《Strongest Protagonist's Aura》Vol2 Chapter 19 - Loot!

*CRACK*
A loud cracking sound resounded. Although it sounded like one, it was actually from two sources. One is from the red hot ball that now has cracks spreading all over its surface. The other was from my hand. As Newton's third law goes, "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". Though the force I can exert was enormous, my body can not stand the rebound because it was a force beyond my level.
[Ding~ Host's arm has taken heavy physical damage and medium burn damage.]
If it was just a force destroying my arm, I might have become arm-less. Fortunately, it seems that the force I exerted was way beyond destroying my arm. After damaging my arm, it expanded and swept throughout my body like a tsunami, attempting to destroy all my organs; however, one of my abilities came into use once more.
[Host has taken fatal damage.]
[{Rise From the Dead} has activated and negated fatal damage.]
I was glad that everything worked out as the physical damage to my arm was negated, but my arm was still a bit charred. I watched as the ball with cracks got knocked back in another direction before shooting towards the ground like a bullet. Of course, as an equal reaction, unlike Saitama who gracefully lands, I got shot off to the ground like a bullet as well.
*BOOM*
[Host has taken fatal damage.]
[{Rise From the Dead} has activated and negated fatal damage.]
I seriously don't understand how the laws of physics work. I thought having more than 300 strength would really break that law as I'm pretty sure that the equal reaction law wasn't supposed to be applied to me like that. Well, maybe this is how it works, and maybe my imagination of what was 'supposed' to happen was twisted due to seeing how MCs in anime punch with no repercussions.

I was glad that I survived, but I am getting cooked now because I landed in fire. I couldn't help but yell for help, "F-fatty! Hurry and get me out of this fire! My balls are getting roasted!"
"A-ah? Fire? Oh... fire?! I'm coming Bro Pro!" the Fatty questioned in a lost voice before scurrying over in realization that I was in danger.
I was pulled out of the fire with a couple of serious burns, but anything was better than death right? Well, maybe not all things are better than death, but hey, at least it can't get worst than having some burns.
"So ... Bro Pro, is that ball ... really dead?" the Fatty sheepishly asked as he placed me on his back once more.
"It should be ... if it's not ... then we'll just get f**ked by someone else's ball," I responded as I looked at the cracked ball that landed on the other side of the room.
Although it was cracked, it still held its roundish shape, but I noticed a deformed part in its shell that has sunk in fairly deep as that was the spot that I punched. Although it looked dead, I still had lingering fear that it hadn't, but a robotic voice quenched my fears.
"Trial has been passed. Congratulations for successfully completing the user-friendly inheritance ceremony. Please take the exit on the left as soon as possible. The door on the left leads to a treasure room as a reward for all your efforts. System #489JI1k signing out. Good luck."
The f**k? What user-friendly?! That was more like a deathly trial! Also, why does that tone sound so familiar, like I've heard it somewhere before. System sounds familiar too, but before I could ponder further, I was interrupted by the Fatty, "Bro Pro! Did you hear?! Treasures! Finally! I knew that we struck gold from the beginning! Hahaha! After this young master loots all this treasure, this young master doesn't have to worry about always having to beg that old geezer for pocket money to go to Spring's Night!"

"Your old geezer actually gives you pocket money to go to places like that?" I could not help but ask.
"Well, of course he does. It served as a motivation for me to cultivate. I mean the old geezer introduced me to that place. Something about learning tolerance and patience through hardcore training," the Fatty said with a shrug that caused me to almost fall off because he was so skinny, or maybe it was the twisted logic that grandpa of this Fatty has, but I like!
That's how real men are supposed to train- no, no, no! I must not be distracted, my heart has only Ling'er. Ugh, my heart clenched when I remembered the silly naive girl that I was not able to protect. I hurriedly shifted my attention away as I told the Fatty, "Let's go seek out some treasure, go straight ahead then take a right!"
The Fatty followed my directions and we entered the room on the right. I was then bedazzled by the sight of all the medicinal herbs lying all over. Then, there were all the bottles of pills along with piles of spirit stones.
"Bro Pro! Hurry, tell this young master, what do you see?!" the Fatty asked excitedly.
"Oh my lord, I see vast riches my friend, vast riches. What the f**k you asking me for? Hurry up and go collect them instead of standing around to chat!" I roared in excitement as I began to direct the Fatty to collect the riches into his ring while handing some to me as a split.
Although we are Bros that went through life and death together, but sorry, got to keep the divide clear on our money. Can't be like those idiots in those dramas who leave their money in the hands of their bros, who in turn would eventually stab them in the back or run away with the money. With money in your own hands, it is much easier to be real Bros then hypocritically 'sharing' the loot.
I got about 3 stacks of spirit stones, while eating pretty much all the herbs and pills because there was no space to store all that different kinds in my inventory.

Mmm, it's getting harder and harder to level up as the resources needed are immense. Although it was true that I did save the stacks of spirit stones due to not being able to swallow them directly anymore as they don't fit into my mouth, I don't think they will actually bring my level up much either.
However, I still was excited to do the last part of this looting spree, and that was to retrieve the godly weapons!
