"You mean I can stay here as long as I like?"

Damion always lived in a small house with Uncle Henro in the village, so it was the first time for him seeing such a big house belonging to such a small amount of family. Damion's mouth was wide open under his mask at the site of the young woman's home in Aislentor

A day before Damion arrived in Aislentor....

"Um so why did you help us? You could've just minded your business and letthe bandits take us?" The young woman looked at Damion who was facing the window.

"I helped because I needed a ride to somewhere so if I helped you, I could get a free ride." Damion stared back at the woman.

"Oh um but still though thank you for rescuing us. Mister....?"

"Dacian. The name's Dacian.(Can't tell my real name to a stranger.)" Damion looked outside the carriage it was still early afternoon

"My name is Adalia Quilterain, i'm a noble from Aislentor" The young woman declared with her hand on her chest.

Damion asked why they were so far out of the kingdom. Adalia explained that she had visited a relative in another kingdom and were just heading back to Aislentor.

Back to the present....

Damion is now staying at the Quilterain family home. Damion was given 200 gold and a place to rest in the Kingdom. Though he had a place to rest but he still did not want to relax. First he needed to register for an adventurer's license but it was already night so he had no choice to wait until tomorrow. The Quilterain had invited him for dinner so he could not reject their offer. He wanted to go on quests and grind to raise his level for a few weeks so he thought he would not really need to stay at such a grand home for the whole time, so he decided to leave in the morning.

"So how do you like the food, Sir Dacian?" The Head of the Quilterain family, Adalia's Father, Luther Quilterain.

"Um its good.(Damion had used appraisel first to see of it was poisoned)" Damion sllightly bowed to him.

"I will be heading out in the morning tomorrow but I thank you for letting me rest here." Damion bowed again.

Adalia stood up from her chair.

"Why in such a rush?" The woman who appeared to be the lady of the house, Adalia's mother, Maria Quilterain.

"I apologize if this comes across rude but it is none of your business what I do." Damion looked at the whole Quilterain family while saying that then proceeded to finish his meal and exit the dining room.

"Tch, filthy commoner, does he know any manners. We are trying to repay him and this is how he treats us. Adalia this why you should never interact with commoners." Adalia's father got up from his seat stared at the seat where Damion was sitting with a disgusted look. 

"But Dear, he saved our daughter's life. We shouldn't look down at him because he's not a noble." Maria calmed Luther down and all of them coninued with their meal.

The next morning....

Damion had left the Quilterain home after training and having breakfast. He had bid farewell to the family bowing and waved them goodbye. The Family told Damion that he was welcome to come back and stay at their place or if he needed anything, they would do their best to help him for saving their daughter

"Why did you leave so early?" Alvollas had finally spoke through telepathy to Damion.

"You know Lichs right? The undead leader of skeletons which fight for it. Necromancers too, they all have undead creatures fight for them but their kind of weak by themselves. So if I get the power to raise the dead while having the power of a strong adventurer, I could be like a solo adventurer without need for help of anyone." Damion explained to Alvollas who was shocked that his master had such an idea. Damion thought it was a good idea to gain power.

"How do you intend to attain the power to raise the dead?" Alvollas questioed Damion who seemed deep in thought.

Damion could not really sleep last night in the Quilterain home so he decided to look through their library and found information on the undead. Necromancers attained the ability to raise the dead from grabbing a grimoire of death from lichs. There was also story about the Lich King who had the power to take over the whole world with the millions of skeleton warriors behind him but the Great Hero 200 years ago sealed him in an ice cave all the way in the south. Some evensay that the Lich King could have defeated the hero who had the holy sword.

"Seems like you really did your research on the undead" Alvollas cheerfully said to Damion .

"I know I did but I still need more so I need to go the guild"

Damion rushed to the Adventurer's Guild to register after telling Alvollas what he intends to do.

"I need to take a test to recieve my rank?" Damion looked at receptionist. Damion thought all adventurers started at Copper rank 3rd Tier.

"Yes there is a competiton held near the kingdom colosseum where you can compete with other wanting-to-be adventurers for first place which gives a Gold Rank 3rd Tier liscense and 300 gold as the prize. The competiton takes place in 30 minutes." The receptionist looked at Damion who had his arms crossed.

"So do you have the directions to the colosseum?" Damion desperately asked the receptionist

"Um, yes you have to turn right and left then straight after you exit the Guild, its really big so I don-"

Damion dashed through the guild after he had heard the directions. He was so excited, Gold Rank Tier 3, he could be a higher-ranked adventurer than his father. He could also experience fights against skilled opponents and become stronger so he could not wait to get there. Damion thanked his village god Heila for such good timing for this opportunity to get stronger
