《Spatial storage of all things ( Dropped )》Group battle? New rival

What the snakemen used were poison jets that they fired from their staffs. It was definitely a spell as abilities shouldn't be so lame, at least, abilities of elites. Ozz, who did nothing but roll around until now got in front of them, taking the full brunt of the attacks.
Unlike Abacus though, Ozz was perfectly fine. It seems like slimes had immunity towards their own element, balancing their lack of intelligence, visible from his speech pattern.
Then, Ozz shook a little, inflated twice his size and exploded. It was not really an explosion as everything was shot towards the snakemen. Furthermore, the explosion was just small parts of Ozz that attached to the enemies and corroded them.
Meanwhile, the fallen Abacus got back up from the ground, with his wounds closing quickly enough to be visible to the naked eyes. He then rained down lightning towards the still corroding snakemen. One of the two seemingly cast a light shield, effectively stopping the lightning from touching them.
The situation entered a stalemate but, something unexpected and shouldn't happen when two teams of roughly equal strength fought just happened. The two snakemen, who still had most of their strength shrouded in mystery, the same two who were most likely the main damage dealers of their team died.
The reason for their untimely and unfair death was, of course, Luke, who, with his haunting march sneaked up on them before the shield rose. Then, he just had to stab them with his daggers, obviously at their eyes since he wanted a sure, unmissable kill.
To sum up, he just did his job, he assassinated them. He could have chosen to kill the enemy leader but decided on these two since they count as two kills. He thought that maybe, just maybe this training allowed them to earn points by killing enemies and winning their fights.

He hoped he was right since as a proud assassin, he would rake in points like a pillaging Viking. Everyone else, be it the snakemen or his partners looked at him in either awe or fear, according to their relationship with him but all of them looked at him alertly.
No one saw him do anything and two people, who should be their equals died in the blink of an eye. They couldn't do anything. No matter how strong they initially were, they just dropped dead after a single move. That was scary to say the least. The fight, which should have been the theater of epic faceoffs, twists and hard fight already had a winner, because of one individual.
But they swiftly all recovered their bearings. The fight is not finished, yet. The snakemen's new objective was to kill the maximum amount of enemies they could while Luke's team had to survive at all costs. This is because unlike Luke who could only make conjectures, they were all from already system baptized species.
They all knew what happens upon death and what happens when you kill. They win or lose points, simple as that. Victory offers a lot of points while kills offer points depending on the value of those you killed. They obviously didn't tell that to Luke, after all, the less he knows about this, the better it is for them. Though, it was only knowingly done by Milfa and Lou. Abacus and Ozz just didn't bother.
In other words, the snakemen were doing their best to earn a maximum of points to minimize their losses, and even gain something if they are lucky while Luke's team just wouldn't risk it. Getting killed is often more expensive than what you earn by killing.
The snakemen immediately ruled out Luke of their target list as he was way too dangerous and concentrated on the others. They wanted to quickly kill at least one before he comes for them. But as they were about to bring out their strongest firepower on his team, Luke fired a stack of ten dark blasts on the weakest looking snake man, who mirrored Milfa's lightning blast earlier.

They did the stupidest thing they could at this moment, they ignored Luke's presence. Objectively speaking, they were right as Luke being able to sneak up on their allies and quickly killing them not only bring down their strength, but it also made them helpless against him. Furthermore, they could never think that Luke could kill them so easily, without using all his power. Unfortunately, they didn't just have a random dude like them to face off but Luke, the overpowered demon.
This cost them another swift death, letting the leader and his only remaining partner face four people as powerful as them. They didn't even try to defend anymore and just let themselves be swiftly killed. Milfa and Ozz hit the jackpot by delivering death blows.
Afterward, they all looked at Luke with apparent fear but most of all relief. They didn't have to go against this monster, not now, not ever in the entire ECB at least. Moreover, it was the perfect chance to befriend a future rising star. That was just what Milfa and Lou were thinking but Ozz and Abacus didn't think that far, they were just happy they won. That's it. Their special bodies really compensated their low intellect.
Lou, as the leader spoke first, not without some stiffness, coming from his lack of speech habit. " That was unexpectedly amazing, I'm glad I'm in your team. You are surprisingly strong for someone who just interacted with the system recently. "
Milfa who was very happy of her kill added " Yeah, that's for sure. You could even rival that Lion monster. "
Abacus just laughed out " Let's not talk about useless stuff and just celebrate our victory! Haha! " " Ozz happy, Ozz eat. "
Milfa then looked at Abacus amusingly " You want me to tell him that you qualified him of useless stuff? "
Abacus' face immediately became somber "... no thanks " Causing Lou to smirk and Milfa to laugh.
' Who is that Lion guy? Even after what I showed them they still think he is better? Seems like the ECG is not in name only. '
* Congratulations! You won your first group battle and were the second team to win. You earned 1000 PTS. You killed 3 soldiers... calculating... you earned 800 PTS, 800 PTS, and 900 PTS. You will shortly be teleported to the resting area. *
Having his conjecture confirmed, Luke was quite satisfied but he was also more curious about that Lion guy as he guessed he was the one who finished before him.
