James and Samatha couldn’t have been happier if they wanted to be. Ever since James got his job as a knight, his life had changed drastically. Compared to his days as an A rank adventurer he was very much a simple and a refined man. Someone who protected the countryside, kept a little farm, and lived with his wife. James got along with the healer from his party, Samatha, who had the same plans and she knew more about farming than he ever did. Getting the job as a knight and some farmland was his plan.

James was looking at his wife with a big smile and she was looking at the new born son with an even bigger smile. After a few nerve wrecking minutes of waiting in an awkward happy smiling position on the side of the bed, James finally got to hold his child. His first thought was that he would break the child and would regret ever holding something this delicate again. The feeling James got as he held his new born child was nothing like he ever felt before. Not even when he had his first time with the house maid at age 14. His life as an awkward father has begun and it will never be the same again.

James and Samatha begin talking about the future of their child and what they wanted him to become, what they wanted to teach him and how much they would care for him. James exclaimed loudly “My son will be the best at everything, farming, magic, swordsmanship and in looks.”. “I don't think I would want our son to be good at everything, I would be happy if he learned magic and swordsmanship at the same time” said Samantha. She knew her husband was saying things in the moment but it was a little embarrassing, right in front of the house maid.

Little did they know the baby, Luke, was listening to a completely different language, but he understood it all. Luke was in the body of a newborn but a moment ago he was talking to a weird person who claimed to be God.
