《Strongest Protagonist's Aura》Vol2 Chapter 10 - Who Escaped?

"W-What the f**k is that thing?!" the Fatty yelled to me in a frightened tone as he sprinted beside me.
"It's a ball, one that is rounder than you. And unlike you, it can kill," I chided as I grabbed the Fatty.
Then, I turned around at the ball that has almost ran over us. I instantly activated {Ghost Emperor's Voyage}'s void form to pass through the ball. I watched as the ball rolled right through us before screeching to a halt not far away as if it was confused. The face reappeared on the ball as it rotated around on the ball's surface as if it was searching for us.
This time, I was smart and did not deactivate {Ghost Emperor's Voyage} in order to keep being invisible. At least I knew that it works because the ball looked confused. I signaled for the Fatty to walk with me as we headed towards the door silently.
I thought we had managed to escape, but of course, Mr.Aura would not let me off that easily. When I glanced back, I noticed that the eyes on the face of the ball glowed with a blue light. Then, a blue, holographic light appeared, quickly spreading with the eyes as it foci. Before I could react, the light passed through us, but instead of simply continuing on like when it hit the walls of the tunnel, it highlighted the invisible us with a blue, holographic grid. Then, the eye swerved towards our side, directly staring at our current location. Hell, I knew we were f**ked so I could only yell, "RUN!"
As the Fatty and I dashed off, the ball once again clunked after us at an increasing pace as it was rolling down hill. Not long after we began to run, I had no choice but to activate {Ghost Emperor's Voyage}'s void form to let the ball pass through us once again before deactivating it afterwards because stealth no longer has any use.

"B-Bro! W-what do we do now?! I-I don't want to die! I-I still haven't left my seed in this world yet!" the Fatty howled depressingly.
"Here's the plan, we simply have to keep dodging it and get closer to the door. It doesn't look like it'll fit through the doorway as it's nearly the size of the tunnel," I whispered my plan to the Fatty.
"A-ah! Of course! See Bro, this is why you bring me along! It always come down to me to think up of these genius plans!" the Fatty shamelessly claimed.
I don't even know how you can claim that when it is so obvious to everyone else what happens, but I had no time to complain as the ball is now already closing in on us once again. I activated {Ghost Emperor Voyage}'s void form and let the ball pass through us once again. Then, both the Fatty and I instantly dashed off towards the doorway, closing the distance quickly.
Of course, the ball rolled down hill once again, hence I allowed it to pass again. Then, when it rolled uphill once again, we pass through it and bolted for the doorway again. This time, we almost got there as we can clearly see the staircases through the doorway.
Unfortunately, the ball was closing in from behind again, so I had no choice but to let it pass through. Then, I waited for the ball to roll back up so we can run to the door again; however, I was met with disappointment.
It seemed the ball realized our plan for now, it rolled up to the doorway and sat itself right in front of it, blocking our only ticket of exit. It's face appeared once again, but with a grin, as if mocking our stupid plan. Who the f**k made such a sh**ty ball?! Why does it have to be so f**king smart?!
"Bro ... what do we do now? It seems that it's not going to move out of the way. Can we pass through it like we used to?" the Fatty questioned with a exasperated tone.

"We can't. That ball is too big and my ability has a time limit. If it was moving against us, we might be able to do it like before, but with it sitting still, we will need to pass through it's entire mass on our own; however, before we can pass through it, the time limit would end and we would be stuck inside it," I replied in a solemn tone.
I checked my inventory to see if there's some item that I could use to escape our situation. I saw a {Random Teleportation Talisman} which could probably bring me out, but only me. I took it out as the Fatty looked over. He seemed to realize what it was as his eyes widen in shock.
"H-how did you get that? That's like an ancient artifact ... eh do you have an-" the Fatty asked.
"I've only got one ..." I said solemnly.
The Fatty gulped and looked at me with puppy dog eyes. Like I said, that's not going to work, it just makes you look more ugly. I sighed.
"Alright, let's do it like this. We both hold onto to it, and we will insert our Qi together at the count of 3. Whoever it teleports out, we'll leave it up to fate," I said with gritted teeth.
The Fatty looked at me as if I was his savior. Then he gave an ugly smile before saying, "Bro, I knew you were a real Bro. I will make sure to set up a grave for you when I get out of here."
"Oi, we still don't know who it'll take. Why are you deeming me for death already?!" I growled back.
"Hehehe, sorry sorry," the Fatty laughed before his face turned serious for once, "But seriously, you shall be my Bro from now on whether we get out of this alive or not."
"Hah, who wants a Bro like you," I responded cheekily before holding the talisman up which the Fatty grabbed the other end of.
We stared at each other.
"Bro, once again. My name is Ma Yun, it was a pleasure to be acquainted with you. Just because you gave me this chance instead of selfishly using to escape yourself, from now on, you can call me Bro Yun," the Fatty said solemnly with a smile.
I sighed before responding, "Although by chance we met, but I don't want to see another one who I've met perish because of me. I'll ... reluctantly! I repeat, reluctantly take you as my Bro! My name is Xiong Zhi Ye, you can call me by Bro Pro. If we ever meet again in the future, you can give me plenty of treasures for this favor," I replied with a light smile.
We stared at each other. Although the Fatty's face was still as ugly, at this moment, I found his face funny. Maybe this is what they call a change in impression when facing death.
"Ready?" I asked.
"When you are," the Fatty responded.
"Don't back off last minute or you'll regret it," I said jokingly.
"Heh, I told you this young master ain't ready to die yet. You don't back off cause it seems you're giving a death speech," the Fatty retorted.
Heh, so far in my life, it's always been the ones around me dying, not me. Why would I back out of this one? Fate is usually on my side. Right?
"Alright last rites to our friend over there," I said as I gave the ball my third finger as the Fatty did the same, using the hand we held the talisman with, "Now, count together."
Then we counted synchronously, "1 ... 2 ... 3!"
And Qi was inserted into the talisman as it lit up, leading to a blinding light.
