《Spatial storage of all things ( Dropped )》Darkness 1

500 meters in front of Luke stood a hundred hobgoblins. They were in formation and had a clearly distinct leader, who should make the tactics. All of the week's evolution in their ranks was there: Warriors, archers, assassins, mages, tanks, and gunmen. Thinking back, the third quest was like a training camp. An extremely brutal one but still a training camp. The enemies they had to face became fiercer and fiercer, not only because of strength but because of their growing complexity. For Luke and his 'companions' though, it was like setting the nightmare mode on newbies, a real massacre.

But the enemy side had something more. It was a purple-skinned ogre who held a purple, fist-sized gem on which the word boss was marked. It threw it straight at Luke who, for some reason couldn't dodge and when it came in front of his face, they both disappeared.

This greatly alarmed the others who, without Luke would have a hard time surviving a mini-boss by themselves, even more so when the opposing hobgoblins were at the peak of their complexity. This would be a very horrendous experience.

.....

Luke who reappeared somewhere else was in front of huge, golden gates, with a blank space everywhere else. Then the system prompt resounded

* You have been chosen as the champion by default and will fight the boss. For your boss fight, you will be faced against a beginner tier 2 species. Note that its stats won't be restrained and will be its real stats.

Rewards: 3000 PTS

An explanation on tiers

Good luck soldier Luke. *

'! So these things before were restrained... no wonder they seemed weak for tier 2 species. ' Luke, right now, would be the only one arrogant enough to think like that. If there were ghosts of those who fell to these ' weak for tier 2 species ', they would haunt Luke even after his death. This also confirmed his guess that tier 2 was a milestone in and of itself. If the initial him could tie one just on the first day, then the whole tier system would be just a huge joke. It can be noted that he takes his beating from the blue-skinned ogre as a tie now. His memory of the event warped it to a more suitable result for his taste.

Then the explanation will be a very fitting reward since he will become tier 2 just after.

Putting these matters aside, Luke looked at his status first

*status :

name: Luke

Species: tier one human

strength: 36

agility: 60

intelligence: 46

resilience: 51

mana: 30

Inherited ability: spatial storage ???

firearm mastery B

poison mastery C

spells: spacewalk tier one

dark hands tier one

money: 002 PTS *

He upped all his stats by 10, apart from his agility (20) and resilience (15) with all the points he gained during the week. He could have had a higher status if he monopolized the week's enemies, which he could have done but for his special experiment, he did not, but he is sure that it will be worth it.

He then looked at the gates, took a deep breath and pushed them aside.

Once he entered, he saw an entirely different place. The blank space was replaced by an empty, dimly lit room, with only a monster in front. It was a purple-skinned ogre with purple eyes. Once their gazes met, Luke became paralyzed.

He was paralyzed by just a look, this was slightly over the top, even for a boss custom made for him. It then slowly walked towards Luke with its spear slowly spinning. It then brought it in front of itself and a black beam shot towards Luke. He stacked 10 dark hands to evade then sent a small nuke ie a hundred dark hands towards it.

Much to his horror, not only didn't it have any effects, it was even shot right back at him. He couldn't escape it and took the full brunt of his small nuke, which he countered with another one. The resulting explosion blasted him off more than 300 meters away and even provoked him to slide on the ground for another 20 meters.

He was the nearest to death he could possibly be. He chugged down potions by batches but the healing rate was not fast. The ogre which was totally unaffected slowly walked towards him. The shock of the explosion still disorienting him, Luke couldn't do anything apart from watching it come nearer and nearer.

Acknowledging his fate, Luke sighed and closed his eyes, waiting for the absurdly proud and confident ogre to get to him.

After it got in front of him, it simply raised its spear poked at his heart. All Luke could see was darkness now. A fate shared by someone else, somewhere else.
