《Spatial storage of all things ( Dropped )》Eventful night
Advertisement
... After a tiring day, rich in emotions, actions, reactions, and drama, everyone wanted to have a good night sleep. Everyone? Almost. Some people, whether they were too affected by the day's craziness or not at all were waiting for the night to de-stress and hope it was all just a nightmare for the former or try to find a protective shelter for the latter.
Sheila was obviously part of the second group. By observing everyone through the quests, she concluded that if she wanted to have the most chances to survive, she had to cling on to either one of the following 3 people: 1: red-haired Carl
2: kind Steven
3: enigmatic Luke
It was evident for the two wannabes... no wait... official leaders since they have the power within the group but she chose Luke for three reasons :
First, he is the only one who took the solo quest AND came back
Second, he is already within her grasps
Third: As he was relatively low key, there will be no competition.
Talking about competition, there are 20 surviving men and 39 women. Of the women, 10 were definitely eliminated because they were either too young or too old, another 8 because well, life is unfair, looks are important in the short term and 9 had the strength to be independent, the same number as the able men in the group.
That means 12 women could potentially try to get into the good books of the most outstanding men, being Steven and Carl. Of course, that's only potentially, not all women would throw their pride like that this soon or ever, following their disposition.
So, roughly an hour after everyone got to their tent, she got out from hers and got to Luke's which was quite far from the group by the way. She opened it, entered and hugged him from behind with a shy look as she asked " L-Luke, are you awake? "

" Hm... Sheila !? w-what are you doing here? " Luke answered with a groggy then startled look. Of course Luke wasn't sleeping, only pretending to. And the only reason his dagger wasn't already past her throat was that he expected this situation would happen.
" I-I am afraid by myself with all that happened today. Furthermore, with the death of Eric " at that point, her voice broke and she began to cry " he protected me with his life even though we knew each other for so little time... Please let me stay with you, I will do anything, please I'm scared " "..." he swore he could almost hear the sound of violins playing in the background .
" umm... well sure you can ( anyone got the pun ? ) wait I will make a little space for you " " no need, I'm good like this... can we keep that position? " " Yes, as you wish " With that, Luke who tried to sound flustered and Sheila who was busy pressing her breasts against his back got to sleep.
...
While they were sleeping, the situation in the camp was quite different. A lot of people slept but Carl's and Steven's tents were certainly not asleep, in every sense of the term.
As Sheila expected, opportunistic women who had the poor ability but great looks showed up, 4 in total. That was a wild night for the two official leaders who got to enjoy the fruits of their day's labor.
....
That night, the system manager who was counting on his system to overlook everything ordered it to make a report on the most outstanding humans.
* 212001 humans have shown enough potential to surpass tier 2.
2109 humans have shown enough potential to surpass tier 3
9 have shown enough potential to surpass tier 4

3 still have unknown potential.
1 human already got the qualifications to become a soldier ( tier 2 ) *
" Already !? What's his name ? " he was quite astonished by that feat. After all, having the qualifications to become a soldier is generally by the end of the tenth quest. In fact, even the most outstanding recruits had to at least participate in the fourth quest.
* Luke *
" Did he drink the vial? "
* No, he will wait until the end of the third quest *
" Good, he is not rash, the third quest is one of the most important quests, if he didn't take it, he would have wasted his potential... What's his ability? "
* Spatial storage ??? *
"! So even you don't know... it should a powerful evolution of the basic spatial storage, after all, this kind of ability shouldn't permit him to shine this quickly. Make him your number one priority within earth's humans. "
* acknowledged *
....
Morning came and people woke up one after the other. In Luke's tent, Sheila was still sleeping while he was wide awake, purchasing some clothes from the shop.
He then wore them and purchased breakfast, it was only eggs with bacon and waited for Sheila to wake up. Soon, because of the alluring smell, she also woke up and stretched " good morning Luke! " She began cheerfully with a bright smile
" huh... good morning, d-did you sleep well? " He replied quite ' taken aback '
" Yay, thanks to you. hmm! did you wait for me for breakfast? "
" Yeah, that's the least I should do. Anyway, are you really alright ? " he asked with a worried expression. A third person would think he was duped, though, there's no third person. What's important is that Sheila did.
" yes, once again thanks to you. I know I was quite forceful and selfish yesterday but it really helped. "
" well, that's what matters... let's dig in I'm starving! " He replied with a blush, changing the topic
" Yeah let's "
They ate then got out to regroup with the others

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. It's a slow paced slice of life, and while there are pieces of action, don't expect any immediate grand conflict between Erryn and Peter. Published here, scribblehub and amazon. Two new chapters a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Rise of the Cheat Potion Maker, a Cultivation LitRPG saga #1
In a blink, I found myself in an unknown land, greeted by the textbox of an unfriendly system. It wanted me to become a great hero, save the world, win the love of the people and all that crap. But this new world already had a hero. Why should I bust my ass, deal with dragons and the unknown, for people I didn't know? Let him deal with that. It's his job! So instead of being tempted by the system's nonsense, I chose a simple class. Potion maker. I wasn't interested in cultivating mana and defying the heavens, courting death, none of that crap. Unfortunately, the town I spawned near was suffering crippling inflation, merchants and people were leaving, and they themselves lacked high-demand businesses. The town would soon be going under.Not if I have anything to say about it. But will it be that easy to escape fate...? A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.
