《My RPG System》Chapter 5: .....

Arriving in the dining room for dinner, me and dad sat down at the table, which was already set . Mom went to the kitchen and brought out the pot of stew. Oh man did it smell really good. I couldn't wait to chow down. She sat the pot on the table and filled the bowls. Once the bowls were filled we started to eat and talk. What about? My system of course. Duh!
Mom: "So, tell us about this RPG system that you got. What is it? I have never heard of such an agility before. Could be something completely unique to you."
I looked at her with a small grin. Of course I am the only one with it. Most likely, no one from earth has ever transmigrated to this planet. And with the fact this planet doesn't have electronics let alone RPG games, it makes sense that no one has ever heard of it before. Before I answered, I thought carefully about how I should reply. I can't say that I have traveled from one world to another. That would sound completely bonkers. So, I decided to blame the system.
Me: "According to the information I got from the system, there are other worlds out there besides this one. There is a planet called Earth out there where this ability is based off of. On Earth, they have these things called role playing games. People on earth make a character in an alternate reality and fight monsters and stuff to grow stronger. It is a lot like what our planet does except that it is not real there. On that planet, there is no such things as monsters or other races in reality. Its all fake and made up. So my ability is the system of those Earth role playing games. I can grow stronger by fighting monsters and earning something called experience points. By accumulating enough of them I can level up and earn stat points. The stat points can be used to improve my power. For example, I can put points into strength to improve my physical attack or my intelligence to improve my magic. I can choose to where to put them. besides earning experience, I can also do missions assigned by the system to earn rewards like more experience, additional stat points or other things. From fighting monsters, besides earning experience, I can also get gold, items or something called system points. I can use these system points to exchange for things in my system store. I also have an inventory space where I can put things so I won't need a space ring or space pouch to carry around. Oh yeah, I have a status display I can pull up at anytime to see my stats and combat power. I wont need a analyzer stone for that. I can even show you it or even your own if you want. Before you ask, yeah, I can see your stats as well. Any questions?"

With a grin, he continued to look at his parents expressions. As he talked, he could see their expressions continue to change from shock to wondering, to amazement and back to shock. Their was silence for a moment before they recovered.
Dad: "Hmmm. That is quite interesting. In regard to other worlds, there are indeed other planets beside ours. There are numerous other. As for this planet called Earth, I have never heard of it. As for this system of yours, it sounds quite extraordinary. I would like to see what it can do in the future when we train. You said you have a stat screen you can display and even show us. Can you pull it up so we can take a look? It's uhh for research purposes of course."
My mother and me just looked at each other with silly expressions on our faces. The same thing ran through our heads at that moment...shameless! I shook my head and gave a light chuckle.
Me: "Ok. here you go. Just don't be so shameless next time."
I pulled up my stat panel and adjusted the settings so others could view it. Now, me and my parents were looking at this, floating in the air.
For the next few minutes, silence just hung in the air. My parents read and reread the display just to make sure they read it correctly. I did too. I was pleasantly shocked at my starting stats. These numbers were just too good. I was already at 106 CP. I was an E-rank adventurer starting out. From what I have heard, everyone has a CP starting in the F rank when awakening. Me, I started out at E-rank. I wonder what the people at the government ID office will say when I go tomorrow. Finally, after they read it a good half a dozen times, my parents came out of their stupor.

Mom: "My goodness....106 already just after awakening. Have you ever heard of this honey?"
Dad: "No. First time witnessing this. Generally, the higher your CP is after awakening, the better the ability and the more potential you have. With a start up of 106, yours is huge, probably the best in the country if not the world. However, just because you may have huge potential for growth, doesn't mean you should slouch. Right now you a like a little bug. Weak. you have to put in the effort to grow."
My mother immediately slapped him in the arm after hearing what he said.
Mom: "Don't say that! You'll terrify him!"
I shook my head.
Me: "No. It's fine. I am not a child anymore and what he said is true. Right now, I am truly weak. Just because I have potential does no mean I am strong. If I want to become strong like you two, I will need to put in the effort. And I am planning too."
My dad nodded his head in approval while mother had tears in her eyes. I imagined in her head she was thinking you'll always be my little Auggie. I grimaced a bit at the name.
Dad: "After we get your ID tomorrow, We will begin training. You better be prepared."
I nodded. Before my father could say anything else, my mother clapped her hands.
Mom: "Alright! Who is ready for some cake?"
