his guess was correct, the assassins’ client held a grudge against him.

Grim felt a hand push him towards the building, as two assassins opened the gigantic oak door. As it did so, a blast of hormones invaded his nostril and the sounds grew even louder. The room was filled to the brim with aisles of cages, all of which contained hundreds of bare men and women. Each one was large enough to contain two people however it wasn’t for storage space, but for the company’s clients.
Beastly men ravaged the women inside of the cage, where the victims weren’t able to escape. Considerable amounts of blood and semen collected on the floor as the patrons continued their gourmet. As for the male prisoners, they were chosen by mistresses whose eyes glinted with naughtiness. In addition to these services, with enough money, a client can choose to buy the slave for whatever purpose they required.
It truly highlighted the most abysmal state of humanity, but of course, it did not faze Grim whatsoever. Though he did not participate in such frivolous activities, he had witnessed women taken by multitudes of men and even children kidnapped for the joy of monsters. The darkness of the world was not easy to suppress, even with the law enforcement’s retaliation. Such a just job was not fully proof from the corruption either.
The world had truly descended in morals.
“Ah, you’re all here…” a man approached the group. He had a roguish look: suave, smooth and yet sharp like a deadly knife.
“Where’s his arm?” he frowned. The value of a slave would go down drastically if it had any disabilities, unless of course, the client requested such obscene specifics.
“Retaliation,” the youth answered, impatience clear in his poise, “take us to your boss.”
Though displeased, the rogue turned around, leading the group into the second floor, carefully avoiding any of the copulation occurring in the cages. Several imposing guards dotted the area who examined the assassins, and lastly, Grim. They knew that the only fate left for the man was slavery or death. Their boss was not a soft man, and would resort to any methods in order to achieve his goals.
“He’s in here. Make it quick,” the rogue murmured, a flash of warning imposed in his eyes. Even though he’s worked under the company for years, a deep fear was still rooted into his soul whenever he faces the boss.
The creaking of an opening door echoed out through the second floor, a sound most of the employees feared, as it signaled thunderous amounts of anger most of the time. Even a simple glance could land them into one of the cages below if their boss was irritated. They can only hope that the assassins did not offend him.
Inside of the lavish room, a plump man sat with two beauties by his side. Various expensive paraphernalia dotted the floor, ranging from large amounts of magnificent jewels to mountains of currency.
“Ah, Blood Drop Assassins, how nice that you’re all back!” he smiled though his hideous face did not seem cheerful. The amount of bloodlust escaping him froze the women by his side, but they did not dare scream. With every mistake they commit, a lashing would commence. Tens of women have succumbed to the grasps of death due to this man, and they were not willing to follow in their stead, even if they had to suffer the humiliation of pleasing such a beast.
“So, you’re Grim…” pitch black eyes examined Grim, leaking out the man’s desire to kill, “do you know why you’re here today?”
Not waiting for an answer, he continued, “I had a really great brother once. Hell, you could say he was the one that made this all possible… but can you guess what happened to him? Huh?!”
With an anguished scream, the man broke into tears, yet his eyes didn’t waver from spiting Grim.
“It’s all because of you… because of your damn hunts that he’s fucking dead! You don’t even deserve to be killed, no. You’ll be working as one of the fucking slaves those ‘madams’ who always raid my stock. Let them ravage you like a goddamn beast! You think that men are the ones who rape and torture? No, those witches are the one who grab Hell from the underworld and bring it up just so you can experience it… Hahaha…” spittle was flying everywhere as the man ranted. His eyes were completely bloodshot, and his half-naked body was even shivering. It was a truly sorry sight, so much so that the women beside him felt moved and even started to caress him.
“Pft… Hahaha! Ah, who am I kidding,” suddenly, the man exploded into a fit of laughter. The women beside him stared in shock as if they could not believe that it was the same person.
“Grim, you’re dying here today,” he stated decisively, his eyes were cold as he motioned towards the youthful assassin. Catching the hint, the Blood Drop Assassins pulled out their swords and quickly sliced at Grim. What they expected was a fountain of blood, but to their surprise, their target had disappeared. Shock filled their eyes as they watched a shadowy cloak rush towards the middle of the room.
“Fuck! Get him!” the youth yelled, his eyes filled with panic. However, before any of them could move, an egg-sized diamond smashed heavily into the obese man’s head, spraying blood and brain matter all over the floor. As he collapsed, the two women screamed in horror as they felt the crimson stick to their skin. Instantly, Grim looked for an escape route, but the window was boarded up. His only choice was the door. With inhuman speed, he rushed towards the door however; a chilling sword met his path.
…
That night, two lives were added to the chaos of the Black Maze. A human trafficking organization disappeared and the Blood Drop Assassins did not take any missions for over a month. Though it proved to be a mundane time for mortals, the underworld steered with excitement. It was the dawn of two new souls.
Welcome home, Sinners.

Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.
