《My RPG System》Chapter 19: Dungeon clearing

As I told them, these beasts were not my opponent despite their explosive growth. I destroyed them all within a minute with my Gatling and bullet skills. I didn't even need to move away from them while casting my skills either. I cast the Gatling first followed by my bullet skill. I managed to take down or injury over half before they could get within range of the gun. When the gun joined, they were helpless and wiped out. This floor was the best of course with rewards. I got 1000 XP, 500 system points, and 250 gold. I leveled up to 9. The feeling of growing stronger brought a smile to my face. I picked up the drops and assigned the 9 stat points I got. Afterwards, we headed on up to the 7th floor.
As soon we stepped onto the floor, I instantly felt suffocated before I managed to fight off the attack on my mind. i assumed the others felt the same because their brows furrowed for a second. I needed to find a way to improve m mind stat. If not, I would not be able to go much further. I read the stats and number of the beasts here. As expected, the number and CP of them rose. There were a dozen this time and they were between 400 and 410. I thought I would have been able to go at least the 10th floor this time, killing by myself, but it seemed this would not be possible. the chaos intensified more and more the higher we went. I sighed and prepared to engage them. However, Nick held me back.
Nick: "Wait. I know you felt hat we did. The chaos here is way higher than the 6th floor. I also can tell that these goblins are way stronger as well. We will help. I don't want you to take risks just to be stronger, plus we still have over half the dungeon to complete. I want us to remain healthy and as ready as possible for as long as we can."
Me: This floor is still within my limits. Though, it will be a bit harder, I can still kill them all without being hurt. You all can be ready to jump in at anytime, just in case something does happen, but I am almost 100% confident of my ability to clear it without issues."
Nick frowned, seemingly about to disagree, but my father spoke up.
Dad: "We should let him. First, it will be experience for him, and second, his mother and I have been training him to fight. He has made good progress and he should be able to handle this. However, after this floor, his solo fighting will end. Al of us should step in as well. How about it?"

Nick: "Alright, we will go with that. however, be careful. If I see that you are in the slightest amount of trouble, i will step in. Understand?"
I nodded and asked for another monster attraction fluid. They handed it to me, and I stepped forward, aimed, and threw. it landed in the center of the room, immediately sending the goblins into a frenzy and attracting them over to the landing spot. I started to cast mana bomb, using 30 mana this time. As soon as they were gathered together, I fired. it arced through the air and hit my target. ass it landed, it expanded and covered the entirety of the hoard. i heard roars of pain echo throughout the floor. the others tensed up just in case I needed help. I didn't. When everything settled and I could see clearly, all the beasts had lost two-thirds of their health. I cast Gatling gun and bullet. With the damage and attack speed of it at level 5, I was able to finish two of them in a second. The gun was even better at killing, eliminating, 5 in that time. needless to say, there wasn't an issue, they were all slaughtered in no time.
10 Goblins killed. Rewards:
+ 2450 XP
+1225 system points
+662 gold
All that experience allowed me to get to level 11 from 9. My CP grew to 646. Wen i leveled up to 10, I received a shit ton of notifications but I ignored them for now. After we dealt with the dungeon, and I was free, I would see what they were and deal with it then. The group allowed me to rest for a few minutes to recover my lost mana. While doing so, they went over what we were going to do battle rise for the rest of the dungeon. My father and Nick would be at the front lines and be the tanks. Misha, my mother, and I would be in the middle providing ranged damage. Amy was a healer so she would be in the back for support. Nina would be roaming freely as an assassin, and use stealth to attack open opponent's vital points. With the formation set, we entered the 8th floor, 10 minutes later.
8th Floor: 15 goblins, mutated, CP: 550 - 570
We did not want to waste anytime, so we got to the slaughter. Misha launched a monster attraction potion, attracting the beasts to the center, while I launched a mana bomb, engulfing them and shredding their HP by half. Right after, my father and Nick charged out with their weapons, and attacked while the beasts were recovering. My mother started launching lightning blasts at the goblins stunning and damaging them while I launched bullets and casting Gatling gun to clear the enemies that were on their last breath. Nina and Misha were not idle either, and launched their attacks. Misha launched arrows, and Nina flashed around wielding her daggers and attacked when she got the chance. most of her attacks landed critical s. this wasn't even a battle, it was a massacre. The group was too strong, as expected with A-rankers. the beasts were finished off with 1 blow from each of them. Amy had nothing to do. The beasts couldn't break their defense if their attacks landed, which rarely happened. The fight was over basically seconds after it began.

After the bloodshed ended, the group cleaned up, splitting the drops evenly between everyone. We all grouped up and recovered any bit of strength we lost, despite it being very very little. We spoke very little, just uttering words like good job or what they were going to do when this was over. After we recovered, we stood up and continued upward. the 9th and 10th floors were much of the same. Enter, defend the mind against the chaos, survey the surroundings and the beasts, attack. We used the same tactic, for each floor as well as the same formation, Each battle didn't last more than a minute despite the rise in strength of the beasts.
9th Floor: 15 goblins, mutated, CP: 620 - 680
10th floor 5 Goblins, mutated, CP: 800 - 850
The chaos on each floor got more and more intense. On the 10th floor before starting the killing, Nick brought some necklaces out of his space ring.
Nick: Here, take one each. These here are Soul protecting necklaces. They should be able to eliminate or lessen the pressure on our minds from the chaos. They break after a certain amount of pressure so let's hope they last until we get the hell out of here."
As soon as mine was put on, I felt the pressure of the chaos on my mind significantly lessen. I definitely had to get me some of these if I don't find a way to increase my mind stat.
After we cleared the 10th floor, we had to recover again as well as prepare ourselves for anything, The beasts could change again if the pattern of this dungeon continued. As we entered the 11th floor, we all remained alert and vigilant. We slowly stepped onto the floor, and looked around. The terrain and environment was the same and due to the necklaces, we barely felt any of the chaos. We also noticed something else, something really weird. it gave us a very bad feeling. There were no monsters on this floor, like, at all. We continued to look around, confused as all hell not speaking. After about 3 minutes, we confirmed that there was nothing here.
Nina: "There is nothing here. Nothing using stealth either. i would have been able to notice with a skill of mine. What the fuck is going on?"
Nick: "I don't know, but whatever it is, I do not like it. I am getting a bad premonition that whatever it is, it is going to get worse. We need to hurry up. However, remain on guard. Whatever this is, we will find out real soon, probably at the top. Let's go."
12th Floor: Nothing
13th floor: Nothing
14th floor: Nothing
The following three floors were the same. No creatures. Just the chaos trying to attack our minds. With each floor, the feeling of danger just continued to rise. I was feeling tense and stressed as well as the others. On the 14th floor after making sure it was clear, we stopped once again to have a small meeting before heading up to the final floor.
Nick: "The next floor is the last. it should be the dungeon boss. However, I am afraid that this will not be so simple with the chaos as well as what was going on with floors 11 through 14. I am sure that we will find out what's going on on this floor. We need to be prepared for anything. Make sure you have any potions ready to go, and your skills on standby. This will likely be a much harder fight for you Aug. We are rank A so this floor will likely not be too difficult for us. For you however, you are only an E-rank. Be careful. we will protect you as much as we can. Are you all ready?"
We all looked at one another and nodded our heads with confidence.
Nick: "Alright. let's go kick some monster ass!"
