《Rise Of The Swarm》Chapter 3 Demonic rabbit ( Part 1)

I explored the cave which had many tunnels that were interlocking each other just like a dungeon would have, however without the many floors that were the bane of many adventurers, my breathing started to become heavy and my movements slower then usually but I just shrugged it off because it wasn't out of the ordinary to get tired after walking for a long time especially in a place like this, at least that's what I thought at the time.
However after a long day of finding nothing of interest I was moving at a really slow pace that I felt like a snail. This made me worried about what was going on with my body, but before I could even ask the System for advice I was distracted by a bright light that stopped me right in my tracks, it was a gems!
However these gems did not seem like the ones you would find on my old world, they appeared to be translucent pearls that radiated different colors all at once but what made them very interesting was when I touched them, I felt a wave of energy passing through out my body and all the sudden my fatigue went away and I felt re-energized.
'I wonder what are these.'
[ Those are Magic crystals that can be refined into magic stones, there are many types of magic stones, however they are all commonly used by magic users to help with their cultivation, making magical items or encrypting runes on objects to give them magical affinities or buffs.]
' You can read my mind?' I asked as I stopped touching the magic crystals with my mandibles.
[ Affirmative.]
'But isn't that invasion of privacy.'
[Negative, since I was the one who reincarnated you.]

'You reincarnated me?, don't you work for some kind of higher being that assigned you to me out of pity?' I asked as I kept myself busy with inspecting the magic crystals again.
[ I do work for one, however he does not care about mortals, he only sees them as slaves or ants to be squashed at anytime.]
' that sounds... cruel.'
[You will get used to it.]
'I hope not.'I quivered as I thought about what kind of master the system had.
After finishing my inspection of the crystals, I wondered whether I should keep them or take some with me since they could stop my fatigue when it arises but I quickly shock that thought out of my head as there was no need since there were plenty of them laying on the ground, so if I felt any fatigue again I could easily return to replenish myself.
This plan was a waste of time, however I had nothing better to do, so I might as well. Anyways I went to the west side as I had finished exploring the south-side of the cave, however all I could find was magic crystals which made me wonder if this was actually a magic crystal deposit.
I then went to the north-sided, and I got a pleasant surprise, there was a group of white rabbits sleeping and running around however they were my size with was the same size as a great Dane but their eyes where crimson red that gave me shivers. {A/N: I couldn't find the accurate size of a Zerg larva but if you have have the sizes plz send a link.}
As I watched them from a safe distance I started to realize the where no rabbit holes, which meant that they lived without any predators to stalk them. Which made sense as their razor sharp teeth indicated that they were carnivores.

I watched these terrifying creatures until I felt a little bit of fatigue again, so I headed to the west side to get some magic crystal but as I turned around I was suddenly facing one of the rabbits, however this rabbit looked at me with curiosity as it tried to get closer to sniff me.
However out of fear I attacked its nose with my mandibles, which caused it to be filled with rage as it's eyes started to glow red and it started to reveal its piranha like teeth that could ripe a men limb from limb while curling up its body like a cat as it growled at me.
I was froze in place because of irrational fear when I stared into its eyes. Then it lunged at me biting my hard skin, but it couldn't penetrated and could only leave scratches however the little scratches quickly healed themselves causing it to become more frustrated.
However it didn't give up as it started aiming for my joints in quick succession, which caused me to quickly lose a lot of green blood but the wounds would heal themselves, however the rate of self-healing was getting slower as more wounds appeared, the rabbit grinned as it saw this and carried on with its merciless attack, it was going to make me suffer and was enjoy every bit of it.
'Fuck' *screeching sound*
I cursed out as the pain of being tortured and not being able to pass out was too much.
I tried to evade the rapid attacks but the rabbit wouldn't allow me to move as it was attacking the joints that enabled me to move my legs, which just show cased the prowess of this beast.
' Why am I so weak?'

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

Puppet Lord
In the year 2142, humanity’s technology has developed to the point of cybernetic and neural implants. People all have neural receptors attached to the brains, allowing for unfettered, 24 hour a day, global access to the neural net. A string of attempted break ins to a secure facility has authorities scratching their heads. Every few days, a new person is caught trying to force their way through checkpoints, reinforced doors, and cyber security. None of the perpetrators have any criminal history, and all are seemingly unconnected. Their methods are random, and worst of all, none of them have the foggiest idea why they there in the first place. Detective Jon Peld finally finds the common thread linking all the perps together, a vr mmo known as Istrius. Mind jacking is an outdated crime, one thought to have been completely eliminated centuries ago as the neural implant tech was perfected, but all the pieces fit. He can't convince his boss though, so there's only one thing left to do: investigate from the inside.

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.
