《My son is a Reincarnator... But so am I!?》The deal

Zi Yang opened his eyes and Klink continued [What have you been doing?] Zi Yang was confused and asked “Weren’t you there?” Klink replied [Yeah, but I was confused…]
Zi Yang sighed and commented “Are you a system or a dumbass?” Klink decided not to respond to such a rude question as Zi Yang continued on “Obviously, I was scouting talents! That girl from the brothel has an eye for interior design as well as the arts. I don’t need a brothel in my payroll, who’s going to work there? I can’t trust these whores. So, I will simply turn it into a Scholar’s brothel.”
Klink was even more confused and asked [What the fuck is a Scholar’s brothel?] Zi Yang chuckled and answered “Very simple, my mechanical friend! It’s a place where people can go to watch beautiful women play instruments and display the arts! Calligraphy, Music, Painting, Chess, Poetry, etc!”
Klink asked again [For what though?]
Zi Yang clicked his tongue and asked “What’s it to you?” Klink was silent for a second before replying [Just wondering.] Zi Yang asked instead “How does that work, by the way?” Klink asked [How does what work?]
Zi Yang asked “How do you wonder? Aren’t you just a system? I thought systems just gave missions, stats, and gave items/rewards… Why are you so… Lively?” Klink paused and replied after a few seconds [I can’t answer this question.]
Zi Yang was confused and said “What? Why?” Klink responded [Because you don’t even have a cultivation base and you don’t need to know. All I can tell you is that the Grandmaster is more powerful than you can even imagine. He can cough in the opposite direction of where you're standing, from 5 trillion dimensions away, and still kill you.]

Zi Yang was stunned and couldn’t speak for a full minute before shouting “Holy fuck! That’s insane! I really want to meet this guy!” Klink snorted [Fat chance, buddy. You’re not even trash right now, you’re like scum under the trash. Plus… I’m not a regular system by conventional means…]
Zi Yang was confused again but Klink changed the topic before he could ask again, [Anyway, I have news for you. You have another deal from the Grandmaster.]
Zi Yang got excited but then frowned as he said “He’s helping me too much. What’s the point?” Klink stated [Actually… It’s not help necessarily… If anything he’s only speeding things up.]
Zi Yang touched his chin and waved “What’s the deal?” Klink said [The Grandmaster will take another Reincarnation from you and personally train 50 people of your choosing.]
Zi Yang was stunned and shouted in disbelief “What the fuck?! How is that not help! They’ll be able to kill me with a fart when they come back?!” Klink corrected [Actually, they won't.]
Zi Yang tilted his head in confusion before saying quickly “Cute system, can you speak all your words at once? You’re going to give me a fucking aneurysm.” Klink made gear grinding noises before saying [The Grandmaster said that he would train them, yes, but it isn’t cultivation related. The Grandmaster is the second best at everything you can imagine.]
Zi Yang interjected “Who’s the first?” Klink responded [Obviously, the Grandmistress.] Zi Yang’s lips trembled and he asked “Can she teach them instead, then?” Klink paused for a few seconds before saying [Buddy, between me and you, don’t say this to the grandmaster, okay? He’ll break all three of your legs before you can even think of apologizing.]

Zi Yang’s eyes twitched and he shook as Klink continued back on topic [Ahem* The Grandmaster will teach them whatever you want. Assassination, Combat, Calligraphy, Marketing, Hacking, Toy Making, Rocket Science, Interstellar Transport, Galactic Empyrean Conquest Tactics, Farming, Writing, Math, Music, etc. basically whatever you can think of, the Grandmaster can teach.]
Zi Yang’s eyes were wide with envy and greed, Klink added [He will not teach you.] Zi Yang complained “Why not?!” Klink sneered [Why would he? If he wanted to teach someone, you would still be a wandering soul. You have to climb your way to the top through constant battles and blood. The difference between teaching someone something and that same person realizing it on their own is immense! The people the Grandmaster teaches probably will never surpass the Grandmaster’s own knowledge in that area.]
Zi Yang opened his mouth and Klink shut him down, saying seriously [You’re overestimating the Grandmaster. He’s powerful, but not the absolute strongest. Knowledge is infinite, as the saying goes ‘Those who know everything, know nothing.’ Though they will have extreme expertise in their areas, they will never advance. It has nothing to do with cultivation, however, so their potentials will not be harmed.]
Zi Yang frowned and tapped his finger on the table, muttering to himself.
It sounded great, but there were drawbacks.
First of all, he would be down one more reincarnation and be at 6 left.
Secondly, his people wouldn’t surpass the Grandmaster or whatever his name was.
Though this was extremely far off into the future, Zi Yang was still calculating for it. He didn’t want anything to happen to his people no matter what. Even if they stagnated, he would forcefully drag them with him until he died or they caught up.
His people were his people, a little thing like death wasn’t going to stand in his way.
His eyes brightened and he asked “Let’s say one of the rewards is knowledge of something from the system, where does it come from?” Klink responded [From the Universe itself.] Zi Yang replied “I don’t know what that means but I assume it won’t halt progress?”
Klink replied [Correct, however you can’t share that. It goes directly to your brain.] Zi Yang grinned and replied “I can teach them too, no?” Klink paused for a moment before nodding [Yeah.]
Zi Yang nodded and tapped the table with his finger, thinking about his options. He suddenly asked [Klink, can you talk to the Grandmaster?] Klink replied [Yeah. Why?]
Zi Yang grinned “I want to bargain with him.”

A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...

If you like my work, donations are greatly appreciated! Monolith is a tale of fantasy, which quickly fades into dark fantasy. We are introduced to members of the Aerys family just before they are torn away from each other and tossed into the fray. They will need to endure and survive the many conflicts of this world at war and forge alliances with past enemies to combat the even darker threat ahead. Monolith will feature grim battles against grotesque beasts and tyrannical lesser gods. Heroes, favourites, and foes may be lost in the strife. Join Reid as he struggles to keep his small settlement safe and protects a secret from his family in the mysterious cellar. Follow Hailey on a journey into the woods to discover the magical world. Will Jon and his young cousins follow in the dark footsteps of their family or will they set out on their own path? Author's Notes: My work is often graphic and mature in nature. I only recommend it for the fans who are not faint of heart. This work will contain swears, violence and occasional sexual dialogue. With that fair warning done, I plan to constantly edit previous chapters as I go back to them, so they are all subject to change over time. Most of the events will remain the same but as I get more time to write I'd like to add details that I couldn't add while constrained for time. Thank you for taking the time to check out Monolith! Really appreciate it. Hope you enjoy it and look forward to the upcoming events!
