Chapter-5: Status Card, Unknown and Serial no 101.
“I, Alexander Theodore the current Student Council President officially accept you as Skyview Fantasy Academy’s student. Welcome here, and make our academy more strong and well-known.”
Saying that Alexander stretch his hand for handshake. Taking it as formality Agun grave Alexander’s hand and said,
“Thank you.”
After that Alexander gave him some papers to fill in. It was easy things like what he did before come here, why he wanted to be student of this academy or what his aim in life is… etc.
But strange thing is, there was no column for personal information like age, race, level or so. Only thing he wrote is his name and where he came from. But he didn’t think about it so much because it might work for later. But after giving the papers to Alexander he gave him a blue square shape card.
“Drop your blood here. Two drop is enough. Here is the needle if you need.”
After taking card and needle Agun asked with confusion,
“Can I ask what is it?”
But Alex replied, “Hoho, this is something good. You will understand soon enough.”
Hearing this Agun shrugged. And he thrusts the needle into his finger. He let slip through two drops of blood on the card. And then he saw something that he never expected. There was,

After seeing Agun’s expression changing again and again Alexander open his mouth with smile,
“As you can see it’s your identify card as well as your status plate.”
“Ow, that is a wonderful thing. This is first time I ever saw impressing tools like this.”
Agun was truly impressive. Summary of every detail of his position was written here.
It will be easy to see what skill he got right now and specially other students who might be his opponent sooner or later. But it was empty thought when he heard Alexander’s sentence,

“By the way, other student’s cannot see back side of card. In fact it’s not a tool in first place. It is Miss Head Mistress’s skill, Status maker. As long as she can collect the user’s blood and drop it in her magic card, she can create it with her skill. And she made its first part as your identity and second part as your Ability. And she programmed it like that no one can see except user him or herself.”
“Well, I am both relief and disappointed to hearing that.”
Well if someone can see his ability Agun himself might be got in trouble.
By the way he had no magic or sprite technique because one has to be at least at Raider league. And it is same for Sprite and Stellar weapon.
“Oh well, but I have question. My name is Agun only. But why Dragun is in my last name?”
Agun asked him seeing the card again. Hearing that Alexander tilted his head,
“Yea, I know. That is coming. Well those who join this academy they are equivalent to knight. Knight are low aristocratic, so if you don’t have any family name, you must have given a name from His Majesty Phillip III. But it’s really hard for him to name every single students of this academy. So that’s why former Head Mistress, Miss Maya White help him with her magic. She programmed one of her skill which generates a family name and she merged her skill with current Head Mistress Status Maker. But rest assured, you didn’t get any random name, give me your status card…”
When Alexander asked Agun for his card, he gave him. Without seeing it he started to talk,
“The name of a person will generate as race name like human’s name will generate like human name with matching his first name, elf will be named with matching their first name and race. Like that your race is… ”
He stopped. It was first time he saw Agun’s Status card. And it was first time he saw something like that.
Student Council President’s hand trembled for a moment. It wasn’t escape from Agun’s eyes. But he knows why he was astonished by it. And there is may be no one but few in continent won’t give that same expression.

No, his race was not noble nor was most hated. In fact he had no race. His race is unknown the card shown his race as “???”. Even his blood group is same.

The reason he is seeking power… is for acknowledgement, is for make himself somebody who will be respected him no matter what is his race. And find his parents. He will punch his father and ask his mother why they abandon him, is that because they were afraid the newborn child whose race unknown?
But there is sometimes he feared he might not have any definite parent or born in race in first place. He might be mutation and become something that even not listed as race. He is afraid. Afraid to cast aside from this world, who has no race, who is nobody…
That’s why he wants to become someone and somebody who will be accepted as one who he is. For that he needs to become stronger to make society to accept him even it is by force.
After noticing his rudeness and Agun’s complexion he tried to calm it down,
“*Cough! Cough!* I beg your forgiveness for my sudden pause. Putting this thing aside for now, grab this card with your hand and say, Astral Uniform.”
Seeing that Alexander was avoiding the situation he grabbed the card from Alexander and said,
“Astral Uniform!!”
To his surprised a light enveloped him and when it vanished, he saw he was wearing something new instead of his old clothes. And he knows what’s this uniform was; it is Skyview Fantasy Academy’s uniform.
“These cards also provide you uniform which is known as astral dress. It’s well-known magic among continent with uniformed group who wear definite/same dress or uniform every day. But only in our academy it is provided by this card. And only magic where you can use other than one astral dress well all is academic though. As long as you are inside in this academy accept dorm you always have to wear this uniform.”
Alexander explained. Agun’s let a small sigh,
“Sigh! This academy is very convenient in every way possible. So what are about match and Rankin thing?”
“As you know, even though we have almost every department and facility, we are most interested in martial art and magic. So academy like us tend to arrange match One-on-One and Group-on-Group to improve their league, battle experience as well as shaping and inventing skills, sprite techniques and magic. To encourage student they made official matches and ranking of students with rating points which is class, batch and whole academy wise. But we have upper hand in this; we have Dimension Reality and Status Card. In other academy you cannot play match unless there is official member witness your battle and record your ratings and other status, but in our academy using this card you can play three times without official which has ability to send you to Dimension Reality. Well you will have further explanation on in your class in detail in near future.”
Alexander gave a short explanation. And said again,
“Okay, everything finished here you can go now. Miss Head Mistress said there is no need to go to see her. Tomorrow morning someone from cooking division will come to pick you from dorm. I think teacher, Mr. Elgar is waiting for you. He will give you papers and map of dorm.”
Agun nods and said,
“I understand. Thanks and good-bye.”
Alexander nods at him.
But when Agun was about exit from door Alexander said to him,
“In academy’s entire history you are the 7th person who admitted as 101 serial number student in class. Where is in other years it’s no more than 100. So don’t disappoint me and Head Mistress.”
Hearing this Agun replied with serious and sharp voice,
“I won’t. Because if I do I will also feel disappointed at me. That’s one of the things I hate most.”
After saying that, Agun exited the room leaving Alexander and another woman with smiling face.

Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created.
