In The Hospital's Main Hall.

After eating a lot of food in the canteen to calm his own mind, Ian finally finished doing things and got to the first floor of the hospital by taking the elevator.

"Ah! Liam... Why do I feel like he have changed so much in just a short time. Not just his physical attributes but also his personality is entirely different from the last time I've been with him." Ian said out loud while walking towards the exit door.

Ian noticed that some people are looking at him like he is crazy so he stopped talking to himself and continued to walk to towards the exit.

The glass door was an automic sliding one so he just need a second to wait and go outside.

The glass door finally opened completely but before Ian could stepped outside, he saw a black car stopped in the hospital's driveway, then a five person who is wearing a black coat went out from it.

Ian was still observing all the men outside but when he saw the guy who is wearing a brown fedora hat took out a hand gun from his cloak, his heartbeat became faster, then he immediately walked inside to hide.

He turned around to look back at the guys, then at that moment, he felt like the time was slowed for him. He looked back at the people inside the hospital with a frightened expression on his face.

"THERE'S A GRENADE COMING! EVERYONE RUUUNN!"

10 minutes earlier, at the VIP room.

"If you can't really believe us by only the talk, then you can watch this video of the Neowights that we have filmed during our secret operation." Inspector Dole said to Liam with a proud look.

The screen in the military laptop started moving and filming a man doing some things.

The camera that used to film the video was moving quite a bit but you can still see all the man's activity.

In the first five seconds of the video, A middle-aged man was kind of like observing a chain link fence like he have something weird to do with it later. In the next five seconds of the video, the man moved his right hand upwards and then he waved it sidewards to the left. In the last five seconds of the videi, the chain fence started bending and distorting like a paper being crumpled.

Liam was startled when he saw the video but he got rid of the thoughts but he suddenly became calm and got used to it immediately when he finished watching all the following video.

All of the video was only 20 seconds long but it was still really unbelievable and a bit frightening.

A man walking in the air, A lady punching and breaking thick tree branches with one punch, A man throwing a kid-sized boulder in the air and catching it again and the last one was a kid who suddenly appeared in front of a fast moving car and stopped it with only hid brute force.

These are unimaginable and an impossible thing to believe that it is done in real life.

Before the video started, Liam sneakily activated his Crystal Vision to know if the video was edited or not and he finished it without seeing something like an edit because It was indeed real.

After watching the video, he thought that the Neowights are a group of people from the Dark Society but he got rid of that thought when he remembered that the people in that organization have tattoos on their necks and the ones in the video haven't have tattoos on their neck.

The two officers were observing Liam's expression. To them he seems really convince so it is the time to question him about it.

"So? What are these 'Neowight' things got to do with me?" Liam asked Inspector Wright.

"As you can see in the video, most people in there are bad guys that does bad things so when they are freely wandering in the country. It could probably turn into a disaster. And I think you have a useful information or... something even more great that can help us capture them." Inspector Wright said calmly.

"I don't know what you're talking about inspector." Liam replied.

"They have a goddamn power! Stop going with your fake innocence kid." Officer Dole was a bit angry at Liam. He was annoyed by this kid in front of him because he doesn't know if he is just ignorant or just pretending to be innocent.

"Don't talk like you know something or everything officer." Liam said with a deep tone but with a calm expression.

"Che."

"I've been investigating this strange things for eight years and I'm much more experienced than the guy in the back so I'm gonna tell you why we suspect you to be one of the Neowights."

"What!? You're suspecting me!?" Liam shouted.

He was half-pretentious right now because he is not sure if he is a Neowight or not. He have the great system which gives him powerful skills but he doesn't know if the Neowights have a system like he currently have today.

He recalled five years ago when the system's voice told him that he was the first person who got the Project-X's system and so he thought that he is probably not a Neowight. He is just the luckiest person to have the system.

"I'll explain all the details right now. Earlier before noon you were moved into the VIP room with full of bandages in your body which means that you're heavily injured at that time..."

Inspector Wright started explaining about what unbelievable things had happen since Liam got inside the hospital.

He said that Liam was obviously had a lot of major wounds after moving inside this VIP room when they looked at the CCTV, then he said in just 7 hours of his resting inside, he was already dressed up likea civilian and was even walking normally towards the elevator, then they started talking about the thing that someone unidentified had gotten inside the morgue.

Unfortunately, the CCTV in the reception and in the morgue was somehow broken at that time so they can't see what clearly happened but when they saw the CCTV that is monitored to a corridor that unidentified guy dressed with a nurse uniform hurriedly came inside the elevator at the same time that the Inspector and the officer were searching inside the morgue.

"...and that guy came in the VIP floor and walked inside your room. I'm gonna continue my suspicion to you, investigate you and tell you all the happenings earlier. I'm going to start now is that okay." Inslector Wright remained calm even after telling all the story of his suspicion.

"Sure. What is it." Liam suddenly felt like he is currently in an interrogation just in a movie and so he kindly accepted his offer to investigate him.

Liam was aware that Inspector Wright is going to do everything just to let him accept his investigation so he didn't made any rejection.

"There are three strange things that had happened today. The first is that it was you who has been doing strange things but doesn't know everything about the 'Strange Things', The second is that you came outside this room without a single scratch on your body, and the last is you have successfully escaped the morgue without is seeing a strand of your hair." Inspector Wright finished his sentence wittout a bit of nervousness.

"Hm. There's no need for me to hide it then. The first strange thing your talking about is a thing that I don't really know either. It's just today that I know about these 'Strange Things' and these Neowights. The second one... I've probably gotten this power accidentally a long time ago but it was just today that I have known it and used it properly." Liam replied.

He was clearly stating facts right there and Inspector Wright knew that. With his decades of experience of being an investigator, he had mastered a skill to know if a person was saying the truth. In just hearing a person's heartbeat, observing a person's facial muscles and looking directly at a person's eyes, he would know if the person were to lie.

"Okay. And about the third one?" Officer Dole was the one who asked Liam.

"About the third one..."

Before Liam could finish his words, something happened.

BOOOM! BOOOM!

As the two grenades exploded, the whole hospital trembled and the cry of hundreds of people inside echoed throughout the building.

"An explosion! It's probably a grenade! Evan check it in the windows! Is it a terrorist attack!?" Inspector shouted and frowned.

In the Hospital's Hallway

The people who was unaffected by the explosion, immediately run far away from the hallway. Some people ran in the other corridor and some people ran upstairs and in just a minute the hallway was left with only all the injured people.

Ian can't run because he was slightly injured. He can't properly move his left foot but he still managed to hide at the right moment and is now safe hiding behind the reception desk but he doesn't know if the people near him were also in his state.

He doesn't have time to think of silly things so he calmed himself and sneakily went to the stairs.

He was almost going upstairs when he heard a boy crying just near him.

"MOM! MOM! *SOB* Wake up Mom!"

The kid is crying in front of his mother's bloody body and he is also covered with dust and have blood pouring down from his head that made Ian pitied him more.

He decided to comfort and help the kid so he walked towards him but he stopped when he heard loud footsteps from the hallway.

"Oi! Don't be a crybaby kid! Your mother is in the hospital so no need to be scared. And there's also a morgue here if things go bad. HAHAHAHA!" The man with a scar on his face shouted and laugh like a crazy man.

"Stop it. We need to kill him now. He's probably gonna tell your ugly face to the police." A good looking man with a fedora hat, a gun in his right hand and a dagger in his left hand spoke.

"Aww. Scarface is going to be mad if you keep teasing him like that. Your name just became number ninety eight after killing the previous one and you're the lead today so be good to us." A woman said while chewing a gum. She had a unique purple-colored pigtail hair.

"Your both stupid so stop talking. Hey! The two of you at my back, go to the VIP floor he's probably there."

"Yes boss!" The two random guys said at the same time then they immediately went to the elevator with a handgun on their hands.

"The rest of us will wait here. Scarface and Pigtail. Go block the door for now." The good looking man said while waving his dagger aimlessly in the air and walking slowly towards the crying kid.

"And what will you do?" The woman with the name of Pigtail asked.

"I'll silence this little kid right here."

The man is in front of the kid when he said that, then he crouched.

"You'll see your mother soon kid."

As he said that he quickly moved his hands with a dagger upwards then pointed but at the kid.

While his dagger was moving downwards towards the kid's head, a flat computer screen is suddenly flying towards the him.

With the man's fast reaction time, he immediately changed the direction where the dagger was landing towards the computer screen and blocked it easily.

"Eh? A heroic act? At this period? WOW! HAHAHAHA!" The man laughed hard when he saw the kid being saved from being killed in front of his eyes.

"And who is this guy that dares to me from my killing operation?" The man suddenly stopped laughing and immediately turned everything within him serious.

'Why the f**k am I doing!?'

Ian reflexively protected the kid from being killed. He didn't know how stupid he became at that moment to just suddenly pursue a terrorist.

Ian cleared his thoughts, then he crouched and moved towards the stairs near him.

But when he finally moved to the end of the desk a loud footstep suddenly came behind him.

At that time, his heartbeat began moving faster and he was trembling greatly.

And when he looked back, a foot was rushing towards his face.

Ian fell over the ground pitifully and the guy was slowly walking towards him.

"Oh nice. It's just a bratty gu- wait. HMM?" The good looking man said after kicking Ian then he looked at his face closely.

"ha... haha... HAHAHAHAHA!" The man laughed hard once again.

"Hey guys look! I found our target! HAHAHAHA."

Ian glance at the laughing man then his face turned into something furious.

'I'm the target. AGAIN!'
