《My son is a Reincarnator... But so am I!?》I've come to bargain!

Soon, the Grandmaster’s voice came to Zi Yang’s brain, “Yo!”
Zi Yang tapped his table and hummed “Yo! Grandmaster- Hold on, bro. What’s your name.” Klink interjected [Hey!] The Grandmaster cut him off and chuckled, “Relax, Klink. You want to know my name? Maybe. Depends what you want to talk about.”
Zi Yang said directly, “Your offer, I want to counter it.” The Grandmaster chuckled and asked “What makes you think you can?” Zi Yang looked at his fingernails and grinned “Firstly, kill me if you want to, I don’t really care. Secondly, I feel my soul has more worth than you teaching 50 people your knowledge and cutting off their path forward in that area.”
The Grandmaster was silent and Zi Yang continued “Let’s say I take your deal, yeah? You cripple 50 of my then core members, what am I supposed to do when I get to where you are? Shit in a hole and then sleep in it? I want more bang for my buck.”
The Grandmaster smirked, looking at Zi Yang through a circular mirror, floating in the air. He was laying on his stomach in the air and chewing on a candy, as he said “What’s your counter offer?”
Zi Yang snapped his fingers and replied almost immediately “I want all my people to have either their ages reverted to their prime or advanced to prime. For example, Old Bai from the assassin’s club, bring him back to 20-25 and the orphans from Heisha’s to 16-18. Max age for anyone is 25 and the minimum is 16.”
The Grandmaster rolled in the air and hummed to himself before replying “Simple time manipulation… Interesting. Anything else?”
Zi Yang stroked his chin and narrowed his eyes, adding “I want a full remolding of the Zi Clan compound.” The grandmaster’s eyes lit up and he asked again “Next?” Zi Yang chuckled “And some wine that doesn’t taste like fucking shit.”

The Grandmaster clapped and laughed “Only this? No problem, the cost of your extra requests… hmm. Extensive knowledge, age regression and acceleration, remodeling job, and a fine wine… Considering the costs for the remodeling job, plus the effort to brew the wine…”
He snapped his fingers and his lips curled into a sly smile as he added “Your soul simply isn’t worth enough, my friend.” Zi Yang was stunned and calculated in his head before retorting “Normal materials for the Remodeling are fine.”
The grandmaster held his chin and mumbled to himself “I haven’t used ‘those’ in a long time…” he tilted his head back and forth before clapping “I’ll do you a favor. I’ll give you ‘special’ materials and modify the ages of your selected individuals to their prime, bone age and all, for one and a half reincarnations.”
Zi Yang frowned “How does a half work?” The grandmaster replied “So far you work for me for 1 whole life, if you do the deal it’ll be another one and a half, meaning when your natural lifespan reaches the halfway point of that life, you’ll be free. Of course, you can choose to continue working for me, I never treat my people poorly~”
Zi Yang narrowed his eyes and asked “What are the effects of you taking so many of my reincarnations?” The Grandmaster’s eyes flashed and he smirked “You actually don’t experience any disadvantages in this life. If, or rather when, you die, I will take my cut from you. People with low reincarnations supply will start to get naturally weaker as the strength of their soul wanes significantly. So like those constantly tired people with several illnesses and diseases all the time, they’re most likely at their 7th or 8th reincarnation…”
He chuckled and added “Or they have extremely shit luck. However! I can also eat your reincarnation and strengthen my own soul to gain an extra reincarnation for myself.” he made a disdainful face and continued “But only those trash old men use that method. What’s the fucking point of living again so many times if I don’t remember anything? Unless someone significantly stronger than me helps, I’ll just be a noob when I return.”

Zi Yang hummed and nodded “Okay, I see. Basically, I don’t have any disadvantages at all.” The Grandmaster laughed and replied “Well, no. If you die before you get to me, I will reincarnate you with your memories out of spite and make you work for me in agony because you wasted my time. Maybe your next reincarnation will have a world without powers? Then you’ll be fucked buddy.”
Zi Yang turned green and he chuckled nervously “So don’t die?” the Grandmaster nodded “Smart boy!” Zi Yang gulped and asked “I have a question, why me?” The grandmaster sneered and asked “Aren’t you a special snowflake! What do you mean, why you? I can reincarnate someone else and kill you if you want.”
Zi Yang held out his hand and said quickly “Okay, okay!” The grandmaster chuckled and asked “So? Do we have a deal or not? I’ll even throw in a special gift just for you!”
Zi Yang calculated before saying “Fuck it, alright. It’s a deal.” The grandmaster clapped happily and said “Great! I was right about you, kiddo! You really got guts!” as he reached into the mirror.
Zi Yang watched in shock as a white human hand extended towards him from the void. The space around it started cracking and twisting as the grandmaster said “Hurry up and shake on it or the entire world is gonna collapse.”
Zi Yang shook the hand and it felt like the toughest material he had ever come into contact with. If the Grandmaster didn’t move his own hand Zi Yang definitely wouldn’t be able to even if he was a billion times stronger.
The hand disappeared and the space returned to normal.
Zi Yang felt something before it disappeared, he looked around and the Grandmaster’s voice sounded in his head again “Chill. It’s just a contract pact. If I don’t fulfill the conditions I’ll be punished and if you somehow refuse to give me the reincarnations, you’ll be punished. Like a normal contract, I didn’t use the life and death one. This one’s easier, plus the other one needs my blood and you’ll probably explode from even looking at it.”
Zi Yang’s lips twitched as he replied “Yeah, thanks man…”
The grandmaster laughed and the duo heard a voice say “Oh. So you’re eating candies before dinner, eh?” Zi Yang was silent and the grandmaster froze, turning pale, he quickly said “You got guts kid. I like that about you, most people would cower in fear of my godly power and constantly praise me hoping they don’t offend me, but to be honest I don’t really like that, it just feels fake. You’re a genuine guy, don’t die.”
Zi Yang smiled happily and said “I’ll try not to…” The grandmaster grinned “Hiro. My name’s Hiro. See ya, kid.” before his voice disappeared from Zi Yang’s head, but Zi Yang remembered the name.

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds. Together, with the help of her best friend/his ex-girlfriend Elena, they begin to unravel secrets about their town and their pasts, learning that some secrets are better left buried and grudges can be held for centuries.

Magikind [Original]
The third millennia, a time of change and evolution. An era, where people, through countless generations, have evolved strange powers and abilities. Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some refused to change or adapt. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin, will herald a new era for all Magikind. A story of how man could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. Disclaimer: Chapters will be edited once the first volume is done. Bear the beginning for the time being, and hopefully you can see my writing improving over time (I've learnt a lot on how to write because of this (though I'm still not perfect :P)) Proud Member of Writers to the End, WriTE The link to the pledged fictions PS. If you find the 'notes' too boring or too info-dumpy, feel free to skip them and just read the main chapters. They're there for the reader to understand Gin's world (written in the perspective of Gin). But later on, we can see some interactions between the main characters and the occasional references to his past in the notes, so it has its purpose.
