Hello guys,
Sorry for late post. Our department of the varsity arranged a picnic tour where I was working as a volunteer so I couldn't write the chapter for last few days. But it was helpful for me, not only my mind to refresh, I had also thought some new plot for this story. Thanks for reading. And here is your chapter...
Chapter-15: Vice-Head Chef, Federation of Primary Competition, and Tournament.
To become chef of the Palace of Heaven how many hardships they had faced? There was not only the test on cooking dishes but also writing, appearance, behavior, decoration and so many, they had to score 90+ in each of those tests to reach here.
Many of them could make entire 24 episodes with there life story, as the title of ‘Journey to the Palace of Heaven’. But currently, a first-year brat actually became a chef no… Vice-Head Chef of a culinary society from nowhere, what does that means? It means his rank is second only to Head Chef. Head Chef, Shin Lee is head of every department of cuisine or specifically head of the academy’s every culinary culture and a Vice-Head is the controller of a single culinary society.
What kind of joke is this?
In this academy, 95% cook were former disciples of this academy. After graduation, they could become a real chef who can touch the kitchen directly. Before that, they were at the most assistance of a cook. Even now only 20 students are assistance. And the others are the organizers of tables or have a waiter job or undergoing training under some culinary society's chef.
But instantly they understand it wasn’t a joke. Who approved him? The man who is known as the second best chef in the nation, a man who is not biased toward even his own brother. Then what kind of person he has approved? That guy must be the clearly entire different level of them.

Cooks in this kitchen, some of them started to respect him, some of them marked him as the future star and some of them showing the hint of jealousy. But every one of them approved it that, ‘he might be a prodigy enough to acknowledge.’
And they also heard that this boy is the acquaintance of number one chef. Some of them guess wildly he might be a secret disciple of number one chef and that's how he is so good.
“Thank you for having me here, sir. I will do my best every day.”
Hearing his passing announcement from Shin Lee, Agun bowed politely. Nodding at him Shin Lee said,
“Come here tomorrow as I need to arrange your papers, you have to verify each of them. I hope you can join as the Vice-Head chef in two or three days.”
Vice-Head Chef is a high-rank position Agun understand that, and that’s why there is needing of paperwork.
“I understand.”
After that Agun learned some rules of this kitchen and left from there as he was not still officially chef of this place.
He insists on roaming around the kitchen as it will be his future workplace. Anne the maid followed him with the void of emotion. Even though Agun tried to strike the conversation with her but she just ends it with two or three ending words.
At last Agun chuckled and stop to talk with her as he took it as she’s not the type of doing useless chit-chat.
After half an hour later they left Palace of Heaven and were heading toward the nearby station.
His first class of academy life will start from tomorrow so he was somewhat excited. So he wants to go back his dorm and prepare both mentally and physically. As for why physically, he just recently feeling like he could break through to his long waited Raider League.

As Agun and Anne exit the commercial area, they heard loud cheers. Agun followed the location of the sounds with eyes and saw that there was a one-story building.
On the top of the building, in a board ‘Federation of Primary Competition branch’ was written.
“What kind of building is that?”
Agun muttered.
“It’s a board where they arranged the small competitions between students. All of the competition not official, in fact, it’s the minor competitions like a tournament between friends, tournaments between club members, tournaments between dorm member, tournaments for honor someone etc.”
Anne calmly explained.
“Sounds interesting. Want to check it?”
Agun said with glittering eyes.
“Don’t ask me. If you want to go then go, I will follow you. After all, as your maid, it’s my job.”
Anne coolly replied. Hearing her Agun stepped toward the building.
Upon entering the building he saw there were almost hundred students that were cheering. When he notices with careful eyes he saw there was a screen in front of that crowd and every student's eyes were on the screen.
In the screen, there were two students facing each other. They were fighting hand to hand combat and it was an artistic battle.
He saw hand to hand combat before but rarely saw skillful fighting like this. After few of confrontation, one of student achieved victory by a skillful punch which was thrusting toward his opponent's belly.
“Okay. Zafor wins his 3rd match.”
Then he noticed that a student was sitting in a chair with table. There was a paper on the table where he was writing something. He is the one who was announcing the results moment ago.
Going in front of him Agun asked politely,
“Umm, can I have an idea about this tournament?”
Staring at him for a moment the student replied with smile,
“Of course you can. It’s a tournament which is host by one of academy’s teacher. It’s a refreshing tournament where all the students below Raider League can participate. There is another restriction; you cannot be a student from 3rd year. So only 2nd-year students and freshmen students who didn’t start their class yet can participate. As for the rules, you have to win four matches continuously. And get a free token for Lost Tower which will be provided by student council president, but even if you don’t win all four match you will be given a Sprite pill for winning a single match. So what do you think? You are a freshman and bellow Raider League, are you interested?”
Hearing it Agun’s eyes somewhat glittering more than before. He has no idea what Lost Tower is, but simply he can participate that means he can gain more experience.
“Can I? It will be really wonderful opportunity for me then.”

A Warrior's Love (BL)
"Your mind is dark, your eyes are dull, your life is bleaker than feces, and your heart is covered in ash." She removed one hand to keep her veils on her head as the topmost shawl slipped down her neck. She continued to speak, "Your blood is cold. If you remain this way, you will die before you can find your love." The Krasean lowered his veil, revealing his face to us. He tipped his head upward so I can see his honey coloured eyes that were duller than his peoples'. Black eyeliner outlined the rim of his eyes, drawing attention to his enchanting eyes. "Whoever your lover is, they are your other half. You will endure hardships and pain because of them. You will also make them feel the same." She looked conflicted like she did not know whether to tell me this was good or bad. "In their eyes, you are the evilest and the godliest. How contradicting this is!" "Did you slap me?" I held the helmet between the pit of my elbow and my waist. One hand slowly reached up to rub my numb cheek. It has been forever since someone last slapped me. Now, no one who knew my identity would dare to hit me directly. "The blood coursing through your veins, it's hot and dangerous. You cannot be tamed easily and this may be the cause of your downfall." A strange grimace graced her wrinkled face. I swear to the gods she is ageing each second! "I see your fall. Someone with too much power automatically becomes a threat. You're no longer seen as an ally, but a monster."
