Chapter-9: Interrupt, Punishment, and Felix
When Agun and Orion are going against each other to see the end, they were suddenly transferred to real world from Doppelgänger Reality.
Then they saw an orange hair young man in front of them. He was smiling at them yet with dangerous aura. He chops both on their heads and said,
"This season's first years are too unruly I wonder how will I spend my day as your dorm rep."
"Orange hair senior? What are you doing here? And why did you interrupt us?"
Orion asked with patting his own head.
"Call me senior brother Felix… Man! I told you don't make things hard for me. At first, you bothered your seniors, then pestering your own batch mate and now the newcomer."
After dropping a heavy sigh, Felix said while watching Agun,
"I came here to receive new student of our dorm. And what did you mean interrupting you guys? He didn't even make his full first step in the dorm and you forced him to fight. Huh, whatever... my name is Felix Phoenix, a fifth year. I presume you are the new student Agun Dragun."
At first, Agun was confused seeing a new face, and after hearing them he said to himself, 'Wait wasn't it a test?'
Well, there is no need to answer his question because Agun understood after Felix conversation he was lured by this boy whose name is Orion. When Felix mention him, he replied in positively,
"Yes, my name is Agun... Dragun. From today onward I'll live with you, I am in your care."
Agun is social and can converse easily with everyone, by understanding this Felix gave a slight nod and said,
"I am surprised you actually fall for his talk, let me guess you thought he was taking some kind of test."

"You got me there. I would have avoided him if I knew that. Whatever, I am sorry for causing trouble in front of the dorm entrance."
Agun was being ashamed and apologized to Felix.
"No worries. You did nothing wrong. Orion was the one who lured you in the first place. Well, it is not wrong to battle in the Doppelgänger Reality but its really impolite act of Orion toward a newcomer which our dorm forbids to do. So you are ban to battle until your class start, Orion."
"What!! I will die if you do that."
Orion cried after hearing his punishment.
"Don't worry, we won't let you die. Agun please follow me i will show your room."
Felix asked Agun to follow him.
"Understood."
Agun looked at Orion who was in despair. After laughing helplessly he followed Felix.
"By the way, you cannot battle in dorms, Doppelgänger Reality doesn't work here. You can take it as a safe zone."
Felix said.
"Ah, so that's why Orion punched me out from the dorm entrance?"
Agun asked with a bitter smile, but Felix replied,
"I wonder he even thought about that. All he just wanted to battle with you. He is simple-minded battle junky."
“Is that so? Well, if it is like that, I think he’s not a that bad guy. He is honest about what he wanted to do.” (Agun)
“I also agree with you, but still he’s annoying. By the way, you are not that different from him.”
By hearing Felix, Agun’s eyebrows twitched,
“Am I that, annoying?”
Felix denied with shaking his head while explaining,
“Oh no, I didn’t mean that most of the people would give up if they were your position where your hand and eye are gone… against Orion even if it is Doppelgänger Reality. But you wanted to fight with him, so if anyone called you battle junkie I won’t disagree.”

“I-Is that so. Well, I have my reason.” (Agun)
Agun didn’t deny that while making a small sigh.
“Well, in this path everyone has a goal and reason. Even I am not a different one. We work for our own ambition.”
Felix said with somewhat complicated voice. Agun understood that in his life also has some difficulty. No one asked what their reasons were though. They let each other face and build their own difficulty and life silently.
The mansion was so big and beautiful that Agun was praising in his heart everything he’s seeing here. As expected of number one academy of the nation. He said to himself,
“This academy not only provides the good education but also batter and disciplined lifestyle.”
Hearing him Felix laughed and said,
“If you are thinking every student can enjoy this luxury than you are wrong.”
“Is that so?”(Agun)
“Yes, only top 100 or should I say each batch’s Class S can enjoy this. And except for Class S and royalty, they have to share a room with 4 roommates in an ordinary dorm. And in this mansion has over 100 flats and each flat has 2 rooms including washroom, bathroom, and kitchen. But only 20 students can enjoy this… no, with you now 21. And besides this mansion and royal residence other 24 mansion has 30 flat with one room, kitchen, bathroom and washroom there can stay same 20 students. In another word, only 501 Class S students can enjoy this academy life. And other students stay at over 20,000 ordinaries or should I say real dorms.”
“Oh! Class S always sounds like some awesome creature.”
Agun said with awe.
“Of course it is. After all, every member of Class S become the nation’s pillar in the- future.”(Felix)
“Oh. I wonder why I was selected as Class S. I am no special who is an only 10th level beginner. I heard from Mr. Elger every S class students are Raider and in this batch who is lowest, even he is also a 2nd level Raider.”(Agun)
“You are calculating something wrong. Candidates not accepted in Class S because they are strongest among their batch… they have chosen how much potential they have. Even a beginner level 9 can be chosen if he has golden future and taking our academy’s help he or she will surpass them who is bellow Class S in a month. Believe me, you were chosen because you are one of them.”
“Is that so? I am flattered.”
Agun said with a somewhat satisfied voice. Not because he has been chosen as Class S student because he can enjoy top class resource of the academy and might get as strong as he expected.

CW: Contains mildly graphic scenes of violence/death, topics of unwanted pregnancy/abortion, scientific experimentation on sapient beings, depression/suicide, grief, and trauma. The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.
