《Spatial storage of all things ( Dropped )》End of day 2

As the ogre was finally dead, everyone was relieved but at the same time afraid. Relieved that they survived another day, afraid of the massive jump in strength of the mini-boss. As they were cheering, Isabella and Stevenson came towards Luke to thank him and discuss with him. " Wow Luke, you had such a powerful ability all along? Well, it really helped. " " Yeah, but you look really tired, are you alright? "
Once again, he didn't talk, but this time, he was busy taking deep breaths. He did so because he had to fake weaknesses to his ability. It, needing massive stamina is one and it, having a charging period is another. These weaknesses make him vulnerable. People would think he was very strong and useful but not a threat.
As he was glaring at the ogre's corpse, all the others were confused. It was dead so why would he do this? They looked back at it and had a bad feeling. The system didn't resound after all this while.
Just as he had thought, the ogre began glowing and levitating. Its injuries disappeared and it was back to top condition. It reopened its eyes and roared. Everyone got paralyzed. in the fight, Luke made sure not to let it roar for this reason but now that it is still glowing, it is invulnerable.
It then constantly shot water jets and shortly killed quite a few people. After the paralysis wore off, they all retreated in horror.
They were really despondent. It was strong, too strong for it is just the second mini-boss and now, it could revive. The surviving members looked at the heavily panting Luke and their hearts sank. That, was what we call despair.
On the other hand, Luke was frowning. The red-skinned ogre was strong, sure, but compared to the blue-skinned one, it lacked an edge. Its pressurized water was an exceptionally powerful ability, yet it was all it had. The blue-skinned ogre could swing maces and apply a stunning effect along with its almost impossible to evade fire breath. He thought that something was wrong and stayed on his guard. These things were brought up to counter him so there must be something special about it.

As Luke was even more vigilant than before, the ogre stomped the ground and everyone was shaken off two meters above it. It aimed at Luke and fired its water jet. Luke used 10 dark hands again to quickly launch him out of the way, towards the ground. As he crash-landed on it, he tried to distance himself thanks to spacewalk but it once again stomped the ground.
This stomp had no cooldown. This was definitely bad news. Furthermore, as he already used his greatly stamina demanding ability to evade, he just couldn't magically fire another one. It would make him look like a cold-hearted b*stard who let others die for petty reasons... it would blow up his cover.
As he was hesitating on whether to blow his cover or take a risk, someone unexpected acted. It was an Asian looking woman mage in her late 20s, she shot something from her cane and the ogre was paralyzed, while everyone else could move again. It seemed to be a paralytic electric bolt.
As he could move again, Luke took out his gun, which was a tweaked Glock 17. He approached the ogre and fired multiple times at its eyes, blinding it. The only reason he could do this while the others couldn't was because what his gun fired wasn't bullets, they were sharp, poisoned darts. The poison he used was a synthetic version of a black mamba's venom, it paralyzed deeply the victim and as the poison he used was a concentration of it with the goal being to bring faster effects, the movements of the ogre slowed down and its eyes, now red and blinded were its only worry as the pain was excruciating.
It was a perfect diversion. The others, seeing this situation gave their all to rain down abilities on it, in hopes to kill it before it was reminded of their existence. Luke 'charged his ability' and exploded 10 dark hands at its face, effectively killing it.

The system prompt that everyone waited for resounded and everyone cheered.

The third quest day 2 is finished. The battlefield will be restored... calculating... 54 humans are still alive... for the next quest, you will stay at your CHG as you are the majority. *
As they were private messages, everyone had different reasons to cheer but they were all happy it ended. They still feared what is to come but they were happy to live another day.
As they were cheering, Luke 'fainted from exhaustion', which greatly alarmed everyone. He had the biggest role in this victory and they couldn't bear to let him have anything bad happening to him. They quickly brought him to his tent and after verifying that he had just fainted from exhaustion, they let him rest.
' Phew, what a pain! At least I got to know about two useful people. That Asian woman, her name was Sophia if I remember well ?... She will make a good pawn. Now let's buy something useful if they have it that is... I was the one who created it so maybe, just maybe... Shop, tools, Road to death '
