《Spatial storage of all things ( Dropped )》Boss fight 2

With a black face, Luke searched around for a hidden boss or something but found nothing. He frowned then looked back to the ogre that he 'killed'
It was where he left it on the ground but it was faintly glowing and the next instant, it started to levitate while glowing brighter and brighter. Then it stopped and got back down to the ground but on its feet with all of its previous injuries healed.
It opened its mystical blue eyes, gazing at Luke and roared ' Alright I was trolled, twice '
Seeing the enemy he had so hardly killed get back up, Luke sighed and released all his remaining dark hands at its face, ending the paralysis then backed away.
Without any stored dark hands and without mana, he had to think of a way to win this fight. No, his situation is too precarious to even win, he has to concentrate on surviving so he began to run. He still had 6 minutes to survive.
Moreover, he had to find a way to cancel that annoying roaring ability. He isn't naive enough to believe that the same tactic would work twice. After all, even if it looks dumb, it certainly wouldn't forget what killed it, and yes it was killed before. The only explanation he could come up with is that it has a revive ability or something similar.
Anyway, Luke is in deep shit right now. He is tired both physically and mentally and has no trump cards anymore. However, unlike the typical villain, the ogre wouldn't just let him be. It released a fire breath towards the fleeing Luke which scorched his back and propelled him forward.
Gritting his teeth, he used the strength of the attack to accelerate. His direction was the nearest mountain that he saw in the first trial. It's not that he hoped to climb it since it's too far, but he ran towards it because of the sparse trees on the way.

The ogre chased after him and could roar at any moment. He hoped he could get to a tree before that and his hope realized. He hastily peeled off some barks with his daggers and began to look behind him, waiting for the ogre to open its mouth. The latter though recognized his action and turned its head before roaring ' why the hell is it that smart ' thought a greatly frustrated Luke but using the fact that it couldn't see him for a split second, he threw out some barks he stored at its eyes the hardest way he could before being stunned.
The ogre, proud of its intelligence turned its head smugly only to receive the barks in its eyes. It was not enough to puncture the eyes but more than enough to cause so much pain that the paralysis wore off and the ogre to whimper in pain. Luke then resumed his strategical retreat, the goal is to create the most distance possible between the whimpy ogre and him. After 30 seconds of wiping its eyes, the ogre also resumed the chase. ' Damn now I can only hope that the paralysis is not indefinite. '
As he thought this, the ogre once again roared, paralyzing him. And only after 5 seconds, could he move.
Now, this is a race against time. They originally should run at the same pace but Luke had a 30 seconds advance. Unfortunately, every 10 seconds he loses 5 because of the roar which should be considered a cheat for most people but talking about the cheat, he was the last that should complain in case he incurred the universe's wrath.
Like this, he would only last 3 minutes before being caught and killed but he used his spacewalk which made him twice faster and was able to pull it off. After the six minutes, the ogre chasing him gradually faded. It still looked at him with overflowing hatred as it disappeared, though, Luke was the same, he suffered greatly by its hands and was even chased like a dog. He only hoped he could have his vengeance as soon as possible.

My Shapeshifting Life
Following what many people described as the 'Whispering of the Sirens', the entire world shifted ever so slightly. A dozen or so individuals through the world awakened unimaginable powers, beginning what would later be known as the 'Metahuman Revolution'. Lilith, a woman who'd always thought of herself as a normal, down-to-earth kind of person, suddenly found herself caught up in all of the drama and changes. With the military wishing to pick her up and force her into becoming a supersoldier, the media obsessing over her, and the scientists salivating to get their hands on her, she really could use any help she could get. Thankfully, while the world still didn't make much sense, at least she gained some sweet powers that could help her survive, if nothing else.

I hope you all enjoyed the novel and the adventure it took you on. I have a second one in the works, but progress has been slow on that front considering all that is going on in the world today and the nature of my work. I'll be posting chapters from that one in the coming months (with any luck). If you enjoyed this novel please leave a review as I'm always eager to read a critique of my work to improve my writing. - Best regards in these trying times, M.I. O'Flaherty

Welcome to Blackfortress! As one of the biggest industrial cities on planet Azuno, Blackfortress has been playing a key role in the planet’s infrastructure, being the primary exporter of minerals and industrial machinery. Numerous cargo planes and vessels leave the city every day, but when a group of Aftonian satellites mysteriously shut down, the city suddenly goes silent, and the shipments stop coming. When a distress call sent by Riley McConnel a few days later eventually arrives, the Sapphirian Navy and the Aftonian Military Corps put together a joint task force of marines and soldiers, tasked with the objective of reconnoitering Blackfortress and hopefully restoring communications. However, as the soldiers of Operation Black Knight arrive in the city, they quickly discover that the place had turned into a warzone. Separated from the rest of his unit, Lieutenant Patterson and his soldiers venture deep into the city in hopes of finding answers, but when people and objects from the planet’s troubled history reappear, their mission soon turns into a desperate fight for survival, and a race against time.
